I know my grandfather, Simon F. Scott, who founded the
company in 1917, would be extremely pleased to see his
great-great granddaughter playing on equipment made
by the very company he established so long ago.
As a family-owned company, we proudly design and fabricate
the majority of the products we sell at our manufacturing facility
in Medicine Hat, Alberta. Our mission continues to be to create
high quality products that put fun first without compromising

To be effective, the surfacing must cover the complete
protective surfacing zone for each playground structure.
The depth required will depend of the type of surfacing
and the fall height of the equipment.
Many different types of safety base are available including loose
fill materials such as pea gravel and sand, engineered wood fibre
or unitary surfacing such as rubber tiles and pour-in-place rubber
surfacing. Availability of material, weather conditions, wheelchair
accessibility and cost are all factors in deciding which surface
type best meets your needs.

Delivery: Most products are delivered in crates and large pallets
and will require a forklift or appropriate equipment to unload.
A bill of lading is our receipt from a carrier that our shipment to
you was complete and in good condition upon leaving our factory.
On the shipment’s arrival please check the equipment closely to
make sure there are no damages or shortages before signing
the bill of lading. Notify the carrier at once and sign delivery
documents noting the damage or shortage if any. Failure to note
damage or shortages may impair your right to recovery from
the carrier.
