Rydym yn cyflenwi perfformiadau ar draws Cymru trwy rwydwaith arloesol ac ymledol o gydweithrediadau cenedlaethol a rhyngwladol â chynhyrchwyr ac ymarferwyr. Rydym yn datblygu modelau arferion gorau newydd sy’n seiliedig ar gyflenwi ar y rheng flaen. 2012/2013 yn flwyddyn brysur a llwyddiannus i Creu Cymru – roedd mentrau llewyrchus gyda’r theatrau a’r canolfannau celfyddydau ledled Cymru sy’n aelodau yn cynnwys ein prosiect cynaliadwyedd newydd Eginiad Creu Cymru; a’n cynllun Ewch i Weld, sef rhaglen eang o gyd-ymchwilio i berfformiadau sydd wedi esgor ar raglenni cynyddol fywiog i gynulleidfaoedd ledled y wlad. Roedd cysylltiadau â’r sector cynhyrchu yng Nghymru a thu hwnt hefyd yn ffocws i ni yn ystod y flwyddyn, ac yn cynnwys Dyfodol, ein cynllun i ymgysylltu ag ymarferwyr a chynhyrchwyr sy’n dod i’r amlwg... Bwrdd a staff Creu Cymru ➜3 enhancing the expertise helaethu’r arbenigedd creative collaborations cydweithrediadau creadigol Oni bai am gefnogaeth Creu Cymru ni “fyddem yn gallu ymestyn ein gwaith dawns ar gyfer pobl dros 60 oed drwy ein Cyfaill Dawns ymroddedig Cai Tomos, sy’n adnodd mor werthfawr i ni yn Galeri. Mari Emlyn, Galeri not only for programme development, but also for personal development, as the networking and sharing of ideas that goes with these trips is better than any training course I could attend. ” Gwen Watson, Span Arts Central to our programme of sector development are our artform consortia - one each for dance, drama and music. These fora met 12 times during the year, to plan tours and new joint projects, share information, and engage in critical debate. Another cornerstone of our work is the Go & See scheme - a targeted programme of visits to performances, festivals and conferences. Producers and practitioners join in the scheme, often playing an important part of ‘curated’ visits, as part of our drive to develop cross-sector dialogue. ➜ 5 7 representatives from 20 members and 18 affiliated organisations – to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 55 16 representatives to other ➜ national and international festivals/ symposia – including CINARS in Montreal, WOMEX in Thessaloniki, Imaginate in Edinburgh and Showcase Scotland in Glasgow 70 49 visits to individual ➜ performances in the UK ➜4 Mae ein consortia o ffurfiau celfyddyd wahanol – un yr un ar gyfer dawns, drama a cherddoriaeth – yn ganolog i’n rhaglen i ddatblygu’r sector. Mae’r fforymau hyn yn cwrdd trwy gydol y flwyddyn i gynllunio teithiau a chyd-brosiectau newydd, i rannu gwybodaeth, ac i fynd ati i gynnal dadleuon beirniadol. Conglfaen arall i’n gwaith yw’r cynllun Ewch i Weld – sef rhaglen wedi’i thargedu o ymweliadau â pherfformiadau, gwyliau a chynadleddau. Ymunodd cynhyrchwyr ac ymarferwyr â’r cynllun gan fod yn aml yn rhan bwysig o’r ymweliadau wedi’u trefnu, a hyn yn rhan o’n hymgyrch i ddatblygu deialog ar draws y sector. ➜ 57 20 57 o gynrychiolwyr o o aelodau a 18 o sefydliadau cysylltiedig i Wŷl Ymylol Caeredin 55 16 o gynrychiolwyr i o wyliau/ ➜ symposia cenedlaethol a rhyngwladol eraill – gan gynnwys CINARS ym Montreal, WOMEX yn Thessaloniki, Imaginate yng Nghaeredin a Showcase Scotland yn Glasgow 70 49 ymweliad i o berfformiadau ➜ unigol yn y Deyrnas Unedig Creu Cymru collaborated with Sinfonia Cymru and other ABO Wales members on a joint conference Cydweithiodd Creu Cymru â Sinfonia Cymru ac aelodau eraill Cymru o Gymdeithas Cerddorfeydd Prydain ar gynhadledd ar y cyd. The Go & See scheme “is invaluable to Span Arts, Georgia Ruth – contemporary Welsh folk tour (Clwb Ifor Bach in co-production with Galeri & Creu Cymru) Mission Photographic / taith cerddoriaeth werin Gymreig gyfoes (cyd-gynhyrchiad Clwb Ifor Bach â Galeri a Chreu Cymru) ” Creative relationship with producers and practitioners burgeoned this year: Dance Buddy continued to support co-mentoring relationships between independent dance artists and individual theatres and arts centres; and other practitioners from around the nation engaged with the presenting sector in our Dance Buddy events. Futures, a programme pairing six Wales-based producers with subgroups of theatres, moved some of the partnerships towards co-production. And Creu Cymru’s partnership with Wales Association for the Performing Arts (WAPA) moved forward strategic plans for artistic connections between presenters and producers, through a series of discussions and events. And the developing relationship with the Association of