In a lucid dream, you “awaken” within your dream and realize you are dreaming. With
this extraordinary sense of awakening comes a clear perception of the continuity of
self between waking and sleeping and the ability to significantly influence what happens within the dream, giving you the opportunity to genuinely experience anything
without physical or social consequences. In this way, lucid dreaming offers therapeutic
opportunities for fantasy fulfillment, fear confrontation, and releasing the trauma
of past experiences. With development and practice, lucid dreaming can provide a
powerful path to greater awareness, heightened creativity, spiritual awakening, and
communication with the vast interconnected web of cosmic consciousness.
In this detailed guide to mastering the practice of lucid dreaming, David Jay Brown
draws from his more than 20 years’ experience using these techniques and his interactions with dozens of experts on consciousness, physics, dreaming, and entheogens,
such as Stanley Krippner, Rupert Sheldrake, Stephen LaBerge, Robert Waggoner,
Dean Radin, Terence McKenna, and many others. He explores the intimate relationship between lucid dreaming, shamanic journeying, visionary plants, and psychedelic
drugs and how they are used for healing and spiritual development. Offering methods
for improving both lucid dreaming and shamanic journeying abilities, he explains how
to enhance dreaming with oneirogens, supplements, herbs, and psychedelics and offers
techniques for developing superpowers in the dream realm.
Summarizing the scientific research on lucid dreaming, Brown explores the ability
of lucid dreamers to communicate with people in the waking realm and the potential for dream telepathy, shared lucid dreaming, and access to the vast unconscious
regions of our minds, opening up a path that takes us beyond dreaming and waking
to dreaming wide awake.
David Jay Brown holds a master’s degree in psychobiology from New York University.

Psychedelic Marine
A Transformational Journey from Afghanistan to the Amazon
ALEX SEYMOUR
A vivid portrait of both the traumas of war and the shamanic healing
ceremonies of ayahuasca
• Explains how our culture lacks rites of passage and how shamanic ritual can
fill this gap
• Reveals how ayahuasca frees your consciousness from inherited beliefs, fears, and
traumatic experience, allowing healing from PTSD, alcoholism, and addiction
• Details the author’s experiences in Afghanistan, sailing on the Amazon river with a
shaman, and the many ayahuasca ceremonies he experienced in the jungle
After returning from a tour of duty during the war in Afghanistan, Alex Seymour needed a way to cope with the extremes he experienced as a member of the Royal Marine
Commandos, losing 7 men in his unit, and having his best friend critically injured by
a Taliban bomb. Drawing upon his pre-deployment experiences with DMT and psilocybin mushrooms, Alex knew that entheogens could help him release his fears and
traumas. But he also knew that simply taking psychedelics wasn’t enough—he needed
ceremony, something sacred to draw meaning from his experiences, to help him reassess not only the war and his role in it, but his entire life. So he set out for the Amazon
in search of the hallucinogenic brew known as ayahuasca and a shaman to guide him.
Alex soon finds himself deep within the jungle on an incredible adventure, sailing
on the Amazon river with an ayahuasca shaman and his troop of 8 female shamanas,
whose ethereal songs help guide participants during the nightly ayahuasca ceremonies.
Accompanied by others seeking wisdom and a redemptive experience from their First
World professional lives, Alex finds his core beliefs fundamentally challenged, replaced
by the power of direct experience of the sacred, which allows him to release his fears
from the war and set an inspiring path for the future.
Painting a vivid portrait of both the anguish of war and the transcendent world
of shamanic ritual, the author shows how young people often enlist in the military
to satisfy our human need for a rite of passage into adulthood, a ritual sorely missing
in our culture. He explores how ayahuasca can offer a way to help soldiers prepare
for war and help combat veterans heal from war and overcome PTSD—as well as
alcoholism and addiction. From Afghanistan to the Amazon, the author shows how
ayahuasca frees your consciousness from inherited beliefs and fears, offering a truly
transformative rite of passage.

