Fun Bike at CitraLand BSB City Semarang – On 16 December 2012, CitraLand BSB City held Fun Bike program, which was participated by around 1,000 people from various part of Semarang and the greater area, including head of sub-districts in Semarang. The next picture shows Mr. Artadinata Djangkar, Director of PT Ciputra Property Tbk, the parent company of CitraLand BSB City project, was waving the flag, marking the start of the Fun Bike. CitraLand Surabaya Won FIABCI Indonesia – BNI Prix d’ Excellence Awards 2012 for Master Plan and Residential Low Rise Category Surabaya – There were 16 best real estate projects winning FIABCI Indonesia – BNI Prix d’ Excellence Awards 2012 held by association of developers incorporated in Indonesia Real Estate (FIABCI). The announcement was held on Thursday, 6 December 2012 evening in Jakarta. The winners are recommended to participate in international Prix d’ Excellence Award 2013, which will be taken place in Taichung, Taiwan in May 2013. There were 14 categories being contested this year, with more than 70 projects participated in the competition. Nominators for FIABCI Indonesia – BNI Prix d’ Excellence Awards 2012 comprised heritage, sustainable development, hotel, industrial, master plan, office, residential (high rise), residential (low rise), resort, retail, special project, anami, simple home site (rumah sederhana tapak) and simple and healthy flat (rumah susun sederhana sehat). For the result, 17 projects were selected as winners and 16 of them would represent Indonesia to participate in the same competition at the international level. And among them is CitraLand Surabaya, for the category of Master Plan and Residential Low Rise. A year before, in 2011, CitraLand Surabaya won the Sustainable Development category at the international level prix award held in Cyprus. CitraGrand City Palembang’s Year-End Exhibition Palembang – Closing the year of 2012, CitraGrand City held an exhibition with attractive year-end programs for Palembang and the surrounding’s society. The exhibition was held for one week, from 9 to 16 December and took place at the main atrium of Palembang Indah Mall. It was set with chistmas atmosphere by putting christmas tree with all the decorations and green vine leaves also graced the partition at the exhibition. The Smurfs Brought Joy at Ciputra World Surabaya Surabaya – Pampering all the family members to welcome christmas and new year, Ciputra World Surabaya (CWS) presented comic characters created by Peyo, a Belgium writer, which are very popular among people at all ages, The Smurfs. Packed in a program called A Most Smurfastic Day, Papa Smurf and Clumsy greeted their fans at Oval Atrium CWS from 15 to 30 December 2012. Brought directly from Belgium, the cheerful attractions of Papa Smurf and Clumsy in “The Smurfs Live on Stage” can be enjoyed freely every Thursday to Friday at 4.00 p.m. to 07.00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday at 2.00 p.m., 04.00 p.m. and 07.00 p.m. For visitors who want to interact directly and take pictures with The Smurfs on the stage can join meet and greet freely by shopping at all tenants’ counter or bazaar area with a minimum amount of Rp 500,000 and registering to the event committee. Various competitions during the holidays were also held to develop kids’ creativity. There were colouring competition held on 15 December at 10.00 a.m., talent competition on 21 December with final round on 23 December and drawing competition on 29 December at 10.30. “This live show of duo Smurfs is the first time in the world, so absolutely, the attractions of Papa Smurf and Clumsy will be very fresh and entertaining”, said Ms. Stephana Fevriera, Promotion Coordinator of CWS. If missed the Smurf’s stage attraction, visitors might take pictures at The Smurf’s photo corner brought by Beyond Potrait. Christmas performances from Benih Kasih School, Masa Depan Cerah School, Buah Hati – Cita Hati Christian School (Ryan and Janice IMB), Bumble Bee School, IM Music School, Rainbow Music School, Rhapsody Music School, IFGF Church, Pondok Kasih Orphanage and Marlupi Dance Academy were also presented during that period of time. And also, don’t miss A Glamorous Gypsy Night to enliven new year eve.” Events at CitraSun Garden Semarang Semarang – CitraSun Garden held its ninth exhibition in year 2012 from 11 to 23 December 2012. This time it took place at Paragon Mall and year end was chosen as it was the time of long holiday, so it could attract customers from outside Semarang. Prospect from this exhibition was quite good, with a database addition of about 300 entries. At the same time, an open house was also held to bring customers from the exhibition in Paragon Mall direct to the residential site. CitraSun Garden introduced new cluster, namely Ruby Hill and this is the third cluster at CitraSun Garden. Programs for kids were held, such as cupcake decoration, hand bell, kids modelling and others. The year-end marketing program in this event resulted in the large number of visitors and several booking fees recorded. Ciputra Mall Jakarta Presented Christmas in Rabbit Island Jakarta – To celebrate christmas this year, Ciputra Mall held an event with the theme of Christmas in Rabbit Island, from 7 December 2012 to 6 January 2013 at Lower Ground’s Center Court. The event was about a family of rabbit who left its village due to catastrophic drought