British Orchestras Welsh Members’ group engendered a joint conference, looking at collaborative approaches to classical music presentation across the nation. Creu Cymru also co-ordinated tours of work across Wales: including National Dance Company Wales, Graduate Ensemble; Mr & Mrs Clark, NINE & The Medicine Show; contemporary Welsh folk tour (Georgia Ruth; The Gentle Good; Cowbois Rhos Botwnnog); a Creu Cymru coproduction of Crashmat Collective, Façade. Total: 50 performances to audiences of 3388. Mae’r berthynas greadigol â chynhyrchwyr ac ymarferwyr wedi blodeuo eleni: Parhaodd y cynllun Cyfaill Dawns i gefnogi perthynas cyd-fentora rhwng artistiaid dawns annibynnol a theatrau a chanolfannau celfyddydau unigol; ac ymgysylltodd ymarferwyr eraill o bob cwr o’r wlad â’r sector cyflwyno yn ein digwyddiadau Cyfaill Dawns. Symudodd Dyfodol, rhaglen sy’n paru chwe chynhyrchwr o Gymru ag is-grwpiau o theatrau, rai o’r partneriaethau tuag at gyd-gynhyrchu. Mae partneriaeth Creu Cymru â Chymdeithas Cymru ar gyfer y Celfyddydau Perfformio (WAPA) wedi bwrw ymlaen â chynlluniau strategol ar gyfer cysylltiadau artistig rhwng cyflwynwyr a chynhyrchwyr drwy gyfres o drafodaethau a digwyddiadau. Ac mae’r berthynas sy’n datblygu gyda grŵp Cymru o aelodau Cymdeithas Cerddorfeydd Prydain wedi esgor ar gynhadledd ar y cyd a oedd yn edrych ar ddulliau cydweithredol o gyflwyno cerddoriaeth glasurol ledled y wlad. Mae Creu Cymru hefyd wedi cyd-drefnu teithiau ar draws Cymru: gan gynnwys Cwmni Dawns Cenedlaethol Cymru, Graduate Ensemble; Mr & Mrs Clark, NINE & The Medicine Show; taith cerddoriaeth werin Gymreig gyfoes (Georgia Ruth; The Gentle Good; Cowbois Rhos Botwnnog); a chyd-gynhyrchiad Creu Cymru o Crashmat Collective, Façade. Cyfanswm: 50 perfformiad i gynulleidfaoedd o 3388. ➜5 Cynyddodd rhengoedd yr Hyrwyddwr Dyfeisgar, sef is-grŵp o aelodau Creu Cymru sydd â chydweithio wrth wraidd eu hymarfer, a datblygodd y grŵp ffocws clir ar waith ar gyfer plant a theuluoedd. Roedd ymchwil yn cynnwys ymweliad wedi’i drefnu i Lundain i weld cyfres o gynyrchiadau i blant. Creu Cymru Emergence, our sustainability initiative (with partners Julie’s Bicycle, Cardiff University and Cynnal Cymru-Sustain Wales) began in earnest: Environment Wales funded a scoping phase across the membership (to inform a forthcoming behaviour change programme with a pilot group of 18 theatres and arts centres in 2013/14). The Creu Cymru members’ conference in November 2012 took Emergence as its focus – including inspirational presentations from the Young Vic (on their sustainable production of After Miss Julie) and Chickenshed (on social sustainability, and their initiative with survivors of domestic abuse in Meirionydd). Dechreuodd Eginiad Creu Cymru o ddifrif, sef ein menter cynaliadwyedd (gyda’n parterniaid Julie’s Bicycle, Prifysgol Caerdydd a Cynnal Cymru-Sustain Wales): ariannodd Amgylchedd Cymru gyfnod cwmpasu ledled yr aelodau (i fod yn sail i raglen newid ymddygiad arfaethedig gyda grŵp peilot o 18 o theatrau a chanolfannau celfyddydau yn 2013/14). Eginiad oedd canolbwynt cynhadledd aelodau Creu Cymru ym mis Tachwedd 2012 – gan gynnwys cyflwyniadau ysbrydoledig gan Young Vic (ar eu cynhyrchiad cynaliadwy o After Miss Julie) a Chickenshed (ar gynaliadwyedd cymdeithasol, a’u menter gyda goroeswyr cam-drin domestig ym Meirionnydd). Creu Cymru is a “constant force for good; they make my working life better, much more fun and much easier. ”, Angie Dickinson Pontardawe Arts Centre investment buddsoddiad Creu Cymru achieved another successful financial outcome for 2012/13, bringing forward funds from 2011/12 to meet its project commitments, carrying forward funds into 2013/14 to meet future planned expenditure and maintain the designated reserve fund to its targeted level. The organisation again proved itself to be highly efficient: 91% of expenditure being on activities and member services, with only 9% on administrative expenditure and governance. Llwyddodd Creu Cymru i gael canlyniad ariannol llwyddiannus eto ar gyfer 2012/13, gan ddwyn cyllid ymlaen o 2011/12 i gwrdd â’i ymrwymiadau prosiectau, a throsglwyddo cyllid ymlaen i 2013/14 i gwrdd â gwariant arfaethedig yn y dyfodol yn ogystal â chynnal y gronfa wrth gefn ddynodedig i’r lefel a dargedwyd ar ei chyfer. Dangosodd y sefydliad unwaith eto ei fod yn hynod effeithlon: roedd 91% o’r gwariant ar weithgareddau a gwasanaethau i’r aelodau, a dim ond 9% ar reoli a gweinyddu.