The Golden Number, or Phi (Φ), is a geometric ratio found throughout nature, often
underlying the dimensions of objects considered especially beautiful. Simplified as 1.618
and symbolized by the Fibonacci sequence, the Golden Number represents the unique
relationship within an object where the ratio of a larger part to a smaller part is the same
as the ratio of the whole to the larger part. It appears in the proportions of the human
face and body as well as in the proportions of animals, plants, and celestial bodies.
Called the divine proportion by the monk Fra Luca Pacioli, whose book on the subject
was illustrated by Leonardo da Vinci, Phi’s use in art and architecture goes back at least
to the mystical mathematics of Pythagoras and his followers in the sixth century BCE.
The perfect synthesis of spiritual and material, it can be found in the measurements of
the sacred temples of Egypt, Ancient Greece, and Medieval and Renaissance Europe.
Presenting Matila Ghyka’s classic treatise on the Golden Number for the first time in
English, this book reveals the many ways this ratio can be found not only in the organic
forms of nature—such as in the spirals of shells or the number of petals on a flower—but
also in the most beautiful and highest creations of humanity. One of the most important concepts of sacred geometry, its mysteries were passed down in an unbroken line of
transmission from the Pythagorean brotherhoods through the medieval builders’ guilds
to the secret societies of 18th-century Europe. Ghyka shows how the secrets of this divine
proportion were not sought merely for their value in architecture, painting, and music,
but also as a portal to a deeper understanding of the spiritual nature of beauty and the
hidden harmonies that connect the whole of creation.
Prince Matila Costiesco Ghyka (1881–1965) was a Romanian mathematician, historian, philosopher, and diplomat, who served as the Plenipotentiary Minister in the United Kingdom
during the late 1930s. He was also a visiting professor of aesthetics at the University of
Southern California and at the Mary Washington College in Virginia. His previous books
in English include The Geometry of Art and Life and an autobiography, The World Mine
Oyster. Though his prolific literary output includes fiction, poetry, and philosophy, the
overarching concern of his work was a synthesis of higher mathematics and the arts.

The Secret Life of
Lady Liberty
Goddess in the New World
ROBERT HIERONIMUS, Ph.D., and LAURA E. CORTNER
The goddess origins of the Statue of Liberty and her connections with the
founding and the future of America
• Examines Lady Liberty’s ties to Native American spiritual traditions, the Earth
Mother, Roman goddesses, Black Madonnas, and Mary Magdalene
• Reveals the sharp contrast between depicting “liberty” as a female and the reality
of women and other suppressed classes even today
• Explains how this Goddess of the New World inspires all people toward equality,
compassion, peace-keeping, and environmental stewardship
Uncovering the forgotten lineage of the Statue of Liberty, Bob Hieronimus and Laura
Cortner explain how she is based on a female symbol representing America on the earliest maps of the continent in the form of a Native American “Queen.” The image of a
woman symbolizing independence was embraced by the American revolutionaries to
rally the populace against the King, filling the role of “Founding Mother” and protector
of the fledgling republic. Incorporating Libertas, the Roman goddess of freed slaves, with
Minerva, Demeter, Justice, and the Indian Princess, Lady Liberty is seen all over the
nation’s capital, and on the seals and flags of many states.
Showing how a new appreciation for the Statue of Liberty as the American goddess can
serve as a unifying inspiration for activism, the authors explore how this Lady Liberty is a
personification of America and its destiny. They examine multiple traditions that influenced her symbolism, from the Neolithic Earth Mother, to Mary Magdalene, Columbia,
and Joan of Arc, while revealing the sharp contrast between depicting “liberty” as a
female and the reality of women and other suppressed classes throughout history. Their
study of “Liberty Enlightening the World” led them to conclude that the empowerment
of contemporary women is essential for achieving sustainable liberty for all.
Sounding the call for this “Goddess of the New World” to inspire us all toward peacekeeping, nurturing, compassion, and environmental stewardship, the authors explain how
the Statue of Liberty serves as the conscience of our nation and is a symbol of both the
myths that unite us and the diversity that strengthens us.
Robert Hieronimus, Ph.D., is an internationally known historian, visual artist, and radio
host and has appeared on History, Discovery, BBC, and National Geographic. The host
of 21st Century Radio, he lives in Maryland. Laura E. Cortner has co-authored previous
titles with Robert Hieronimus including Founding Fathers, Secret Societies and United

FATE Magazine, and several Beatles publications. She is the director of the Ruscombe
Mansion Community Health Center and lives in Maryland.

