Silent Gliss presents a fabric collection for your home. Selected with
care in regard to design and textures but also intensively tested to ensure
that they work perfectly on various defined window treatment systems,
we are sure that these fabrics will inspire you.
Finest translucence suggested by thinnest Trevira, rich linen or
traditional cottons offer cool and natural looks.
Inspiration introduces new fabrics to complement the Silent Gliss
established and long proven fabric range. These new fabrics bring
new textures and colours, together with exciting new patterns.
You will find digital prints, laser cut-outs and embroidery work confirming
our aim to be your partner for all creative and striking ideas for your
window treatments.
The fabrics are presented in two inspiration books, one with plain fabrics
(Inspiration 1), the other one featuring various textures, prints and
patterns (Inspiration 2). A compact user-guide helps you in your selection
and gives the necessary information for each fabric and its applications.

The Applications
Our aim with Inspiration is to provide maximum flexibility. All fabrics have been tested
and selected to adapt perfectly to the Silent Gliss product range.
The following pictograms give you indications for what type of window treatment
system each fabric can be used.
Roman Blinds combine the simplicity
of blinds with the warmth and versatility
of soft furnishing fabrics.
The most fashionable and contemporary
of blind systems. A perfect stand-alone
blind or together with curtains in the
same or contrasting fabric.

Roller Blinds
Curtains allow you to express the style
of your choice – either contemporary
or traditional.
Choose from a range of hand, cord or
electrically operated Silent Gliss curtain
tracks.
Of all window treatments, Roller Blinds
are most simple to operate. Their clean
lines perfectly complement modern
architecture and interior design.
They allow maximum shading with
minimum window obtrusion.

With Wave and Wave XL, Silent Gliss
has developed unique heading systems
which turn traditional curtains into a
striking contemporary design element.

The system looks as attractive from the
back as from the front. It can be used
also as visual room divider (ceiling fixing
recommended). Panels can be either

systems that can accomodate virtually
any application – regardless whether
straight, curved or sloping.

Our Competencies
Digital Printing (Spirits, Waterside)
A heat process transfers the image from a photo onto the fabric and it becomes part of the weave.
The technology progress opens new horizons for large motifs, multicoloured and photographic quality images
with the possibility to print on stiff but also on very transparent fabrics.
Laser Cuts (Vertical Waves, Cut)
Laser cut-outs is a current technique which works on different materials for window treatments.
On Polyester based fabrics, the machine cuts out patterns and shapes for a clever light reflection in your
windows. Silent Gliss uses this laser cut technique to create Vertical Waves where the design of the louvres
themselves create startling imagery and shape the room.
Embroidery (Flower)
Traditionally the embroidery-technique is used in the Haute Couture or on precious table cloth. The embroidery
technique, made with a large machine to produce 300m wide fabrics, is not only drawing a pattern onto
the fabric but also changes the complexion of the surface. The floral motif alters the agility fo the light base
fabric Someo.
