Other features such as our on-line Customer Service, the “Olmar Compact Equipments” or the ability of our autoclaves to overcome the most demanding tests and certifications from the automobile or aeronautics industries (Airbus Military, Boeing, etc.) have turned out Group into a reference at international level. These autoclaves can be manufactured in different materials, the use of carbon steels and austenitic stainless steels being usual, under internationally known codes ASME, AD-MERKBLÄTTER, CODAP, PD 5500, etc. in order to supply the equipment according to the rules that may be requested by our customers and that, therefore, are determined in any country in the world. To this purpose, OLMAR autoclaves are CE-certified, according to the Directive 97/23/EC relating to pressure devices and duly proven by EU-notified entities. Our equipments are manufactured according to the measures required by our customers, with diameters up to eight meters and lengths that nowadays have reached fifty meters. The constant evolution of markets and, in connection with them, the launch of new materials, has combined a set of measures aimed at the advanced industrial equipments which nowadays have undergone a really surprising progression in their technological level. To this purpose, the composite materials have registered a complete upturn in the construction of equipments and their key pieces. Their treatment and the interaction with each other have led to the need to use equipments with a technological level unthinkable a few years ago. From the automobile industry, where windscreens made up of laminated glass and polyvinyl butyral resins (PVB) are installed, until the prepreg curing in the aeronautics industry, there are clear examples of the technology that nowadays the 21st century’s industries are using and that everyday becomes more and more consolidated. Facing up to this deep transformation and applying its over 60 years of experience in the field of pressure vessels, INDUSTRIAL OLMAR, S.A. has come to manufacture autoclaves that, devoted to these types of industries, contain the most important technological advances. The consolidation of the abovemen-tioned compounds, according to each case and each type of industry, is achieved by means of air that is heated inside the equipment, either by means of electrical resistors or steam and/or thermal oil through an exchanger. A powerful electric fan sets the indoor air in motion, and the forced circulation allows temperature values to be obtained inside the equipment with minimum changes between some points and others. The cooling process is achieved by means of circulating cold water, or cooling fluids, through an exchanger designed to this purpose, that allows, through forced air circulation between its plates, the equipment indoor temperature to be reduced up to the required values. At this point, it is very important to point out that our equipments have inwardly independent connections for a different number of vacuum bags to put into the autoclave. This one, together with the supply of compressed air and/or nitrogen inside the autoclave to control the pressure as required by the product to treat, allows the equipment to be fully autonomous in order to control the required pressure / vacuum degree. Similarly, these variables are controlled by means of thermocouples and pressure sensors at different points of the autoclave and of the parts built-in into it. The whole abovementioned process with different cycle changes or repetitions, according to the industry in question and the process to carry out, is carried out in a fully automatic way. A microprocessor receives the information that the data picking devices transmit to it during the cycle and then it sends immediately commands to the relevant valves and actuators in order to control the process according to the previously adjusted set-points. We could include inner product sensors which will allow us to know in real time during the process the pressure vacuum and/or temperature values of the product being treated at that time. As expected, if during the process any malfunction takes place, the equipment sends immediately the relevant alarm o f a possible failure in the system or in the supply of fluids, with the aim of acting immediately in order to correct the problem. Likewise, in our workshops all k ind of vessels and accessories are manufactured that can be considered complementary to the process facility, such as product containers, special grills, coils, inner supports, hydraulic platforms for inserting the product, etc. So in this way we carry out turnkey plants, including the fully supply of machines, their automation and accessories and the final commissioning. Don’t forget our after-sales technical team that will attend in a record time any type of supply, maintenance or unforeseen event that could arise during the operating time of the various equipments, certifying in this way a complete assistance to our customers, from the first initial contact for the subsequent manufacture until a constant assistance during the facility operating life.