Shamanism is humanity’s oldest spiritual tradition. In much of the Western world,
the indigenous pre-Christian spiritual practices have been lost. Yet at the northern
fringes of Europe, Christianity did not displace the original shamanic practices until
the end of the Viking age. Remnants of Norse shamanic spirituality have survived in
myths, folk traditions, and written records from Iceland, providing many clues about
the ancient European shaman’s world, especially when examined in conjunction with
other shamanic cultures in northern Eurasia, such as the Sami and the tribes of Siberia.
Reconstructing the shamanic practices of the hunter-gatherers of Scandinavia, Evelyn
Rysdyk explores the evolution of Norse shamanism from its earliest female roots to the
pre-Christian Viking Age. She explains how to enter Yggdrasil, the World Tree, to travel
to other realms and provides shamanic journeys to connect with the ancestral shamans
of your family tree, including the Norse goddess Freyja, the very first shaman. She offers
exercises to connect with the ancient goddesses of fate, the Norns, and introduces the
overnight wilderness quest of útiseta for reconnecting with the powers of nature. She
explains the key concepts of Ørlög and Wyrd—the two most powerful forces that shape
human lives—and provides exercises for letting go of harmful behavior patterns and
transforming simple knowledge into profound wisdom by connecting with Óðinn.
Thoroughly examining the shamanic rituals of seiðr, the oracular magic of the Nordic
cultures, the author provides step-by-step instructions to prepare for and conduct a seiðr
ceremony, including creating your own seiðr staff and hood, and explores the ancestral
use of shamanic songs or varðlokur to accompany the ceremony. Woven throughout
these exercises, Rysdyk provides archaeological evidence from Neolithic sites supporting the long tradition of venerating wise women, grandmothers, and mothers in ancient
cultures and the important role of female shamans at the heart of northern European
shamanism. Providing an accessible guide for anyone trying to fulfill their shamanic
callings, these powerful rituals can provide personal healing and a clear path for finding
our way into a harmonious relationship with the natural world.
Evelyn C. Rysdyk is a nationally recognized shamanic healer, teacher, speaker, and
author of Spirit Walking, Modern Shamanic Living, and A Spirit Walker’s Guide to
Shamanic Tools. A founding practitioner of True North, an integrated medical center in Falmouth, Maine, she is also a founding member of the Society for Shamanic
Practitioners. She lives in Yarmouth, Maine.

A Traveler’s Guide to the
Afterlife
Traditions and Beliefs on Death, Dying, and What Lies Beyond
MARK MIRABELLO, Ph.D.
A grand survey of the world’s death and afterlife traditions throughout history
• Examines beliefs from many different cultures on the soul, heaven, hell, and
reincarnation; instructions for accessing the different worlds of the afterlife; how one
may become a god; and how ethics and the afterlife may not be connected
• Explores techniques to communicate with the dead, including séance instructions
• Includes an extensive bibliography of more than 900 sources from around the world
Drawing on death and afterlife traditions from cultures around the world, Mark Mirabello
explores the many forms of existence beyond death and each tradition’s instructions to
access the afterlife. He examines beliefs on the soul, heaven, hell, and reincarnation and
wisdom from Books of the Dead such as the Book of Going Forth by Day from Egypt, the
Katha Upanishad from India, the Bardo Thodol from Tibet, the Golden Orphic Tablets
from Greece, Lieh Tzu from China, and Heaven and its Wonders and Hell from Things
Heard and Seen from 18th-century Europe.
Considering the question “What is Death?” Mirabello provides answers from a wide range
of ancient and modern thinkers, including scientist Nicholas Maxwell, the seer Emanuel
Swedenborg, 1st-century Buddhist philosopher Nagarjuna, and Greek philosopher Euripides,
who opined that we may already be dead and only dreaming we are alive. He explores the
trek of the soul through life and death with firsthand accounts of the death journey and
notes that what is perceived as death here may actually be life somewhere else. He reveals
how, in many traditions, ethics and the afterlife are not connected and how an afterlife is
possible even without a god or a soul. Sharing evidence that consciousness is not simply a
product of the brain, he offers a strong rebuttal to nihilists, materialists, and the Lokayata
philosophical school of India who believe in the “finality” of death. He explains how specters and ghosts are produced and offers techniques to communicate with the dead as well as
instructions for an out-of-body experience and the complete procedure for a séance.
With an extensive bibliography of more than 900 sources, this guide offers comprehensive information on afterlife beliefs from the vast majority of cultures around the world
and throughout history—a veritable “traveler’s guide” to the afterlife.
Mark Mirabello, Ph.D., is a professor of history at Shawnee State University in Ohio and
a former visiting professor of history at Nizhny Novgorod University in Russia. He has
appeared on Ancient Aliens and America’s Book of Secrets on the History Channel as well
as in the documentary The Kingdom of Survival. He is the author of The Odin Brotherhood,
Handbook for Rebels and Outlaws, and the Pulitzer-nominated novella The Cannibal
Within. He received his master’s from the University of Virgina and his doctorate from the
University of Glasgow. He lives in Portsmouth, Ohio.

