Hurray! We can finally spill the beans about all the new things we’ve been
working on these past many months. Admittedly we are slow, but in a good
way. We’re happy plodding along but getting it right — we are the tortoise, not
the hare. We’re also the first to admit our beds aren’t cheap but we’re not in the
business of making disposable products. We put a great deal of thought into
what we do & how we do it & relish in every chance we get to learn from our
customers (you!) on ways we can improve, so thank you… without you we

Why Choose Snooza
Our products are meant to last. It does not make
us happy if you need to replace your bed on a
regular basis. Call us silly, but that's the way we do
things. If anything we'd rather it only need the
occasional upgrade or part, but essentially lasts you
many years (of course, you're welcome to have
more than one bed in the house!). For that reason
we make available to purchase separately just
about every individual component of your Snooza
bed, from the cover to the filling. Our range also
incorporates separate zippered inners & removable
covers to ensure easy washing, even with the
largest size beds.
Whilst we cannot guarantee against the damage
pets can cause, we do offer a Free Repair Service
in an effort to extend the life of our products. Rani
has been with us for over 15 years & works hard to
make sure your pet's bed (or what's left of it) is still
usable. To help us make sure she doesn't leave us,
please clean your bed before sending it back to us
for repair. Replacement parts, if required, will be
charged at a minimal cost.

product, you can… without feeling guilty. Send your
Snooza product back to us, we’ll fix it up so it’s
usable again & donate it to animals in need.

We manufacture, so we make waste (not
something we’re proud of). But what we are proud
of are the ways in which we minimise or deal with
the waste we create. We have dedicated bins for
paper, plastic & steel — even the lunch scraps go
to our worm farm. Our fabric scraps are often
donated to local schools, art groups or
reincorporated into Snooza toys (pg. 35) & our
distributors happily participate in our bond system
which enables us to reuse many of our packing
materials.
Our most recent initiative has involved a rethink of
our smaller product packaging. Our new bags use
far less plastic & are sealed in a way that makes
them reusable.

A guide to choosing
the right “Snooza”
To help you navigate our rather large range, you’ll find these ‘key feature’
symbols throughout our brochure. If you’re still not sure which way to go, give
us a call or send us an email & we should be able to steer you in the right
direction:
Non-slip base
Pretty self-explanatory but beds with this feature are ideal if
you’re planning to use them on wooden or tiled floors.
Suited to outdoors
We’re fans of beds that look good in any environment but
these beds will also cope with some outdoor weather exposure.
Beds in this category that include inners & fibre filling will still
need to be aired regularly to ensure they stay fresh.
Fully machine washable
Whilst almost all of our products are designed with removable
covers & maximum washability, in some instances foam pieces
or parts can only be hand washed or spot cleaned. Products
with this symbol mean EVERY part can go into your machine.
Washable, removable covers
You’ll find this on just about every bed we make.
Our Smart Part (replacement parts) philosophy ensures our
beds are as wash-friendly as possible & enables you to
change your colour scheme/style or refurbish your bed at
any stage without purchasing a whole new product.

Washing a Snooza Bed
Very important for looking good, smelling nice & keeping the fleas away.
We aim to make all of our products as wash friendly as possible &
each product has a washing instructions label attached. Most beds
are designed to fit into a normal washing machine but it is dependant
upon the size & type of your machine. We have found that as the
products get bigger they may be more suited to a laundrette’s ‘doona
washing machine’ & that overall, front loaders are kinder.
Our way of
thinking...
Washing instructions are sewn into every bed but
as flappy tags are often very enticing, we sew
them flat to the fabric so even the most diligent
destroyer should have trouble removing them.
Smart Parts
Our Smart Parts concept was born from our desire to
make our products last as long as humanly possible.
Rather than starting from scratch each time a portion
of your pet’s bed has worn — better (& cheaper!)
to replace only the part that needs replacing.
Smart Parts are available for almost all of our range,
including everything from foam, to bolts, to fluff.

Lavender Warmer
Manufactured using Australian-grown lavender &
wheat, the Lavender Warmer provides a natural way
to keep your pet cosy, or it can simply be used to
keep the fleas away if they don’t need the warmth. With
zippered access to the inner of most of our range, the
benefits are endless. No longer will your pet’s bedding smell
‘woofy’.
Snoozafill®
Our super smart Snoozafill® is a special blend of foam & fibre
specifically designed for pets. It provides the perfect
combination of stability & comfort — soft enough for your
pet to ‘nest’ but firm enough to cushion. With our zippered
cushions & inners you can put as much or as little filling in
your bed as you like, freshen up the filling when it needs it &
washing is a breeze!

