Automatic II Electronic tyre
Automatic II
Electronic tyre-filling gauge
Automatic II
The tyre-filling gauge with iSPIN-control
BLITZ Top-Design
Automatic
iSPIN Control Knob
The new electronic tyre-filling gauge Automatic II from
BLITZ stands out due to its
particularly simple operating concept. In the centre of
attention is the iSPIN control
knob, which sets the required
tyre pressure. A micro-controller measures the actual
tyre pressure and automatically ensures adjustment to
the preset index value.
Automatic II tyre-filling
gauges can be calibrated
and are approved by the PTB
(Physical-Technical Federal
Institute of Braunschweig).
Illuminated
The background-illuminated, alphanumeric LCD
display is particularly
strong in contrast and
therefore ensures good
legibility. It serves the
display of index- and actual
values as well as other diverse status information.
Due to the iSPIN control
knob the required index
value is simply and moreover quickly adjusted.
Robust
The Automatic II has a
sturdy stainless steel casing and vandalism-proof
controls. All electronic
components are compound-filled and therefore
unaffected by climate.
BLITZ Top-Design
Self-Diagnosis
An integrated microcontroller constantly monitors all components. Leakages or malfunctions are
thus instantly recognized
and indicated on the LCD
display.

During the development of
the Automatic II particular attention was paid to
accessibility. The modular
design of the tyre gauge
has taken this into account.
cDISK
Pressure plate assembly device for removal and installation of truck transmissions
cDISK
The simple solution for difficult tasks
Perfectly simple
Due to their extremely heavy
weight of up to 80 kg, truck
transmissions, in particular
their pressure plates, are
very difficult to install and/or
remove. With the new cDISK
from BLITZ this task has now
been simplified considerably.

BLITZ Top-Design
ROLLFIT-System
Different hole circles
The possibility of positioning the support rollers
at different points enables
the support of all common
pressure plates.
Due to the registered
ROLLFIT-System* the pressure plate can be turned to
any desired position on the
support. Important for
exact alignment of the
pressure plate with the
flywheel.
Together with existing equipment (pit lift, crane etc.) the
pressure plate and/or the flywheel can be mounted easily
by one person. The adjustable
tilting angle as well as the
registered ROLLFIT-System*
guarantee an ergonomic
workplace.
Flexibly applicable
As well as several exchangeable pegs, a mounting arm and a transporting
grip are all part of the
standard delivery. The
cDISK can thus be applied
either from under the vehicle carriage or from above.
cDISK Standard Equipment
Consisting of assembly device
,
mounting arm
, transporting grip
and exchangeable pegs (ø 35, 45 and
55 mm) .

cDISK Adaption for flywheel
Positive locking of flywheel is guaranteed by spanner bolts.
Adjustable tilting angle
Complementing the ROLLFIT-System the pressure
plate adapter can be tilted
by ±10°. Should the transmission unit not be exactly
horizontal – for instance
whilst carrying out maintenance work on buses – then
the angle can be optimally
adapted.

cDISK EvoBus Extra Kit
To support EvoBus pressure plates
the standard support rollers must be
exchanged for the rollers from the
Extra Kit.
Order No.: 101758
cDISK Die Cast Housing Adapter
For pressure plates with die cast
housing. The support takes place
within the cup washer by means of
revolving locking (necessary e.g. for
MB A0072501404/A0072505204).

Compressed Air Treatment
Convincing Quality
Refrigerated Compressed Air Dryers
HHD plus and HPRD Series
A well designed heat
exchanger allows efficient
heat transfer, with minimum pressure loss, while
resisting fouling.
A well designed refrigeration system provides
tight control of the cooling
temperature – ensuring a
consistent dew point without the danger of freezeups.
Models HHDP 380 and
larger include an emm
(Energy Management Monitor) automatically cycles
the dryer off when the air
system is not in use (e.g.
at the end of the work day,
weekends).
A well designed separator
removes liquid condensate
across a wide range of
flows.
A well designed automatic drain offers positive
discharge of condensate
without air loss. Models
HHD 10 to HHDP 300 use
pneumatically operated
drain. Models HHDP 380
and larger use electrically
operated drain.
A dryer and 3 micron
coalescing filter for the
price of a dryer removes all
solid and liquid particles 3
microns and larger.
HHDP 600
Refrigerated Compressed Air Dryers
with 3 micron filter and emm (Energy
Management Monitor).
Clean, dry air makes your
operation more productive
As long as the compressed
air is not exposed to temperatures below the temperature
the air was cooled to in
the dryer (this is called the
dew point temperature), no
troublesome liquid water will
form in downstream air lines
and equipment. Dry air keeps
pneumatic equipment running at peak efficiency and
extends the service life of air
tools, motors, and cylinders
allows pneumatic instruments, valves, and controls
to operate reliably and helps
ensure product and process
quality.