“. . . Haze teaches a fascinating lesson in
what we will never be taught but what
every American should know.”
—Edward F. Malkowski,
author of Ancient Egypt 39,000 BCE
In this startling investigation into the suppressed history of America in the 1800s,
Xaviant Haze reveals how the powerful Rothschild banking family and the Central
Banking System, now known as the Federal Reserve Bank, provide a continuous thread
of connection between the War of 1812, the Civil War, the financial crises of the
1800s, and assassination attempts on Presidents Jackson and Lincoln.
The author reveals how the War of 1812 began after Congress failed to renew a
20-year charter for the Central Bank. After the war, the ensuing debt forced Congress
to grant the central banking scheme another 20-year charter. The author explains
how this spurred General Andrew Jackson—fed up with the central bank system and
Nathan Rothschild’s control of Congress—to enter politics and become president in
1828. Citing the financial crises engineered by the banks, Jackson spent his first term
weeding out Rothschild agents from the government. After being re-elected to a 2nd
term with the slogan “Jackson and No Bank,” he became the only president to ever pay
off the national debt. When the Central Bank’s charter came up for renewal in 1836,
he successfully rallied Congress to vote against it.
The author explains how, after failing to regain their power politically, the Rothschilds
plunged the country into Civil War. He shows how Lincoln created a system allowing
the U.S. to furnish its own money, without need for a Central Bank, and how this
led to his assassination by a Rothschild agent. With Lincoln out of the picture, the
Rothschilds were able to wipe out his prosperous monetary system, which plunged the
country into high unemployment and recession and laid the foundation for the later formation of the Federal Reserve Bank—a banking scheme still in place in America today.
Xaviant Haze is a researcher of ancient manuscripts and alternative history, exploring
and documenting his findings on lost cities and the myths of the pre-diluvian world.
The coauthor of The Suppressed History of America, he lives in South Beach, Florida.

The Psychedelic Gospels
The Secret History of Hallucinogens in Christianity
JERRY B. BROWN, Ph.D., and JULIE M. BROWN, M.A.
Reveals evidence of visionary plants in Christianity and the life of Jesus found
in medieval art and biblical scripture—hidden in plain sight for centuries
• Follows the authors’ anthropological adventure discovering sacred mushroom images
in European and Middle Eastern churches, including Roslyn Chapel and Chartres
• Provides color photos showing how R. Gordon Wasson’s psychedelic theory of
religion clearly extends to Christianity and reveals why Wasson suppressed this
information due to his secret relationship with the Vatican
• Examines the Bible and the Gnostic Gospels to show that visionary plants were the
catalyst for Jesus’s awakening to his divinity and immortality
Throughout medieval Christianity, religious works of art emerged to illustrate the
teachings of the Bible for the largely illiterate population. What, then, is the significance of the psychoactive mushrooms hiding in plain sight in the artwork and
icons of many European and Middle-Eastern churches? Does Christianity have a
psychedelic history?
Providing stunning visual evidence from their anthropological journey throughout Europe and the Middle East, including visits to Roslyn Chapel and Chartres
Cathedral, authors Julie and Jerry Brown document the role of visionary plants in
Christianity. They retrace the pioneering research of R. Gordon Wasson, the famous
“sacred mushroom seeker,” on psychedelics in ancient Greece and India, and among
the present-day reindeer herders of Siberia and the Mazatecs of Mexico. Challenging
Wasson’s legacy, the authors reveal his secret relationship with the Vatican that led
to Wasson’s refusal to pursue his hallucinogen theory into the hallowed halls of
Christianity.
Examining the Bible and the Gnostic Gospels, the authors provide scriptural
support to show that sacred mushrooms were the inspiration for Jesus’ revelation of
the Kingdom of Heaven and that he was initiated into these mystical practices in
Egypt during the Missing Years. They contend that the Trees of Knowledge and of
Immortality in Eden were sacred mushrooms.
Uncovering the role played by visionary plants in the origins of Judeo-Christianity,
the authors invite us to rethink what we know about the life of Jesus and to consider a
controversial theory that challenges us to explore these sacred pathways to the divine.
Jerry B. Brown, Ph.D., is an educator, anthropologist and activist. From 1972 to 2014
he served as founding professor of anthropology at Florida International University in
Miami, where he taught a course on “Hallucinogens and Culture.” Julie M. Brown, M.A.,
is a holistic psychotherapist and health coach, who researches the role of sacred plants in
religion. Together the authors coordinate the Sacred Voices Project, which documents
the ritual use of visionary plants in cultures around the world. They live in California.

