Eggs incubator
Now you can virtually duplicate nature’s way of hatching eggs with this durable,
see-through incubator jar. Made of high impact, non-corrosive plastic, this uniquely
designed hatching system enables uniformly distributed water to rotate fish eggs ever so
gently and evenly. A mesh screen prevents waste eggs from spiling out of the jar, while
the large spout at the top lets hatched fish swim out at just the right time.

Used successfuly for over 30 years by federal and state hatcheries as well as commercial
fish producers here and abroad. Water is supplied to the bottom via an open ended
feeder tube. It has been used with success for trout, tilapia and catfish to name a few.

Artemia incubators
Tired of trying to separate brine shrimp nauplii from empty shells? This commercial
hatchery is capable of producing 300+ cc (20 tablespoons) of cysts in 5 gallons of water.
Simply turn off the air after hatching and allow empty eggs to float. The hatched nauplii
will travel to the bottom where they can be removed simply by opening the valve. The
pyramid shape (12" square by 24" high) promotes hatching. Great for rotifer culture,
too! Includes weighted rigid air tube, diffuser and drain valve. The optional
powder-coated aluminum stand makes bench top mounting easy.
Vibert box
The method of Richard Vibert takes again the same principle but improves it appreciably:
the eggs are placed in a plastic box which it is easy to hide under the gravels. This box
which weighs 45 grams is of modest size (70 X 63 X 45 mm). It is transported easily
and contained a thousand of trout eggs. The perforations existing on the six faces let
the current bring to eggs the oxygen which is necessary for them. They also make it
possible alevins to leave themselves the box and to continue their development under
the gravel, i.e. under the natural conditions to which they owe their rusticity. At a 30 cm
water depth, just dig a 20 cm deep hole, place the box and cover it with some gravel.

The streamside incubator is a fiberglass and polyester resine rot-proof container buried near the river bank. Water provided from
the river or tributary is filtered, then routed by gravity to the incubator. Water circulates permanently and its constant renewal

Molded from polycarbonate, this tank can
be used for hatching both rotifers and
Artemia. Tank measures 13 1/2" in

Vertical incubators
Vertical Incubation Systems are engineered to increase the survival rate of salmon and trout eggs,
provide superior use of floor space, and provide excellent water utilization. Theh can be stacked
in four, eight, twelve, or sixteen – trays, which will allow you to conserve valuable floor space.
Water supply needs are minimized because the system requires as little as 3-6 gallons (11-23
liters) per minute/per water tray. Maintaining and working the incubation system is efficient and

Self-cleaning artemia and rotifers concentrator
The Aquamerik concentrator offers a new, safe, fast and automatic solution to
concentrate and rinse nauplii in a commercial production situation. Much better than
any other equipment on the market thanks to its variable speed rotating drum. Our
concentrator includes a motorized rotating drum, a self-priming pump, a motorized
inlet valve, an air compressor and a control panel for automation.
A concentrator is an essential part of the Artemia production system for the
concentration, rinsing, and harvesting of the nauplii in commercial hatcheries.
Traditional concentration devices such as the plankton screen bags and the welded
wedge screen concentrator all have the clogging problem that limits the
concentration flow rate and increases the risk of damage of the nauplii.
A novel self-cleaning rotating drum Artemia nauplii
concentrator has been developed. The rotation of the drum
creates a continuous water flow across the filtering screen to
wash the nauplii off the screen thus creating an efficient
self-cleaning effect that is also safe to the nauplii.
The concentrator was tested at three rotation speeds to
compare the filtration and survival rates for nauplii densities

Wing
The seine is a surrounding net. Its use consists in encircling the
fish in order to capture it. It is made of three sections, including
two wings located at the ends and a pocket in the central part.
It is built from nylon. We manufacture rectangular seines, butd
also pear-shaped, depending on your use. It is important to
know the water depth where the seine will be used.
The upper part of the seine is assembled on a polypropylene
strengthening rope and is provided with surface floats. The
lower part is built with a weighted double braid.

Aquamerik automatic fish graders
These fish grader have been made to increase productivity and to make work easier for fish farmers. Grading fish by size gives
better efficiency and a maximal use of feeding costs by having good conversion rates.
Principally developped for aquaculture, those automatic fish graders are
now supplied worldwide to grade different fish species.
Made only with high quality material, the structure is built with tubular
aluminum and the moving parts of UHMW (plastic), that insures the best
resistance ever and many years of service to come with no maintenance.
The conveyer works with a 110 volts electrical motor. In order to avoid
working problems, each grader is rigorously tested before beeing
shipped.
Besides, those devices are specially designed to
eliminate the stress caused by intensive grading. With
this system, fish are always in the water.
From each water output, you can install a flexible pipe
to lead fish in the desired tank or pond to regroup
them in function of their size.
It is also possible to install a fish counter at the end of
each pipes and stop evaluating their number.