Pressure Swing Desiccant Dryers
DK Series
The preliminary filter developed by BLITZ protects
the desiccant bed from contamination thereby helping
to extend the useful life of
the desiccant
The after filter effectively
protects down-line units
from desiccant dust.
The control air filter processes the compressed air
which is required for the
switching elements and
ensures trouble-free operation.
Generously dimensioned
sound absorbers (see illustration) not only reduce the
noise level to a minimum,
but are also fitted with
replaceable inserts to help
prolong service life, thereby
providing an even higher
level of economic efficiency
at the production works.

Complete service for compressed air treatment at
dew points down to -70°C
SENSATHERM®-control
(Optional)
In particular demanding
applications (instrument
air, air for conveying dust,
such as cement or coal dust,
chemical or medical industry)
which require very low dew
points down to as low as
-70°C necessitate the use of
adsorption dryers.
The patented SENSATHERM®
control system controls both
the charging phase and the
regeneration process in a
safe and reliable manner.
SENSATHERM® measures
the temperature characteristic resulting from the
adsorption heat which is
produced and controls the
length of the charging phase
accordingly (up to max. 30
minutes). During the regeneration process the reverse
temperature characteristic in
the desiccant is determined
and stored, representing the
result of the regeneration
process.
Result: Savings of up to
85% in comparison with the
energy normally required
when operated at part load.
With the innovative SENSATHERM® control system,
which is available as an optional fitting, the dew points
can be programmed by the
user from -25° to -70° C (-40° C
max. with SENSATHERM®).
Simple temperature sensors
render calibration superfluous, and the load is indicated
on an LED display.

The advantages at a glance
DKC Series
The capacity giant in compact, wallmounted execution
Everything under control
Moisture indicator available as of
model DK 1000.
• Generously dimensioned
desiccant vessels enable
low air speeds
• The long contact times
between compressed air
and desiccant ensure
constant dew points, even
when extreme levels of
water vapour apply
• The natural aging of the
desiccant amounts up to
30% within the first year.
Due account has been
taken of this capacity loss
in calculating the amount
of desiccant in the vessels!
• Constant dew point
throughout the effective
life of the desiccant
• Especially maintenance
friendly (maintenance
works can be carried out
without removing desiccant agent).
• Moisture indicator with
colour change for possible
increase of pressure dew
point at outlet.

Why you, too, need a
processing system!
Frequently, condensate consists of 99% of water and only
1% oil. Therefore, processing
the oil emulsive condensate
on site is always more economical than cost intensive
disposal by specialist companies. An important point
is, that your system complies
with the applicable laws and
regulations. Contained within
the Water Resources Act, the
legislation stipulates water
processing according to the ”
generally accepted engineering Standards ”. It is prohibited to discharge waste
8
water containing more than
20 mg/l mineral oil into the
sewage system. The solution:
ÖWAMAT®
ÖWAMAT® is an oil-water
separation system for dispersed condensates, proven
for many years and continually further developed. Since
it fulfils the applicable lawful
regulations, safe processing
is guaranteed and discharge
of the processed water into
the sewage system is possible without any problems.

