Dear Devotees,
The Samiti has great pleasure to inform all the devotees that Makara Vilakku Mahotsavam
2015 (30th Anniversary of Pranapratishta), the most auspicious occasion of Lord Ayyappa,
will be celebrated in a devotional manner with attractive, religious and cultural programmes
from 12 to 14 January, 2015 at the temple premises as per the detailed programmes given
overleaf.
During Utsavam, several purifying and energizing tantric/religious rituals are performed
with the aim of enhancing chaitanya of presiding Deity & Updevatas, as well as to remove
all ill-effects arising out of unknown causes in and around the temple. Such sacred deeds
are believed to ensure perpetual happiness and prosperity for all people associating and
participating in the festivities.
As you all devotees are aware that with your whole-hearted cooperation and assistance our
institution has become one of the reputed temples not only in the State of Rajasthan but
also in the whole of north India. We hope such cooperation will continue in future also, so as
to enable the Executive Committee to achieve the goal for more prosperity of our renowned
temple.
Since a mammoth event as this, calls for cohesion and support of all devotees, the Executive
Committee earnestly appeals to one and all for their massive participation to make the
Utsavam 2015, a memorable and cherishing event.