for which continues to build, Andrew Collins shows that what Plato recounts is the
memory of a major cataclysm at the end of the last Ice Age 13,000 years ago, when
a comet devastated the island of Cuba and submerged part of the Bahaman landmass
in the Caribbean. He parallels Plato’s account with corroborating ancient myths and
legends from the indigenous people of North and South America, such as the Maya
of Mesoamerica, the Quiché of Peru, the Yuchi of Oklahoma, the islanders of the
Antilles, and the native peoples of Brazil. The author explains how the comet that
destroyed Atlantis in the Caribbean was the same comet that formed the mysterious
and numerous elliptical depressions, known as the Carolina Bays, found across the
mid-Atlantic United States. He reveals evidence of sunken ruins off the coasts of
both Cuba and the Bahamas, ancient complexes spanning more than 10 acres that
clearly suggest urban development and meticulously planned road systems.
Revealing the identity of Plato’s “opposite continent” as ancient America, Collins
argues that Plato’s story was first carried back to the Mediterranean world by transAtlantic mariners, such as the Phoenicians and Carthaginians, as early as the first
millennium BC. He offers additional ancient trans-Atlantis trade evidence from
Egyptian mummies, Roman shipwrecks in the Western Atlantic, and the African
features of giant stone heads in Mexico. Piecing together the final days of Atlantis and
the wildfires, earthquakes, tsunamis, days of darkness, and advancement of ice sheets
that followed the ancient comet’s impact, Collins establishes not only that Atlantis
did indeed exist but also that remnants of it survive today, most obviously in Cuba,
Atlantis’s original central island.
Andrew Collins has been investigating the idea of advanced civilizations in prehistory
since 1979. He is the co-discoverer of a massive cave complex beneath the Giza plateau,
now known as “Collins’ Caves.” The author of From the Ashes of Angels, Gods of Eden,
The Cygnus Mystery, and Gobekli Tepe: Genesis of the Gods, he lives in Essex, England.

Candida Albicans
Natural Remedies for Yeast Infection
LEON CHAITOW, D.O., N.D.
A 10-point program to naturally treat yeast overgrowth, the root cause of
countless chronic ailments
• Details a proven anti-Candida diet, enzymes and herbs to support it, detox methods,
and immune-boosting strategies to rebuild and prevent future Candida overgrowth
• Explains how antibiotics, antacids, contraceptive pills, and steroids as well as a
sugar-rich diet lead to Candida overgrowth within the body
• Reveals how Candida can contribute to a wide variety of physical and mental
problems, from depression to irritable bowel syndrome and fibromyalgia
The yeast Candida albicans lives inside every one of us. Normally it presents no problems,
but today’s widespread use of broad-spectrum antibiotics, antacids, contraceptive pills,
and steroids, as well as the all-too-common sugar-rich diet, can lead to a proliferation of
this parasitic yeast within the body. Often overlooked by doctors, overgrowth of Candida
has been linked to a wide variety of physical and mental problems such as:
• depression
• heartburn
• “brain fog”
• muscular pain
• anxiety
• irritable bowel • allergies
• menstrual
• irritability
syndrome (IBS) • acne
problems
• bloating and
• chronic
• migraine
• fibromyalgia
constipation
fatigue
• cystitis
• and more . . .
Using the latest research and his decades of clinical experience, Dr. Leon Chaitow
explains how to recognize if yeast is your problem and offers a 10-point program for getting it back under control. He reveals how Candida overgrowth occurs and its connection to many common health problems. He explores how to control Candida naturally
with enzymes and herbs as well as detailing a sugar-eliminating anti-Candida diet to
“starve” existing yeast overgrowth in the body. He explains the importance of probiotics and bitters and how antibiotic treatment as well as inflammation disturbs the
balance of normal “friendly” intestinal bacteria, allowing Candida to colonize the gut.
Offering strategies for detoxing after controlling Candida and reducing inflammation, Dr. Chaitow also highlights the importance of rebuilding the immune system to
enhance health and help prevent future Candida imbalances.

