CORPORATE LOGO MANUAL Graphic Design Regulations Blumaq R Blumaq has achieved a leading position thanks to the dedication and commitment of every member of the Blumaq team, who, day after day, put into practice the basic principles of the company, always looking forward to new goals. At Blumaq we make all the necessary efforts to manage and keep our daily “Total Quality” objective.This is a global concept that includes product quality, quality customer service and quality in relationships with individuals and organizations. Furthermore it also means direct and clear communication with all our interlocutors. This is the reason why, from the begginning, we at Blumaq have been very careful with the creation and usage of our Corporate Identity. This means, an effort to correctly use the trademark, the logotypes and the colors: the image. This is the objective of this summary of Graphic Rules, to make us respect and unify our way of communicating. Thank you. Blumaq Corporate Logo Manual / Blumaq S.A. 2012 VISUAL IDENTY The Blumaq trademark is visually, represented with three different applications of the sign according to the space available. It is always better that the application is used on a light background: Use 1 When it has to be used on dark background, the only solution is: Use 2 Use 3 R R R Blumaq R R R R Blumaq Blumaq Corporate Logo Manual / Blumaq S.A. 2012 R R Blumaq USES OF THE LOGO Blumaq is represented in the market by means of the two trademarks: Blumaq and Blumoil. The trademark is the visual sum of symbol and logotype. R + symbol R = logotype BRAND The trademark characterises and identifies Blumaq and the services Blumaq offers. This trademark is our signature, possessing definitive features that may not be altered. This is the reason why the trademark never represents or identifies the company itself. The commercial name of the company is different to the concept of trademark. ACCEPTABLE R Blumaq Madrid UNACCEPTABLE Madrid Blumaq Madrid or any other branch is not registered as a trademark, so it is not correct to use the Blumaq symbol with the name of a branch. Blumaq Corporate Logo Manual / Blumaq S.A. 2012 USE OF THE TRADEMARK There is only one way of using the three applications of the Blumaq trademark. These applications can only be used in the “format” shown bellow: + Blumaq + R The symbol cannot be used independently from the complete logo design. The usage of the name Blumaq on its own is never correct. The design of the 3 applications of the trademark is established and does not admit any other distribution or variation. The typography selected for the logo is HELVETICA and cannot be substituted by any other. The spaces and the thickness of the letters are fixed, and any change in this sense is considered incorrect. ACCEPTABLE R R R Blumaq UNACCEPTABLE UNACCEPTABLE R R Must be used with Blumaq. Must be used with the symbol. USE OF COLOUR The colours used are: Pantone 300, Black. 100% Pantone 300 CVU The formula CMYK: C=100 M =43 Y=0 k=0 Black The formula CMYK: C=100 M=100 Y=100 K=100 The are only two correct uses of the colours. These two possibilities must be applied with the maximum clearness possible. Depending, for example, on whether the background is dark, the frame around the symbol and the letters will be white or not. We can only solve it by using the white framed logo. No makeshift combination intended to solve the problem of a non defined background will be trademark acceptable. When the background is not white, the use of the brand will be the one for dark background, this is to say, the white framed one. ACCEPTABLE R UNACCEPTABLE R The colours of the symbol cannot be altered. UNACCEPTABLE R The two uses of the trademark cannot be combined. The diametrical layout of the trademark cannot be altered in any way whatsoever.
