ALL GIRLS CRICKET COMPETITION 2015/2016
ALL GIRLS CRICKET COMPETITION 2015/2016 Sponsored by: FAQs and other information The All Girls Cricket Competition is back, BIGGER AND BETTER, for the 2015/2016 season. Contact your local participating cricket club (see list over the page) to find out how you can join an all girls team and improve your skills, stay active and enjoy a fun summer of cricket and camaraderie. Ambassador of the Competition: Emma Inglis VicSpirit (Victorian Women’s Team) Background to the Spartan All Girls Cricket Competition The competition was first launched in 2013 for girls who may have come through the Milo in2Cricket and T20Blast programs or had an interest in cricket, to play in junior games. Previously the only path to junior cricket had been to join in a mixed underage competition, generally playing with boys. The All Girls Cricket Competition has proven a very popular option for girls to play with and against other girls, while still having the option of participating in a mixed team. General AGCC enquiries are welcomed and can be made to AGCC Committee Secretary, Libby Nicholls: 0438 228 806, allgirlscricket@gmail.com QUESTIONS ANSWERS How old do I need to be The All Girls Cricket Competition has two age groups -‐ 13 & Under (Wednesday to play? games) and 16 & Under (Sunday games).
