Block Printing Holiday Cards Fused Glass Pendants
Monday, Nov. 16th
6:00pm-8:00pm
Friday, Nov. 13th
10:00am-12:00pm
You may remember carving
the gray blocks of linoleum in high
school, using carving tools and
hoping that you wouldn’t poke yourself. Today
there are so many easier options for printing,
while achieving that same block print look.
Join us for a morning making holiday cards
using linocut techniques in Styrofoam, soft
eraser type material or try your skills with
linoleum. Bring inspirations or use those
provided to create your own set of cards or a
set to give as a gift. Wear old clothing or a
paint shirt. RSVP-class limit of 15.
Fused glass pendants are a great gift or a great
way to add color to your own outfit. Participants
will learn how to stack pieces of glass to create
2-3 pendants. The stacked glass pendants will be
kiln fired off site. Much of the glass will be precut,
but participants will be shown glass cutting
techniques. All pendants will be dropped of at
The Victory Center where you will be contacted to
pick them up. These pendants will be done early
enough to be part of your holiday gift giving if you
so desire. This is a very popular class, so please
register early!
RSVP-class limit of 15.
