you get a roaring in your ears.

downloading and uploading; otherwise it may cause
application errors.
Please do not disassemble the product personally, and avoid
cleaning the product with ethyl alcohol, thinner.
Do not use this product in the areas which prohibit use of
electronic devices, for example, in airplane.
Please do not use this product while driving or walking in the
street, or it might cause an accident.
NOTES: This device does not support waterproof function.

Battery Installation
Install or replace the battery when the battery
Battery Full
Battery low
indicator is showing low power(see the icons
on the right) as follows:
1. Open the battery door on the rear of the unit by
sliding it out.
2. Insert 1(one) AAA battery (not included) as shown
after figure and the polarity marking inside battery compartment.
3. Slide in the battery door.
NOTE: Alkaline batteries are recommended for longer playing time.
BATTERY PRECAUTIONS
Follow these precautions when using battery in the device:
1. Use only the size and type of battery specified.
2. Be sure to follow the correct polarity when installing, the battery as
indicated. As reversed batteries may cause damage to the device.
3. Do not mix different types of batteries together(e.g. Alkaline and
Carbon –zinc) or old batteries with fresh ones.
4. If the batteries in the device are consumed or the device is not to be
used for a long period of time, remove the batteries to prevent damage
or injury from possible battery leakage.
5. Do not try to recharge batteries not intended to be recharged; they can
overheat and rupture.(Follow battery manufacturer’s directions.)
6. Do not dispose of batteries in fire,batteries may explode or leak.
7. Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery
installation.

Downloading and Transferring Files
Pull out the cover of the USB Port on the Player as the figure below then
connect the Player to the USB Port on the PC. Download MP3/WMA files into
the unit.
Power On/Off
1. Press and hold the
Button for approximately 2 seconds to power on
the unit.
2.To power off, press and hold the
Button until “Bye-Bye” appears on
the display then release the button.
Earbuds
Insert the supplied Earbuds to the Phones Jack on the unit.
NOTE: Please select a suitable volume and avoid loud sound while using

earbuds. Please turn down the volume or stop using if you get a roaring in
your ears.
Hold Switch
To avoid pressing any buttons during playback, lock the buttons on the unit
by:

Lyric Indicator
During playback, if the Lyric indicator on the display is from(

Main Menu
When power on the unit, the main menu will appear on the display as
below:

~ If SYS (System) is selected, press the MODE Toggle Switch to
enter.
~ Slide the MODE Toggle Switch to left or right to select the desired
icon then press the MODE Toggle Switch to enter.
~ Slide the MODE Toggle Switch to left or right to set or reset. Press
the
MODE
Toggle Switch to confirm the setting and exit to
previous menu.
~ Press and hold the MODE Toggle Switch to exit to main menu.

Set backlight auto turn off timer to 0 (Backlight will not
turn off) or 3-30 seconds as desired.

Language
Set the on screen display language as desired.

3. In “Power off “setting menu
Off time
Set the auto power off (when idle) timer to 0 (the unit
will not turn off automatically when idle) or 1, 2, 3, 4
minutes as desired.
Sleep
Set the sleep timer to 0 (Sleep timer will not function) or
time
10-120 minutes as desired.
4. In “Contrast” setting menu
Contrast
Set the Contrast level from 1-15 as desired.
5. In “Memory info” setting menu

Read the status of internal memory.

Set the Equalizer modes to Natural ; Rock ; Pop ; Clas
sic ; Soft ; Jazz or DBB as desired.
· Press the MODE Button to enter, the display will
resume to normal display and the Letter "A" of A-B
replay indicator will blink.

beginning of AB replay.
· Slide the switch again to define the end of AB replay then
the unit will start playback the selected section
repeatedly.
Exit
· To stop AB replay, press the MODE Toggle Switch.
The unit will resume to normal playback.
Press the MODE toggle Switch to return to previous
menu.
Voice Recording
1. In main menu, slide the MODE Toggle Switch to left or right to
select REC (Record) then press the MODE Toggle Switch to enter.
Wait until the following picture appear on the display:

2. Press Button to start recording then speak into the Microphone at
normal tone of voice.
3. During recording, press the

Button to pause, press again to resume
4. When finished, press and hold the
Button until "SAVING ..." appear
on the display to save the recordings.
Playback the voice recording files
1. In main menu, slide the MODE Toggle Switch to left or right to
select RPL (Recording Playback) then press the MODE Toggle
Switch to enter. The information of the 1st recording file will appear on
the display.
2. Slide the MODE Toggle Switch to left or right to select the desired
recording file then press the Button to start playback
3. Other operations are same as playback music files.

(to cover shipping and handling costs) payable to Craig Electronics
Inc. For consumers in Canada, please make sure that the cashier
check or money order is redeemable through a U.S. bank. Ship your
product freight pre-paid. Your unit will be repaired, replaced or if the
unit can not be repaired or replaced, a refund will be forwarded to you