Nannochloropsis
Nannochloropsis is a small green algae that is
extensively used in the aquaculture industry for
growing small zooplankton such as rotifers and
for Greenwater. It is also used in reef tanks for
feeding corals and other filter feeders . It is
3600 X as dense as cultured algae, so 1 liter replaces almost 4
metric tons of live algae! Nanno 3600 is available in 1 quart and 1
pint bottles, and 1 liter bags.

Shellfish Hatcheries: Works very well with mussels. It has not
been traditionally used with oysters and clams, however a study
currently being done at a university in Los Angeles indicates that it
can work as well or better than Isochrysis and Pavlova with larvae
and post set.
Storage: Instant Algae Nannochloropsis can be stored in a
refrigerator for 3 months (best if stored at -1 to +3C) or it can be
frozen for longer shelf life (2+ years). When frozen the algae will
"hard-freeze" like ice.
Pavlova
Pavlova is a small golden/brown flagellate
that is very similar to Isochrysis. It has a
VERY high DHA profile and is excellent for
enriching rotifers and other zooplankton.
Pavlova is similar in nutritional profile to Iso, however is has a
more sophisticated sterol composition so it is very popular with
cold water fish hatcheries (such as cod) for enriching rotifers.
Fin Fish Hatcheries: Pavlova has both a high DHA and EPA
profile so its good for enriching zooplankton. We have received
very good reports on larval survival from hatcheries that use it
to enrich brine shrimp.
Shellfish Hatcheries: Pavlova works very well for oysters,
clams, mussels, and scallops. It is also used to increase the
DHA / EPA levels in broodstock.

Isochrysis is a small golden/brown flagellate

Shellfish diet is a mix of five marine microalgae that all have
demonstrated success with a variety of shellfish including
oysters, clams, mussels, and scallops. A mixed diet provides a
much better nutritional profile for all types of shellfish,
increasing both growth rates and survival. Shellfish Diet can be
used with pre-set larvae all the way up through broodstock and
will typically perform as well as live algae so it can be used as
a complete live algae replacement. 1 quart of Shellfish Diet will
replace the equivalent to 1800 liters of dense algae culture.

Rotifer diet HD is a marine microalgae feed product for
producing high quality, high density, low cost rotifers.
Rotifer Diet HD is a combination of the microalgae species
Nannochloropsis and Tetraselmis and results in a 20% increase
in rotifer volume over pure Nannochloropsis. It is a 100%
complete feeding solution, needing no other feed additives to
produce dense cultures. It was specifically designed for high
density rotifer systems, but also works exceptionally well in low
density and batch cultures.
Thalassiosira weissflogii is a large diatom
(6-20μm x 8-15μm) that is used in the
shrimp and shellfish larviculture industry.
This algae is considered by several
hatcheries to be the single best algae for
larval shrimp. The large cell size (16 X the biomass of
Chaetoceros and 3 X the biomass of Tetraselmis) extends the
algae feeding period until the end of the PL stage. During the
winter this algae is about 15 microns, but shrinks to about 5
microns during the summer. The color of TW varies from brown
to green to yellow, depending on the amount of chlorophyll in
the culture. This color change does not in any way affect the
quality of the algae. Fin Fish Hatcheries: Good for feeding
copepods and brine shrimp.
Shellfish Hatcheries: Due to its large size TW is an very good
feed for post-set (200 microns and larger) oysters, clams,
mussels, and scallops and for broodstock conditioning

Automatic feeders
AF6 and AF7 are primarily used in hatcheries, labs and small tanks. The AF6 is designed
to feed small and moist fish diets. Constructed of a high grade clear plastic which is very
durable and allows for easy monitoring of the feed level.
Feed flow is easily adjusted with vibration intensity and thumb screws.
They can be used in a 115 Volt AC or a 12 Volt DC operation. AC operation requires the BE227 Variable Power

Injectable "PIT tag"
"T-BAR" tags
Passive integrated transponders (PIT) have no battery
so the microchip remains inactive until read with a
scanner. The scanner sends a low frequency signal to
the microchip within the tag providing the power
needed to send its unique code back to the scanner
and positively identify the animal. Passive tags are
designed to last the life of the animal providing a
reliable, long term identification method. PIT tags are
typically injected subcutaneously using a 12-gauge
hypodermic needle and syringe; they can also be externally
attached using adhesives. Tags that are pre-loaded into an
implanter, gas sterilized and individually packaged are
available and convenient for tagging in the field
Numbered from 0 to 100, these anchor
tags work well with medium and small
fish.
The Power Tracker System is a portable,
water-resistant, handheld Identification Tag
Reader. Its patented Multi-Mode technology
enables tags from different manufacturers to
be read (currently AVID and FECA-VA coded
radio frequency tags).
The ID code is displayed on the Reader's 16
character LCD or can be downloaded via
RS-232 to a PC computer. In the operational mode, the Reader
emits two beep tones and visual LED flashes to signal that an
Identificaiton tag has been read. When not in use, four beep