Before he became the film maker and graphic novel author known throughout the
world today, Alejandro Jodorowsky studied with Zen master Ejo Takata in Mexico
City. In The Finger and the Moon, Jodorowsky recounts how he became Takata’s student and offers his interpretations of the teaching tales, initiatory stories, koans, and
enigmatic haikus he learned at the feet of his great and humble teacher. Blending
the same burlesque slapstick and sublime insight that characterize his films such as
El Topo and The Holy Mountain, each story is accompanied by the author’s lucid and
penetrating commentary, as well as insights from ancient Zen teachers. Yet their most
significant gift to the reader is the sudden shock of realization they impart that can
lead to spiritual awakening.
Jodorowsky notes that most people are incapable of self-realization because of
their fear of the void within, an emptiness they seek to fill with noise and chatter.
He shows that Zen teachings can be compared to a finger pointing at the moon,
directing you to awaken to your true nature—the Buddha within. The danger lies
in mistaking the pointing finger for the moon, mistaking the words for the essential
enlightenment, which can only be grasped once words have been surpassed. Unlike
most tales, these stories are intended to evoke silent illumination—as true awakening and self-realization cannot occur until the mind has been stilled.
Alejandro Jodorowsky is a playwright, filmmaker, composer, mime, and psychotherapist. He has directed several films, including The Rainbow Thief and the legendary cult
classics El Topo and The Holy Mountain. His most recent film, The Dance of Reality,
debuted at the Cannes Film Festival in 2013 alongside a highly acclaimed documentary about his visionary film that never was, Jodorowsky’s Dune. He is the author of
more than 20 books on spirituality and tarot, including Psychomagic, The Way of Tarot,
Metagenealogy, and Sacred Trickery and the Way of Kindness, as well as more than 30
comic books and graphic novels. He lives in Paris.

Enlightenment Now
Liberation Is Your True Nature
JASON GREGORY
A guide to uncovering the enlightenment already within us
• Builds on Buddhist, Hindu, and Taoist wisdom to express the timeless and everpresent nature of enlightenment
• Reveals the negative impact of social and cultural conditioning on our psyche and
how to counteract this through meditation and reframing our understanding of time
• Shows how to uncover the original spontaneous awareness we were born with
In this philosophical, psychological, and spiritual exploration of enlightenment,
Jason Gregory addresses how to access the original spontaneous awareness we all
came into this world with. He exposes the illusion that we must strive to reach
enlightenment, uncovering how our yearning for future accomplishments, attachment to the past, and reliance on authority outside the self are social constructs
that distract us from the reality of the now. The author explains how our original
enlightened nature has been obscured by social, cultural, religious, and egotistical
conditioning of the mind caught in time.
Building on knowledge from spiritual traditions including Buddhism, Hinduism,
and Taoism, Gregory expresses the timeless and ever-present nature of enlightenment. He illustrates how rigid practices and initiations can become a form of spiritual
postponement, continually putting off our enlightenment because we feel we are
doing something good and noble. To chase enlightenment through spiritual practice is to assume it is a quality bound to time. The author helps us see that we are
already what we are seeking—once we understand that existing in this world is itself
a miracle beyond words, then the magic and beauty of our world will unfold. In the
same way we remember someone’s name without thinking about it, we also remember
that we are enlightened when we stop searching for the experience.
Emerging from the Middle Way of the Buddha, Lao-tzu’s Way of the Tao, Yoga,
the Great Work of Gnosticism, the Hermetic Art of Alchemy, and quantum physics, Gregory presents a way to the state of consciousness—enlightenment, nirvana,
or samadhi—in which eternity and time are one. He shows us how to counteract the
negative impact of social and cultural conditioning on our psyche through meditation
and reframing our understanding of time. The author explains how meditation in its
truest form takes our awareness of nowness from theory to practice. Guiding us away
from a time-bound understanding of enlightenment, Gregory shows us how to find ourselves in the stillness of now where the peace you are is the peace you give to the world.
Jason Gregory is a teacher and international speaker specializing in Eastern and
Western philosophy, comparative religion, metaphysics, and ancient cultures. Author
of The Science and Practice of Humility, he divides his time between Asia and Australia.