Condensate Drains
Bekomat Series
Constant self-monitoring guarantees maximum
reliability. The current
operating state is indicated
by an LED display. All the
operator’s elements and
the electronic control are
splash-proof and comply
with IP65 protection rating.
The intelligent control
avoids unnecessary loss
of compressed air, thus
permitting considerable
energy savings.
The electronic system consists of an integrated power
unit and a control with
accessible 24 VDC direct
current.
The connection to the
compressed-air system is
quite simple, because the
inlet and outlet of the Bekomat unit are in alignment.
Discharge can be arranged
either through a hose or
piping.
The non-wearing capacitive
sensor registers every type
of condensate – including
pure oil. Condensate discharge is no problem even
with heavily contaminated
condensate.
Bekomat 21
Condensate drain with system. The
advantages at a glance.
For the efficiency of your
compressed air system
No matter for what purpose
you are using compressed air,
it must always be of high and
unvarying quality. This quality
can be impaired by compressed air condensate.
10
Why you need an intelligent
condensate drain
Compressed-air condensate
is unavoidable during the production of compressed air. It
is often highly contaminated
with oil and usually also
contains dirt particles (such
as rust) and other harmful substances. ”Oil-free”
condensate is particularly aggressive. Your primary target:
removing and treating the
condensate to ensure high
quality compressed air.
Condensate does not occur in
consistent quantities. A reliable and efficient condensate
drain removes condensate
from the compressed-air system wherever and whenever
it accumulates, and without
increasing costs. Many drain
types do not meet these
requirements.

In Ground Truck Lifts
DUPLEX Series
Double Safety
The Integrated Safety Device ISA-Duplex¹
The Quantum Leap
The concept of the integrated safety
device ISA-Duplex. Two cylinders with
different functions but with a common
goal: maximum safety.
Safety
The outer cylinder serves
exclusively for lifting and
lowering. The inner-lying second cylinder cares
exclusively for safety.
Safety
The independence of the
lifting and safety systems
are guaranteed by two
separate hydraulic circuits.
Safety
The multi-cylinder as an
integral component of the
integrated safety device
ISA-Duplex.
Safety
The inner-lying
safety cylinder is
completely protected from external
influences (corrosion, pollution and
mechanical damage
etc.).
Safety
The lifting cylinder being forced to ascend and
descend together with the
safety cylinder guarantees
maximum operating safety
all the time.
Hermetic Separation
Two separate hydraulic circuits, in
connection with the safety device ISADuplex, guarantee double safety.
Two Functions – One Goal
The truck lifts of the DUPLEX
series have been developed
from a completely new standpoint. Special attention has
been devoted to the safety
factor.
The outstanding features of
the integrated safety device ISA-Duplex represent
a quantum leap in modern
lifting technology. That which
has been tried and tested for
decades is now doubled.
2
Two cylinders adopt the task
earlier carried out by one. The
outer cylinder serves exclusively for lifting and lowering. The inner-lying, second
cylinder cares exclusively for
safety. Both cylinders are hermetically separated from one
another by two independent
hydraulic circuits. Furthermore, the integrated construction of the safety device
has the enormous advantage
of being
completely protected against
external influences. Neither
corrosion nor other dirt particles can damage the integrated safety device ISA-Duplex.
The New Surface Generation
DUPLEX Lifting Cylinder with Nitro-Diffusion
Technology²
Transformed Surface
As elementary components of
truck lifts the lifting cylinders
in workshop surroundings are
exposed to most unfavourable environmental influences.
For this reason, the lifting cylinders of the truck lifts in the
new DUPLEX series are available as an option with the
new Nitro-Diffusion Technology. Unlike the classic hard
chromium plating, with the
Nitro-Diffusion Technology a
surface transformation takes
place, which not only makes
the lifting cylinder resistant
to external influences but
also increases the resistance
to wear.
With Nitro-Diffusion Technology, damaged chromium
layers which can lead to seal
ring damage and corrosion
are a thing of the past. Maintenance intervals are longer
and durability increases.

