Pursuant to the California Paint Stewardship Law ( California Public Resources Code §§ 48700- 48706), PaintCare will arrange for the post -collection transportation and recycling/ disposal of program products that Burrtec collects from the public at the JPA' s site The JPA should experience a reduction in its overall costs as a result of the post -collection paint management activities that will be funded through the PaintCare program and would otherwise need to be funded by the JPA.
