JENNINGS STATE FOREST UPDATE
After years of negotiations, the Florida Forest
Service has just approved community access to the
24,000-acre Jennings State Forest. Eagle
Landing residents will soon be able to enjoy hiking
& biking trails, horseback riding, canoeing,
fishing (license required) and wildlife - everything
the forest has to offer - without leaving the
neighborhood.

CONGRATULATIONS...
To our very own Eagle Landing Men’s 3.5 tennis team that took the state title during
the USTA Florida Adult 18 & Over League Florida. Sectional Championships, held
Aug. 15-17, at Sanlando Park in Altamonte Springs.
Our guys beat a tough South Miami-Dade County team (Salvadore Tennis Center)
by a single court in a high drama final.
They have advanced to the 2014 USTA League 18 & Over 3.5 National
Championships on Oct. 24-26 at the Jim Reffkin Tennis Center in Tucson, Arizona.

Bobby Poole currently lives in Southern Hills with his wife of 46 years. He was
educated in public schools and Christian churches with a high focus on educational
excellence, social engagement and service to their community. As the Executive
Director of a private, anti-poverty community action agency, overseeing 55
employees and an annual budget of nine million dollars, he will bring his
experience to represent and serve the residents of Eagle Landing.
Dwayne “Rocky” Rauchhaus, resident of Spanish Bay, has over 25 years
experience in operations management, transportation, and logistics and
currently oversees day-to-day operations and budget of a 1.4 million SqFt.
facility with over 650 employees and 580 pieces of equipment. His business
style is based on integrity, structure, accountability and fairness.
After serving his country for 34 years in the United States Air Force,
Dennis (Denny) Mineweaser has now chosen to serve this community. Denny
brings to the forefront his ability to prepare, execute, and manage budgets to support this type of work projects. Realizing the need to do more with less, Denny is
willing to accept the task of co-managing the South Village CDD board with his
fellow residents to maintain, repair, and expand this complex for the sustainment
and enjoyment of our community
