I
n these pages we introduce you to a side
of Spain you still haven’t met, a different
Spain. Different due to the authenticity of
the image it displays and the variety of new

These nine routes will guide you through
unexplored lands and lead to authentic people,
where the wine represents a natural way of life
and wher life adjusts itself to the rhythm of
nature. These landscapes are not just unique,
but each is different, with their own colors,
scents and flavors.
The region of the Rias Baixas, in Galicia,
surprises with the shadow of the grapevines,
its albariño and its perfect marriage with the
gastronomy of the sea. To the east, the Rioja
Alavesa owns never-ending grapevine landscapes
and a wide range of wine cellars, from the most
traditional to the most modern. Right next to it,

Product of the scarce rain in Murcia is the Monastrell
grape, a variety that is barely productive but that gives
potent wines, full of expression and violet colors and
with a roundness of shape hard to overcome. Since
the Origin Denomination was created in 1966, and specially since the 90s, the Monastrell grape is giving birth
to a new generation of elegant wines, some ecologic and
most young, with impressive results, making Jumilla
