Summer Camp at the - Issaquah School District
2nd-4th grade Science Camps are for curious campers who want to explore how things work and why. Coaches from Big Brains Education Enrichment of Bellevue help young scientists explore the wide world of science—from robots and rockets to chemistry and submarines. With tons of hands-on experiments, we’ll build, sink, zap, and crash things all summer long! Performing Arts Camp Powered by Mercer Island’s own Youth Theatre Northwest, kids will hone theater and life skills, gaining confidence both on and off stage. Younger kids will use their imaginations, bodies, and voices in theater games and adventures. Kids in grades 3-6 will work as an ensemble to create a production complete with costumes, sets, and lights. Each three-week session culminates in a performance for families, friends, and fellow campers onstage at the J. Z Art Camps Adventure Camps 5th-8th grade Join us on an adventure! Hike mountain trails, kayak down winding rivers, improve your wilderness skills, and more. Each camp takes kids on exciting outdoor journeys and teaches them valuable life skills. From creative cooking to canoeing fundamentals to surviving in the wilderness, these camps make summer one big adventure. 5th-6th grade 7th-8th grade Get out of the J and explore! Each week of X Camp and Junior X Camp has a different theme that sends kids out to experience the great outdoors every day. With hiking, rock climbing, horseback riding, Frisbee golf, paddle boating, archery, golfing, and everything else under the sun, X Camp is non-stop fun. OF GREATER SEATTLE 3801 East Mercer Way Mercer Island WA 98040 Explore your inner artist during our week-long visual art camps led by Bricks 4 Kidz® and Ellen Hochberg Studios, and discover a world of possibilities. Z 9th-10th grade Our Counselor in Training (CIT) program facilitates the transition from camper to counselor. CITs plan programs, lead activities, and help supervise campers. A combination of classroom learning and time spent with campers helps teens gain a better understanding of their strengths, develop valuable skills for working with kids, become role models in our local community— and prepare to be future SJCC Summer Camp counselors.
