One ladder is just like another? Not in Telesteps’ world. Since we started up in 1996
we have always seen things a little differently, and this has brought us to a leading
position in the market. Differently means that we have managed to combine the
flexible telescopic operation of our ladders and platforms with excellent safety and
durability. Nobody else has been so successful in this. Our products may look
unassuming at first sight, but in a way, that’s just the point. We promise they will
grow with the job.

THE ORIGINAL
You will find many different telescopic ladders on the market,
but only one brand can claim to be the original.
We call ourselves that because Telesteps® was the first to
launch a product that changed the market overnight. And as
the original, we have by far the longest and broadest experience when it comes to making a secure quality ladder.
We are proud of our culture, where we never compromise on
safety or quality and ensure that every component we use has
been tested both individually and as part of a functioning unit
before delivery. Of course it can be flattering when others
attempt to copy our patented solutions. The problem is that
it is never more than an attempt. In this case, the original
has been tested and certified under all the relevant norms by
independent third parties.
TELESTEPS®
Telesteps® was founded in 1996 and is a separate division
within the international manufacturing group Gunnebo, with
around 1,000 employees and a turnover of approx. SEK 1.6
billion. Design, product development and quality control take
place at our headquarters in Tranås. The products reach
satisfied customers through distributors and resellers in 25
countries.
THE SIMPLER,
THE SAFER
Simplicity and flexibility by all means, but we put safety first. The
telescopic ladder is easy to pull out to the desired length and securing it before use is just as quick. When the red locking catches
have unfolded under each rung, this indicates that the ladder is
ready for use and can handle loads of up to 150 kg.
There is also safety in always having a ladder the right length for
the job. It stands firmly thanks to rubber feet that optimise friction
with the ground, and you can adjust the length to maintain the
correct angle with the wall. The ladders and platforms are made
of durable aluminium with hard-wearing glass fibre reinforced
plastic fittings. We assemble the ladders by hand and test them all
individually before delivery. Our equipment is certified according to
EN 131 and approved by SP and TÜV.

We have always been convinced that the best
ladder is both short and long. Those who
regularly use a ladder at work will surely agree.
Because before and after work, the ladder often
needs to be transported, carried into lifts or up
stairs. In those scenarios it is a huge advantage
if it can be pushed together easily and be made
significantly smaller. We also know that there
are many things that must count when our products are to be used day in day out. Safety will
always come first and we use high-strength
material and ensure the products undergo
stringent tests. In the PRO category the
professional user will find more work features
in the form of stable working platforms and
smart combination ladders.

TELESTEPS HOME
A home user can find themselves in many different situations and
the tool may vary from one time to another depending on what
they are doing. But as soon as it is a case of working at a height,
there is one thing that is hard to manage without – a reliable
ladder. Telesteps® ladders in the Home category have been
developed to make all home work as safe and smooth as possible.
They are easy to extend to their desired height and can be stored
in their closed position without taking up much space.

HOW TO USE A TELESTEPS

BLUE LINE

pressing the two red buttons at the front.
Telesteps ladders are equipped with the
Autosteps™ function which makes the
ladder incredibly easy to use. This function
allows the ladder to be pushed together
automatically.

You must decide before pulling out the
ladder how tall you want it to be. If it is at
the wrong length after you have pulled it
out, you must start again, i.e. press the two
red buttons to push together the ladder.
The steps which will not be used must be at
the top, as shown in the image.

Safe, functional and easy to take with you – Telesteps PRO does not compromise on
anything. Telesteps PRO is perfect for all sorts of professional work. The ladder is
small and compact for storage and transportation. The triangular tube design makes
the ladder strong and torsionally rigid and it is easy to push together. Pinching safety
device, rubber top support, angled and grooved steps also mean that you can feel
safe at all times.

COMBINATION LADDERS
As the name suggests, a combination ladder can be used in more than one way. When
both sides are opened out, it makes a stable free-standing stepladder. With a few simple
movements it can then be turned into a leaning ladder to stand against a wall, for example.
Extra wide 90 mm treads, small and compact with built-in handle. To push together a
combination ladder, just push in the four red buttons on the second tread from the
bottom and you can slide the whole ladder together.

work across slightly larger areas at the same time. With Telesteps working platform
the height can be adjusted at three different levels without sacrificing stability and
safety. Some of the advantages of your purchase are that it is quick to push together,
easy to carry, and takes up little space. It also has a built-in handle so you can easily
carry it away. And just like our ladders, it is manufactured in high-strength aluminium
that will cope with tough challenges.

Large loft hatches and a ladder that takes up a lot of space are often a necessary evil
to be able to access the loft. This does not hold true for a loft ladder from Telesteps.

Measure installation area
Telesteps adjustable loft ladder is suitable for a higher
ceiling height and larger loft openings than the smaller
version. The loft ladder is stored completely in the loft
opening in its closed position.
For the adjustable model, the lowest measurement of
the loft opening depends on the installed ladder length.
The measurement can be read in the table to the right.

HANDLING AND
MAINTENANCE
The telescopic ladder is expanded out easily with a handle
and securing the ladder before use is just as quick. When
the red locking catches have been opened under each
step, this signals that the ladder is ready for use and can
manage loads of up to 150 kg. The most common
cause of accidents with a ladder is due to the ladder
sliding away from the surface. To avoid this it is very
important that the ladder is stable and is used at the
correct angle (75 degrees). In their closed positions,
our products are easy and flexible to transport.
Also make sure that the ladder is kept clean for
optimal functionality.
And if, for some reason, something breaks,
help is at hand in the form of support and
spare parts. You don’t want to be without
your trusty workmate more than absolutely
necessary.
