Icimani Adventure Center is the council’s newest camp property, opened in
the Spring of 2008. Located on Yellow Mountain Road in southwest Roanoke
County, less than 5 miles from the Tanglewood Mall area — only ½ mile off
Rt. 220 in the Clearbrook community.
Situated on 63 acres in the Blue Ridge Mountains, the camp’s overnight facilities
include a very large gymnasium, a small meeting room, platform tents, and camp
sites. The largest facility is the main building’s gym/arena, which can handle
large events for up to 300 participants. A camp site manager lives onsite within
the main building.

Camp Sacajawea is located near the James River on a beautifully wooded site.
The camp is situated in Bedford County, yet right near the Lynchburg City limits.
It is within the community of Boonsboro.
Camp Sugar Hollow is a 60-acre site nestled at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains in
Crozet, near the Charlottesville area. It is within hiking distance of the Sugar Hollow
Reservoir, the Appalachian Trail, and the Skyline Drive.
Located on 119 acres in the Blue Ridge Mountains, the camp’s overnight facilities
include a lodge with loft sleeping, bunkhouses, and platform tent units. The largest
facility is Gay Lodge, which sleeps up to 20 people and can hold 24+ people for events.
A camp site manager lives onsite near the entrance to camp.
The camp’s overnight facilities include two lodges, two platform tent units, one unit of
cabins, and a primitive camp site. The largest facility is the Running Creek Platform
Tent Unit, which can handle 30 people overnight. No staff lives onsite.
