· Rafal Majka became the first rider to win a Tour de France stage while wearing polka dot jersey since Michael
Rasmussen in stage 9 in 2005 (Mulhouse). This excludes leading the mountain classification and wearing
yellow.
· This was the third stage win by a Tinkoff – Saxo rider this Tout. In 2010 this team won four stages: Andy Schleck
(2) and Fabian Cancellara (2).
· Tinkoff - Saxo became the first team to win Back-to-back Tour stages with different riders (Majka & Rogers)

· Vincenzo Nibali won his 15th yellow jersey, surpassing Gastone Nencini on fifth place all-time for Italian riders.