The FLEXCOVER Pit Cover from BLITZ³
Drive Over It!
Modern truck workshops
have to optimise their work
routine. In order to do this,
it is important to have a safe
and above all useable covering of the truck lift pit.
These requirements can
be more than met with the
FLEXCOVER pit cover from
BLITZ. The innovative design
providing a flat workshop
floor enables gearbox lifts, for
example, to be used directly
on top of the pit cover. The
very high load-bearing capacity (4 metric tonnes wheel
load) means
that commercial vehicles
can drive directly over the pit
cover.
The flexible, joint-free connection of the individual
FLEXCOVER segments provides easy-running movement. Furthermore, complete
galvanisation as a standard
provides additional protection
against corrosion.
Submerged
DUPLEX lifting units have an integrated motor immersed in oil for even
quieter running and optimal thermal
conditions. The hot galvanised oil
container cares for an especially high
operating safety. Thus corrosive dirt
particles in the check valve do not
have a chance.
Floor-level installation of
the FLEXCOVER segments
which can be completely
driven over.
Flexible, joint-free connection of the segments allow
easy running.
Capable of bearing 4 t
wheel load.
Complete galvanisation of
the individual segments.
The Details
The FLEXCOVER pit cover from BLITZ.
Tough and Universal
The tough standard traverse of the
DUPLEX lifting post, with exchangeable slides and plug type connections
can be universally applied.
4
One Unit
All oil-leading parts are directly
flanged or tubed on the DUPLEX
lifting post.
Maintenance-Friendly in Detail
Easy servicing counts. A small example: DUPLEX rollers with integrated

The Large Variety
DUPLEX Truck Lifts at a Glance
Mobility
With the hand-held control panel the lifting and
lowering movements, as
well as the adjustment of
the lifting units, can be
sensitively controlled. The
lifting units can be controlled separately as well as
together. Integrated into the
control panel is a dead-man
control, as well as an emergency stop button.
Comfort
The IP 54 protected control
unit is the heart of each
DUPLEX truck lift. The
integrated synchronisation control as a standard
avoids unintentional height
differences. A programmable automatic axle distance
pre-selection is also
available as an option.
At a safe distance
Emergency lowering is
carried out by the central
control unit. The load
can be lowered from
a safe distance using an external 24 V
power supply (e.g.
lorry or fork-lift
truck battery).
DUPLEX 2-Posts
The 2-post execution as the smallest
DUPLEX type is the
ideal choice for lifting
trucks and busses.
One for All
DUPLEX truck lifts emphasise the
variety of applications.

components and possible types.
Linear
A special hydraulic pump
which is also suitable for
suction operation ensures
a constant lowering speed
– both with or without load.
The Large Variety
DUPLEX Truck Lifts at a Glance
Safety
The redundant design of
the central control unit
– consisting of two PL
controls (PLC’s) – provides
safety at the highest level.
Planning tip
Planning a water flume
is especially suitable for
washing bays.
Flexibility
The BLITZ standard
traverse, together with the
extensive programme of
accessories, allows the
easy and above all safe take
up of almost every type of
vehicle.
Precision
The adjusting drive, consisting of 2 kW gear motors
and guided link chain,
allows the precise positioning of the individual lifting
posts.
Load capacity up to 4
metric tonnes
There are two types of
permanent pit covering to
choose from. The sliding
covering and the roll covering, although different, are
in their effect comparable.
Note the lower capacity of
the sliding covering (ca.
600kg wheel load).
DUPLEX 4-Posts
The largest of all DUPLEX
lifts is also the most universal. With 4 posts and 2
hand-held control panels
it is also possible to lift 2
vehicles separately. Due to
synchronisation control as
standard, the full capacity of supply can be seen
clearly when truck and
trailer are lifted together.
DUPLEX 3-Posts
In addition to the application possibilities which the
2-post lifts already offer, the
3-post execution is necessary for semi-trailers and
articulated busses.
Exact
Wheel troughs care for
the safe positioning of the
vehicle before take up.
7
Installation and Advice
Important Information for Choosing a Truck Lift
Frame versus Cassette
The right choice beforehand
often avoids costs incurring
later. With the frame as one
option and the cassette as
the other, BLITZ offers two
possibilities, which take into
account the different requirements on site.
The cassette is ideal for the
later installation in workshops or pits which already
exist. Also in cases when the
project schedule only leaves
a short time available for
the installation of the truck
lift, the cassette is the right
choice.
The frame is especially interesting for new workshops.
The segment design guarantees low transport costs. By
means of the existing stone
anchors a stable and durable
connection is made with the
floor plate.
Typical Integration of a DUPLEX In
Ground Lift (top)
In addition to the option axle traverse
executed as wheel grip, a water flume
is integrated – ideal for washing bays.