Our way of
thinking...
Snooza beds are filled with a very specific amount of
Snoozafill®. Whilst it might seem kinder to buy your pet
the bed with the most fill, please consider that to get the
most warmth, they need to be able to immerse
themselves — it’s no good being perched on top.
Laundry Bag
Separate zippered inners & removable covers should make
washing less of a nightmare but we haven’t stopped there...
our anti-static (so nothing sticks to it!) Snooza Laundry Bag
means you can easily wash the filling (helps keep the fluff
lofty), even with our larger beds. Or, simply use it to wash our
removable covers & stop the hair from taking over your machine. Capable of
handling up to 1kg of Snoozafill® (that’s heaps), any cover or most small to
medium complete beds, inners or cushions, it can be used in the washer or
dryer as per the individual product’s instructions.

Snooza Raised Beds
Our steel frame beds are made to last. Raised approximately 20cm off the
ground, the beds ensure cold air flows under rather than through your pet. The
durable, flexible covers help prevent pressure sores & relieve many hip
complaints & arthritis.
True to our promise of uncompromising quality, our sturdy frames will generally
outlast the covers. So we offer replacement covers for all our raised beds that
are a cinch to fit! You can also mix & match your covers — our Original &

The Original
Snooza Dog Bed
Made to withstand the harshest conditions, this is the bed that
started us in 1989! We use 25.4mm steel tube galvanised on both
sides (so that it won’t rust from the inside out), weld the frame at all
contact points & then hand sew a brand new durable jute cover on it.

favourite ‘lab’ colours. The Multimat® is exactly that,
a fantastic go anywhere multi-purpose mat. We initially
designed it to fit our raised beds, with velcro tabs at each
corner to stop it sliding around but it’s more versatile than that!
Our dogs use it just about anywhere — it makes a super floor
mat, in the car, on holiday. And if it hasn’t got our logo embroidered in the corner

Pet Futon
Probably our most popular product & one we’ve been manufacturing for over
20 years, the Pet Futon offers the ultimate in versatility & comfort for your pet.
Inside a calico cover we put Australian wool blended with polyester to ensure
it’s a breeze to keep clean (it’s machine washable & dry cleanable!). We close
the cover, quilt the Futon to keep the filling in place & then encase it with a
removable, washable pillowslip style cover. Choose from our iconic
ram’s head 100% cotton covers or, for the non-conformists, from
our selection of furs & prints (the same pillowslip design but with
a bit more flair). A spare cover, whichever style you choose, is
always handy so one can be used while the other’s in the wash!

admit this bed is stunning to look at! But it’s what’s inside that makes it unique.
Both the cushion & the outer ring have removable, washable covers & separate
zippered, washable inners. Zippered access to the Snoozafill® means you can

The Lounger
NEW
Originally, we set out to design a
beanbag — a well-loved classic
in need of a dog & environmentally
friendly fill. Much experimentation ensued
involving everything from husks to cornstarch
with sadly, not so great results.
In the process, what did evolve was the
shape (something we weren’t anticipating). Denim
Cleverly, it works every which way
(there is no ‘up’) & can be propped up,
flopped on, sprawled across…

how much stock we place in
the feedback we receive.
Requests have
been for a
walled bed
with a much

stable

suitable
for older
dogs,

Snoozafill
cushions

too slippery.
The centre padded
area of our Bumper Bed is filled with
a thick layer of wadding, creating
just that, while the bolstered
sides add protection & comfort
but are still low profile for easy

Our magnetic therapy bed spent loads of time with our
chosen testers (thanks to all that applied!). With such great feedback we
couldn’t wait to get this on the market & hopefully start relieving a few aches &
pains. In consultation with an accredited magnetic therapist the polarity, shape
& positioning of the magnets has been specifically designed for animals. We
ensured the mat was low profile for easy access but the sizes also suit our
raised beds. The fabulously durable, 600 denier ripstop cover we designed with
as few seams as possible to ensure maximum water resistance
(making it ideal for incontinent dogs) & the optional
elasticised woolly ‘topper’ fits over the existing cover
easily — a great way to add extra warmth.

The Traveller
NEW
The idea behind this product
came from a customer coveting
a fellow dog trainer’s mat.
The mat had handles & could be
sandwiched in half to enable it to be
carried about. We loved the idea, & with a
few improvements, The Traveller was born.
Our version is intentionally more
multi-purpose, with a bit of Snooza style
