The Seve Ballesteros ‘Natural’ Golf School is only the third of its kind in the world, and the first in either the UK or Ireland. There is a feast of other facilities too, including a driving range with power tees, indoor putting green, camera room, pitching green and bunker practice area, as well as a 9 hole par 3 course. A stream runs down the right side of the green and bisects the fairway. Very tempting 2nd shot but positioning still is the wise choice. Small undulating green. 9 Drive Par 4 421 394 375 334 Index 4/8 286 256 236 194 223 193 172 129 32 0 88 104 121 142 162 199 9 Approach The tee shot must be threaded between the trees and the bunker if there is to be any chance of going for the green in two. Be short of the pin as the green slopes severely to the water. 10 302 281 247 189 272 250 213 157 Drive Par 5 526 502 470 414 Index 15/15 27 0 48 X 91 65 75 139 122 154 153 200 144 218 162 10 Approach Left to right dog-leg par 5 reachable in two for long hitters. An accurate drive down the right will bring the green into range for the 2nd shot. A large bunker complex protects the green on all sides, so you may need to lay up some 80 yrds short. All the left side of this hole is heavily bunkered. A great short hole. 12 Drive Par 4 491 468 446 331 Index 1/7 292 267 243 188 136 247 222 200 143 100 38 0 79 101 126 151 170 188 191 226 215 221 12 Approach Tee shot needs to be positioned down the left side in order to avoid bunkers on right. Prevailing wind blows across this hole pushing the 2nd shot towards the large lake just to the right of the green. Two good shots required to hit this green. A stream runs across the fairway at approx. 230 yds off the tee. 2nd shot is played slightly uphill to an elevated green. Bunkered on both sides. Large green sloping from back to front.Take an extra club for the 2nd shot. 14 Drive Par 5 299 267 231 180 256 224 189 138 572 532 499 442 Index 7/5 306 276 243 182 32 0 75 X 110 94 133 166 175 198 221 254 248 192 14 Approach Driving line is up the right side in order to avoid bunker on left side of fairway.
