CANDLE GAZING TO ENHANCE YOUR
PSYCHIC ABILITIES
Candle Gazing is fun but there are a
number of common sense precautions
that must be understood and put into
practice before you start.Always be
as careful as possible when working
with matches and fire – you must take
all necessary precautions. Make sure
to place any candle to be burned in a
stable, fireproof holder that you place
safely, in a well-ventilated area, so that its flame cannot be touched
accidentally or knocked over by anything, including the wind.
Never
place a candle anywhere where it is near combustible materials such
as, but not limited to, paper or curtains.Never, ever, leave a candle or
incense unattended for any reason, not even for a second.
Find a quiet place, free of disturbances – people, phones, pets, fans, or
air conditioners—that might disturb the flame.
You may use soft background music. Wear clothing that is comfortable but not loose enough
to accidentally touch the candle’s flame.
We prefer large thick candles that are stable, hard to knock over, and
last for hours.
On a relaxing evening, when you sit gazing half dreamily into the
glowing heart of a candle and watching the vague shapes made as the
flame flickers, try to see these indefinite pictures more clearly and to
interpret them as symbols of what is coming to you in the near future.
Sit in a relatively comfortable chair with the candle approximately an
arm’s length distance in front of you – perhaps at a kitchen table.You
could also place the candle on a coffee table then sit on the floor – if
you are able to do so without discomfort.Clear and focus your mind
on nothing in particular, just keep it open to the symbols as they pass
through the flickering flame.Empty all thoughts and gaze upon the
flame and be open to psychic messages that transpire.
This can be a method of self-hypnosis.You can state your intention
before you begin focusing on the flame of the candle – such as –

“I want to see myself in a past life that links to this one.”Now gaze at
the flame. Look at the flame. Breathe deeply and evenly, in through
the nose and slowly out through your mouth.As you look at the flame,
you can see that it is actually made of the colors of the rainbow.
Subtle shades of red glow at the very tip of the flame.Your passion,
your physical body are being left behind, as a faint reminder of who
you are. The orange that follows spans a short time on the flame.
As you watch your flame/spirit, let the violet part of the flame enlarge
and envelop the blue, green, yellow, orange and red of the fire.
Let
your spirit enlarge to fill you in the same way.As you inhale, feel your
spirit fill you with the light of the candle. Imagine that you are breathing in the beautiful colors of the flame.
It may happen that however long you gaze into the flame, you can
see nothing clearly, but only vague shapes that convey no meaning
to you. When this occurs, you may know that your life is in a state of
flux at the moment and the future is too vague to be seen. This is not
necessarily unfavorable, but only shows that changes are taking place,
which, so to speak, muddle the picture. Try again in a few days and
you will probably get clearer results. Do not do candle gazing for more
than five minutes on any one occasion.
Make sure to thoroughly and completely extinguish your candle and
any incense before you get up from your candle gazing session.
