To Make a Reservation Call toll-free 1-877-906-FLEX(3539) from • 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, Monday through • Friday at least 48 hours in advance to make a reservation. Have your destination address and required arrival time ready to give to the scheduler. Please note that reservations cannot be • made or changed with the FlexVehicle • • driver. You will be picked up at or near your desired location. (Pick-up times and locations are determined by all reservations). Please be at the scheduled pick-up location a little early. Like bus service, the FlexVehicle does not wait. Your scheduled pick-up time may • change due to scheduling. You will be notified as far in advance as possible. To Cancel a Reservation Call the same toll-free Flex number, 1-877-906-FLEX(3539) any time day or night. Please note that RIPTA reserves the right to suspend service to Flex passengers who repeatedly miss pick-ups without canceling their reservations. RIPTA Fare Information for Seniors and People with Disabilities Low-income persons with a disability or age 65 and above may ride free of charge with a RIPTA No Fare ID Pass. All other persons age 65 and above, or with a disability pay full fare during RIPTA peak hours of service (7 am–9 am and 3 pm–6 pm) on weekdays and pay 1/2 fare all other times upon presentation of a RIPTA Senior/Disabled ID Pass or a Medicare ID Card. AV LIN AR M H RD RVEY TOM HA TO V EY R D Take RIPTA route 90 from Westerly on weekday mornings, transfer to Kingston Flex at Richmond Park & Ride 26 minutes after leaving Westerly. URI students, faculty, and staff can use their URI ID to transfer to the Flex service. Flex will return to the Richmond Park & Ride for the afternoon bus back to Westerly. C RO SS Providence AV From Westerly to URI ST FlexService also goes outside the Zone to Salt Pond Plaza three times a day for fixed route bus connections to and from URI and Providence. VU E To travel outside your FlexZone, use regular fixed-route bus service. To transfer to a fixedroute bus, go to one of the stop locations (listed above). For arrival and departure times of fixed-route buses, call 781-9400 or visit ripta.com. S E TT AV S C HOO L ST D Salt Pond Plaza O To travel outside your FlexZone ITE • RD Although it is outside of the Zone, FlexService goes to the Stedman Center/McGrath Judicial Complex three times a day. Reservations to and from the Stedman Center may only be made at these times. The Stedman Center may also be requested by passengers boarding at one of the stops listed at left. Just remember, FlexService only picks up and drops off riders within the FlexZone. BEA CH ST If RIPTA follows a Saturday, Sunday or Holiday schedule due to inclement weather, FlexService will be cancelled. RIPTA will not call passengers with reservations. For RIPTA service in inclement weather, watch for media announcements.
