Product Overview
This catalog of AC motors represents KEBCO’s latest
offering in Power Transmission Products. Since the
early 1990’s KEBCO has produced COMBIGEAR, a
series of integral gearmotors in four configurations:
In-line helical, offset helical, helical-worm, and
bevel-helical. As the demand for the quality and
performance of COMBIGEAR has expanded, so have
the needs to make our product more flexible. This
flexibility began with the ability to provide stand
alone shaft-in/shaft-out units and metric C-face input
units. Naturally with this additional feature in the
COMBIGEAR product offering, the stand alone AC
and C-face motor (IEC and NEMA) needed to follow.
Existing and potential customers have quickly identified the high quality and performance advantages
(see the following page for features and benefits) in
the KEBCO AC motor program. Taking it one step
further, the matched performance with KEBCO’s
COMBIVERT, full line of AC variable speed drives,
gives a new meaning to the statement “motion control
package.”

Standard Motor Options

non-drive end of the motor to give user maximum
flexibility

NEMA 56C & 145C in sizes to 2 hp
● Overload temperature switches or thermistors
● Available with integral or C-face gearboxes
● KEBCO spring-set brakes, mounted on motors to
60 hp (see COMBISTOP Catalog or page 19 of
this catalog for details)
● Complete drive trains with KEBCO’s modular

How to Order (Part Number Construction)
After determining the horse power requirement and all standard options, to order simply construct a model
number as in the following example.
Example: the requirement is a 2hp 1800 rpm motor with a brake, encoder and forced air cooling fan, B3 foot
mounted with thermal windings protection switch, 230V / 460V, 60 Hz.
1) First, select the type and extension based on horsepower and speed from the Motor Data tables found on
pages 6-13. (The extension is required since most frame sizes support two hp ratings).