and famine. They ended up in a very beautiful island, called Rabbit Island and were warm-welcomed by hundreds of rabbits living there. The rabbit family then helped to prepare the Christmas celebration in Rabbit Island. The event was enlivened with the appearance of Cherry Belle Girl Band, singer Citra Scholastika, singer Inna Kamarie, choir festival and others. The most interesting program in this event was I Care Challenge program, which invited all the visitors to raise up spirit of care by doing good things to others. It could be done by giving others gifts bought at Ciputra Mall Jakarta. A number of 39 media reported this event on the opening day. This was about 50% from total media invited. Christmas in City of Santa by CitraGarden City Jakarta Jakarta – At the end of year 2012, promotion and marketing team of CitraGarden City hosted an event with the theme of Christmas in City of Santa at Citra 6 Marketing Office. And following the theme, a stage completed with various christmas ornaments was set up. Not only the stage, there were also Santa Claus and Piet Hitam, who gave away presents to participating children. A chance to take picture with Santa Clause was also given to visitors. There were several competitions in this event, such as decorating with christmas ornaments, singing hymns or spiritual songs, reading christmas tales and so on. The program was very well organized. At the end of the day, many of adults and children gathered together and took pictures with Santa. New Projects Vida View Apartment Makassar – PT Ciputra Development Tbk, through the subsidiary, PT Ciputra Graha Mitra together with Galesong Group launched an exclusive modern high-rise residential at Panakkukang Mas (Ex-Fashion Park) area. The residential, namely Vida View Apartment was marketed and constructed this December and was predicted to be fully completed in 2015. Located strategically on Jalan Topaz at Panakkukang city center, Vida View Apartment was very close to Panakkukang Mall, and has easy access to all part of activity center of Makassar city, especially Hasanuddin airport and Makassar harbour. Initiating the launch of Vida View Apartment, a gathering for brokerage was held in September. Located in ballroom of Swisbellin Hotel Makassar, the gathering was attended by property brokerages and banks’ representatives which provide mortgages for the apartment. The program was aimed to give introduction as well as explanation regarding product knowledge of Vida View Apartment, as this would become material for brokerages to market the apartment. During the event, they also invited Mr. Haryanto Kandani, a motivator, to give encouragement to those who are invited. And from end of September, prospective buyers could start giving booking fee. Apart from cash payment, payment can be through mortgages provided by participating banks and short-term instalment to us. CitraDream Hotel Cirebon Cirebon – On 12 December 2012, PT Ciputra Property Tbk, through its subsidiary, PT Ciputra Ayutapradana held ground breaking for its first budget hotel, CitraDream. It is located in Cirebon, on Jl. Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo, one of strategic roads in the city centre of Cirebon. The development of tourism industry in Indonesia, including West Java becomes more and more promising every year. That’s why it is needed to add various infrastructures that can accommodate the industry’s development. The raise of the budget airlines concept also results in the more convenience travelling for people. Government, in the recent Keraton Cirebon’s Performing Arts and Culture (Gelar Seni Budaya Keraton Cirebon), however, has already set-up budget for palaces (keraton) in Cirebon as a stimulus for tourism development in the particular area. And to anticipate and support this plan, we intend to participate by providing budget hotels that are affordable for every class of tourists. “We see this opportunity and try to enter the tourism market, both domestic and international, who intend to travel but with limited budget”, said Mr. Cakra Ciputra, Director of PT Ciputra Ayutapradana. He also added, “We plan to build 20 CitraDream Hotels throughout Indonesia in these 2 years. At the moment, we are doing the preparation for developing hotels in cities such as Semarang, Bandung, Yogyakarta, Banjarmasin, Bengkulu, as well as Serpong and Bintaro for Jabodetabek area. CitraDream Hotel Cirebon, which carries an international standard, modern and affordable for domestic as well as international markets will have a total investment of around Rp 47 billion for the development, and it is predicted to be fully completed at end of 2013.” CitraDream Hotel Cirebon will be constructed on an area of around 1,600 sqm. It will consist of 8 floors with 121 rooms and will be equipped with 2 meeting rooms which can be combined into one. Meanwhile, on the opening of the hotel, Average Room Rate (ARR) will be about Rp 400,000. The rate is quite competitive compared to the rate of existing budget hotels now. “We target our occupancy rate in the first year at about 70%,” said Mr. Megahwira, project manager of PT Ciputra Ayutaprdana. He then added, “We hope by developing budget hotels throughout Indonesia, at the end we can participate in increasing the number of tourists, both local and international, by offering more alternatives on staying places with affordable price.”
