Facilitate access, use and flow of biodiversity spatial information between all the stakeholders. About BIODIVERSITY Introduce conservation approaches in the management and use of the territory. Go beyond administrative frontiers in the biodiversity management. Enhance the natural patrimony and existing information knowledge. www.biodiversidad.navarra.es Project Goals About ORGANIZATION Promote a unique model: basic, integrated, updated and georreferenced including all the issues regarding biodiversity. Incorporate tools for detect gaps, contradictions and errors not only about information but also about management. Create an experts and collaborators network that promotes the initiative in a participative way. Collaborate with other National and European initiatives for standards and Good Practises creation. www.biodiversidad.navarra.es information is a problem ... management is more complicated Sites management is “conditioned by” and it’s “condition to”: 1.- Their own Management Policies 2.- Habitats Management Policies 3.- Species Management Policies 4.- Other Management Policies: Forest Planning, Urban Planning Habitats management is “conditioned by” and it’s “condition to”: 1.- Their own Management Policies 2.- Sites Management Policies 3.- Species Management Policies 4.- Other Management Policies: Infrastructures, Urban Planning Species management is “conditioned by” and it’s “condition to”: 1.- Their own Management Policies 2.- Habitats Management Policies 3.- Sites Management Policies 4.- Other Projects and Management Policies www.biodiversidad.navarra.es The solution: an Infrastructure BUILD BY ALL: Public Administration, divulgators, teachers, investigators, techniques, forest ranger, conservationist associations, consulting, etc. FOR ALL: Satisfying in a personalized and scalable way several technical and management requirements, answering citizens knowledge demands with GEOGRAPHICAL component with METADATA with technical, semantic and organizational INTEROPERABILITY www.biodiversidad.navarra.es Work-flow: triangulation From SPECIES, we access to habitats and/or sites information OTHER INTERESTING INFORMATION FROM SDI: .
