Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah
ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa‘adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan Negara
Brunei Darussalam, Canselor Institut Teknologi Brunei berkenan mengurniakan titah di Majlis Konvokesyen
2015 ITB
Assalamu’alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh
Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem
Alhamdulillah Rabbil ‘Alameen, Wabihiee Nasta’eenu
‘Alaa
Umuuriddunya
Wadden,
Wassalaatu’
Wassalaamu ‘Ala Asyarafil Mursaleen, Sayyidina
Muhammaddin, Wa’alaa Aalihee Wasahbihee
Ajma’een, Waba’du.
Beta bersyukur kehadrat Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala
kerana dapat hadir ke Majlis Konvokesyen Institut
Teknologi Brunei (ITB) Tahun 2015.
Beta difahamkan bahawa majlis konvokesyen kali
ini akan menyaksikan penganugerahan sulung
bagi program Ijazah Sarjana secara penyelidikan
atau Masters by Research yang merupakan satu
lagi pencapaian cemerlang bagi ITB. Beta juga
mengambil maklum bahawa kemasukan pelajar
institusi-institusi terkemuka dunia. Untuk ini ITB
perlu mempunyai keazaman dan sistem pengajian
yang berkualiti.
Ini semakin relevan, dengan negara turut mengalami
tempias iklim ekonomi global yang tidak menentu.
Kita mahu generasi masa kini mempunyai pendidikan
tinggi untuk memacu ekonomi berasaskan
pengetahuan.

Features
Menyentuh penglibatan stakeholder, Beta gembira
graduan job-ready.
perkembangan.
Demikian juga, apa-apa yang sudah sedia ada,
janganlah lalai daripada mengulang kaji. Mana-mana
yang baik dikekalkan, tetapi jika terdapat sesuatu
yang bertentangan dengan falsafah atau konsep MIB,
maka itu semua tidaklah wajar didiamkan, melainkan
ianya perlu diulang kaji semula dan diperbaiki.
Akhirnya, Beta sekali lagi merakamkan ucapan
setinggi-tinggi tahniah kepada para graduan yang
sama-sama kita raikan pada pagi ini. Beta juga penuh
berharap dengan kejayaan ini, para graduan akan
menyumbangkan khidmat, bukan sahaja kepada
kerajaan malahan juga kepada ugama, bangsa dan
negara.
Ucapan penghargaan dan terima kasih juga
dirakamkan kepada semua warga Institut Teknologi
Brunei, yang merangkumi Ahli-Ahli Majlis, Ahli-Ahli
Senat, Naib Canselor, Pegawai-Pegawai Utama, AhliAhli Akademik, pegawai dan kakitangan atas segala
sumbangan dan perkhidmatan mereka. Beta berdo’a
semoga Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala akan memberkati
segala pengorbanan mereka, dengan mengurniakan
ganjaran yang berlipat ganda.
Sekian, Wabillahit Taufeq Walhidayah, Wassalamu
‘Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.
Universiti tidak diragukan lagi memainkan
peranan penting dalam membina bakat atau talent
untuk menjana ekonomi negara. Sebab itu Skim
Perkhidmatan Tenaga Akademik yang sedia ada,
adalah dihasratkan untuk mereka yang benar-benar
layak sahaja.
mencapai taraf “negara maju”.
Dalam menuju sasaran ini, negara tentu saja
memerlukan pelbagai rancangan kemajuan,
termasuk rancangan dan pelaksanaan di bidang
pendidikan.
Maka dalam kesempatan ini, Beta ingin
mengingatkan, supaya pihak berkenaan, janganlah
sekali-kali terbabas daripada landasan luhur: MIB,
apabila kita merancang sesuatu rancangan untuk
pendidikan.

of the ambitions in the University’s Strategic Plan,
that is to achieve a ‘Vibrant Campus’. The Garden
consists of three main areas: Evolution of the ISLE
Garden, Green Initiative, and the Inventors’ Platform.
Evolution of the ISLE Garden section gives visitors an
overview of the development phases of the Garden.
The Green Initiative Section contains various trees,
plants and herbs that may also be used as a testbed for relevant student projects. Meanwhile, the
Inventors’ Platform is a place where students can
discuss and develop ideas, as well as display creative
and innovative projects or activities. In addition
to creating a place that is conducive to intellectual
thinking, the Garden is also developed to enhance the
environmental and aesthetic quality of the campus.
