To Our Valued Stakeholders and Friends, I am pleased to share that 2014 was a year filled with progress as Olive Crest works toward its goal of serving 100,000 children and families by 2020. Over the last year, Olive Crest has continued to deliver profound and effective solutions for children and families in crisis while strengthening our continuum of care throughout California, Nevada, and the Pacific Northwest. In 2014, our supporters and employees made it possible for Olive Crest to: •Help more children and families than in any other previous year in our history while upholding the principles of service quality set forth by the Council on Accreditation (COA). •Continue to exceed outcome goals for our programs while surpassing national standards on safety, well-being, stability, and permanence. •Reach our Vision 2020 mid-term mark by serving 70,000 children since our inception in 1973. •Divert at-risk kids from entering the child welfare system through innovative preventative and community-based programs and services, such as Family Resource Centers and Safe Families for Children. The following pages feature illustrations and insights from Olive Crest youth that show just how your support is helping transform the lives of at-risk children through the healing power of family. I hope you will feel a sense of pride in their successes, knowing that your compassion and generosity have helped these kids thrive.
