The City of Watauga Senior Adult Program offers a variety of activities and services throughout the year. Stop by
the Senior Adult Center and join in on the fun! For those members who live in Watauga, the City provides
transportation to and from the center daily. Meals are provided to all patrons of the Senior Adult Center who are
60 years of age and older. Donations are encouraged. If you are under the age of 60, you may purchase a meal
for a minimal fee. You must call and reserve a meal before 10:00 a.m. the day before. Meals are provided on
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday by Senior Citizen Services of Tarrant County and are served to members who
have made a reservation by 10:00 a.m. the day before.
 To arrange transportation to and/or from the Senior Adult Center, you must call the day before by
3:00 p.m. to reserve your seat.

Managing Concerns About Falls
Designed to benefit older adults who are
concerned about falls, and are interested in

The Caregiver Teleconnection is a safe and confidential telephone learning and
support program. With just a telephone, persons caring for a loved one can participate in short
information sessions over the telephone that cover a variety of topics designed to help family

Come out to Watauga’s Capp Smith Park to enjoy a fun evening with the family,
fishing and camping out under the stars!
Free hot dog dinner with pre registration.
Poles and bait will be provided, or feel free to bring your own!
Age Divisions : 6 & under, 7-11, 12-16. Prizes will be awarded.

This program is designed for children ages 3-6 years old. Children
participate in structured educational and recreational activities including arts
and crafts, story time, physical fitness programs and much more. This camp
will be held at Foster Village Center.

participate in daily organized activities including field trips, physical fitness,
reading time and free play with their friends. This camp will be held at the

“Where the Early Bird Gets Fit”
Provides a great workout program for people who want to workout in the a.m. hours
and who want to make a positive lifestyle change.
BC Body Works
A full body workout! Men and women welcome.
Spin
Spin classes are an excellent way to get a good workout in while keeping your muscles
in shape, burning calories and having fun while doing it.
Yoga
Develop better muscle tone and flexibility. Build strength, balance, and coordination.
Attain greater focus, clarity, and concentration. Melt your stress away.
Zumba
Zumba fitness is a program that combines Latin/International music and dance themes
with an aerobic/fitness interval training method.
P.M. Playtime
Drop your child off at our P.M. Playtime while you enjoy your activities at the

3 hour minimum rental.

Rental hours are seven days a week from 7:00 AM-11:00 PM

A refundable deposit is due on all reservations made for a City of Watauga Facility.
Deposits will only be refunded providing there were no damages to the facility
reserved. Please allow three weeks after your reservation for your deposit to be
returned to you.
Any reservation cancelled at least two weeks prior to the reservation date will be
entitled to a full refund. Reservations cancelled less than 2 weeks prior to the
reservation date will cause forfeiture of the entire deposit.
