Wednesdays between 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. prescriptions may be picked up at Bel-Air, CVS, Rite-Aid or Walgreens at Laguna & Franklin Blvds. or Calvine Road & Elk Grove Florin Road. On Mondays and Thursdays between 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. riders may shop at Kohls (two locations), Walmart (two locations), or Target on Laguna Blvd. & Bruceville Road. Nominations accepted from the active membership may be submitted, in writing, to the Nominating Committee by April 11, 2014. Nominees must be members in good standing. Ballots will be included in the May 2014 Newsletter. Ballots must be returned to the Senior Center in person or by mail no later than 4:00 p.m. May 31, 2014. The celebration will be on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 from 2:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Admission is free and will feature refreshments, kids’ activities, entertainment, a ribbon cutting ceremony and tours of the new state-of-the-art facility. The Special Waste Collection Center will be a drop off facility for typical household hazardous waste. Neuropathy Support Group Neuropathy Support Group meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 1:00 p.m. in the Senior Center SCEG Classroom. The next meeting will be held on April 8, 2014.