These fish labels perfectly suit to aquaculture research and
especially for genetics. By maintaining appropriate data, the
labels can provide information on sex, age, genetic line, or
produce dispersion models, etc...
A proper installation of a label may require some practice,
but by following the next method, it would be easier and
safer. The goal is to place the label "hook" in the rays of the
dorsal fin which are pointing towards the fish's muscles. If
you're correct, you should feel the bones by fixing the label.
To facilitate this, hold firmly the fish in swimming position
and reduce their motion.
The fish in movement can damage the needle and cause
injury to the user and fish. Using the tip of the needle, lift up
a scale and insert the needle at the base (forward) of the
anterior dorsal fin. Then hold the gun firmly against the
body of the fish while pressing the handle. Slightly twist the
pistol and remove the needle.
DO NOT RELEASE THE COMPRESSED HANDLE UNTIL
THE NEEDLE HAS BEEN COMPLETELY TOOK OUT.
Once removed, slowly release the handle and ensure that
the next tag is positioned for labeling.
Note: disease
transmission can be a concern when tagging fish. To
minimize this risk, disinfect the needle with rubbing alcohol,
iodine or other disinfectant between each plant label.

Automatic gutting machine
Safe and easy to use, the ”SALMOCOUPE” evisceration system works rapidly and enables the user to clean his fish without
tampering their quality. Available with different vaccuum sizes (9 and 16 gallons). This kit is supplied with a sink and a table. On
special orders, you can receive it without the sink, table or compressor.
Unlike any other automatical gutting machine, the ”SALMOCOUPE” versatility allows the user to eviscerate and clean any fish size
without further adjustments. Starting and stopping the system takes only a few minutes, allowing occasional uses.
The ”SALMOCOUPE” allows you to clean up to 450-500 commercial size trouts per hour, it represents considerable savings
on workforce and it insures the operation profitability. These machines are 100% stainless steel and use just a few moving parts
which increase its durability and minimize its maintenance.

OPENING TIME

Except for signed contracts, prices are subject to change without notice and prices
charged are those in force when order is accepted.
PAYMENT TERMS
All sales of goods and services must be paid in cash (cash or approved check) upon receipt of
the goods. Customers with a line of credit in order are granted a 30 days period for their
payment. When signing a contract, a deposit of 20% of the order amount is required for all
orders over $1 000 for customers without an open account or for orders greater than $5 000
for customers with open accounts.
ADMINISTRATION FEES
For any purchases not paid within 30 days after the delivery date, an administration fee at a
rate of 2% per month is charged (equivalent to an annual interest of 24%), subject to change
without notice.
SHIPPING
Shipments by post or courier service are always at the buyer's expense. These delivery
schedules may be changed without notice. Aquamerik reserves the right to require payment of
shipping costs for materials overdue at the time of shipment or of initially planned delivery.
$2.50 of handling and packing fee is applied for orders under $25. Higher handling and
packaging costs may be required depending on the fragility of the product to be shipped.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
By signing delivery documents, the customer confirms receipt of all items appearing on the
documents. At this time, any defect or missing item must be reported because, as said before,
it will be impossible to claim missing items for free.
DAMAGES
The most appropriate transport is chosen at shipment time unless otherwise specified by the
customer. Aquamerik is not responsible for damages during delivery by carriers. In case of
apparent damage, claims must be made immediately to the carrier; enter your comments on
the bill of lading and invoices sheet. The client has full responsibility to make claims with the
carrier. Check out the carrier before disposing of the equipment. If the material appears
damaged or in incorrect quantities when opening the package, keep the material and
packaging as received, and notify Aquamerik within two days of delivery. All prices are FOB
Aquamerik, unless otherwise indicated.
DELAYED DELIVERY
Aquamerik is not responsible for any damage caused by delay in delivery due to circumstances
beyond its control.

RETURN OF GOODS
No merchandise may be returned without a prior authorization number that you can obtained
from Aquamerik; moreover, a minimum administration fee of 15% of the total value is applied.
A copy of the goods invoice must accompany the return. Products must be new, in perfect
condition and accompanied by their original boxes. A return request must be made within 30
days following the date of delivery.

WARRANTY
Products not manufactured by Aquamerik are warrantied by the manufacturer of origin. The