For millennia, the human imagination has been devoted to the Goddess, so it is
hardly a surprise to find images of supernatural females like Sheela na gigs adorning
sacred and secular architecture throughout Ireland, England, Wales, and Scotland.
Appearing on rural churches, castles, bridges, holy wells, tombs, and standing stones,
these powerful images of a figure fearlessly displaying her vulva embody the power of
the Dark Goddess over the mysteries of sex, life, death, and rebirth.
Exploring the art and myth of the Sheela na gig from Celtic and Classical times
back to Paleolithic cave art, Starr Goode shows how the Sheela embraces a conundrum of opposites: she clearly offers up her ripe sex yet emanates a repelling menace
from the upper half of her hag-like body. Through more than 150 photographs, the
author shows how the Sheela is a goddess with the power to renew, a folk deity used
to help women survive childbirth, and, as a guardian of doorways and castle walls, a
liminal entity representing the gateway to the divine. She explains how these powerful images survived eradication during the rise of Christianity and retained their
preeminent positions on sacred sites, including medieval churches.
The author provides meditations on the individual Sheelas she encountered during her 25 years of research, allowing readers to commune with these icons and feel
the power they emanate. Exploring comparable figures such as Baubo, Medusa, the
Neolithic Frog Goddess, and vulva depictions in cave art, she reveals the female sacred
display to be a universal archetype, the most enduring image of creativity throughout
history, and illustrates how cultures from Africa and Ecuador to India and Australia
possess similar images depicting goddesses parting their thighs to reveal sacred powers.
Explaining the role of the Sheela na gig in restoring the Divine Feminine, the
author shows the Sheela to be an icon that makes visible the cycles of birth, death,
and renewal all humans experience and a necessary antidote to centuries of suppression of the primal power of women, of nature, and of the imagination.

Journal, and The New Yorker. She was the producer and moderator for the cable TV series
The Goddess in Art, the episodes of which are now housed in the permanent collection of

Tantric Kali
Secret Practices and Rituals
DANIEL ODIER
The mythology, rituals, meditations, and practices used in Tantric worship of
the goddess Kali in the tradition of Kashmiri Shaivism
• Reveals the practices of Vamachara, known as the Left-hand Path but more
accurately translated as the Path of Shakti
• Includes a Kali ritual from the Nirrutara Tantra, translated here for the first time
• Presents devotional chants, meditations, and mudras specific to Tantric worship of Kali
According to traditions going back to pre-Vedic times, Kali sprang from the third
eye of the Goddess Durga as a destructive and terrifying manifestation of feminine
power sent to lay waste to the forces of evil. Throughout India to this day, Kali is
worshipped as the destroyer of bondage, capable of liberating her devotee from all
rules and subjugation.
In The Tantric Kali, Daniel Odier presents the mythology, practices, and rituals of
Kali worship in the Tantric Kaula tradition within Kashmiri Shaivism. He reveals
the practices of Vamachara, commonly known as the Left-hand Path but more
accurately translated as the Path of Shakti. In this tradition the body itself is Kali’s
temple, and it is therefore unnecessary to reject or deny the body to know union with
the divine. Instead, nothing is regarded as pure or impure and there is complete freedom from rules. Focused on working directly with forbidden emotions and behaviors,
this path allows the seeker to transcend obstacles to liberation through sexual union.
According to the Kaula Upanishad, “In your behavior do the opposite to what the
norms dictate but remain in consciousness.” This is the essence of Tantra. Kali is
absolute reality: manifested as woman intoxicated by desire, she frees the tantric
practitioner from all desire except union with the divine.
The author includes an evocative ritual from the Nirrutara Tantra—never before
translated into any Western language—containing devotions to the 64 yoginis
according to Matsyendranath, founder of the Kaula path. Offering devotional
chants, meditations, and mudras specific to Tantric worship of Kali, this empowering
book provides practices and teachings for those on the Tantric path to liberation.

Spring-Heeled Jack—a tall, thin, bounding figure with bat-like wings, clawed hands,
wheels of fire for eyes, and breath of blue flames—first leapt to public attention in
Victorian London in 1838, springing over hedges and walls, from dark lanes and dank
graveyards, to frighten and sometimes physically attack women. News of this strange
and terrifying character quickly spread, but despite numerous sightings through 1904
he was never captured or identified.
Exploring the vast urban legend surrounding this enigmatic figure, John Matthews
explains how the Victorian fascination with strange phenomena and sinister figures
paired with hysterical reports enabled Spring-Heeled Jack to be conjured into existence. Sharing original 19th-century newspaper accounts of Spring-Heeled Jack sightings and encounters, he also examines recent 20th and 21st-century reports, including
a 1953 UFO-related sighting from Houston, Texas, and disturbing accounts of the
Slender Man, who displays notable similarities with Jack. He traces Spring-Heeled
Jack’s origins to earlier mythical beings from folklore, such as fairy creatures and land
spirits, and explores the theory that Jack is an alien marooned on Earth whose leaping
prowess is attributed to his home planet having far stronger gravity than ours.
The author reveals how Jack the Ripper, although a different and much more
violent character, chose to identify himself with the old, well-established figure of
Spring-Heeled Jack. Providing an extensive look at Spring-Heeled Jack from his
beginnings to the present, Matthews illustrates why the worldwide Steampunk community has so thoroughly embraced Jack.
John Matthews has made a lifetime study of the legends of King Arthur, the Celtic
traditions, and more recently, the history of pirates. He is the author of more than 100
books, including Taliesin: The Last Celtic Shaman, The Grail: Quest for Eternal Life, The
Wildwood Tarot, the award-winning Arthur of Albion, and the New York Times bestseller Pirates. He has acted as an advisor on several big budget movies, including King
Arthur, and is the recipient of several awards including a Benjamin Franklin Award, a
NAPPA Gold Medal, and a BIB Golden Apple. He lives in Oxford, England.

Occult Paris
The Lost Magic of the Belle Époque
TOBIAS CHURTON
How fin-de-siècle Paris became the locus for the most intense revival of
magical practices and doctrines since the Renaissance
• Examines the remarkable lives of occult practitioners Joséphin Peladan, Papus,
Stanislas de Guaïta, Saint-Yves d’Alveydre, Jules Doinel, and others
• Reveals how occult activity deeply influenced many well-known cultural movements,
such as Symbolism, the Decadents, modern music, and the “psychedelic 60s”
During Paris’s Belle Époque (1871–1914), many cultural movements and artistic
styles flourished—Symbolism, Impressionism, Art Nouveau, the Decadents—all of
which profoundly shaped modern culture. Inseparable from this cultural advancement
was the explosion of occult activity taking place in the City of Light at the same time.
Exploring the magical, artistic, and intellectual world of the Belle Époque, Tobias
Churton shows how a wide variety of Theosophists, Rosicrucians, Martinists,
Freemasons, Gnostics, and neo-Cathars called fin-de-siècle Paris home. He examines the precise interplay of occultists Joséphin Peladan, Papus, Stanislas de Guaïta,
and founder of the modern Gnostic Church Jules Doinel, along with lesser known
figures such as Saint-Yves d’Alveydre, Paul Sédir, Charles Barlet, Edmond Bailly,
Albert Jounet, Abbé Lacuria, and Lady Caithness. He reveals how the work of
many masters of modern culture such as composers Claude Debussy and Erik Satie,
writers Arthur Rimbaud and Charles Baudelaire, and painters Georges Seurat and
Alphonse Osbert bear signs of immersion in the esoteric circles that were thriving
in Paris at the time. The author demonstrates how the creative hermetic ferment
that animated the City of Light in the decades leading up to World War I remains
an enduring presence and powerful influence today. Where, he asks, would Aleister
Crowley and all the magicians of today be without the Parisian source of so much
creativity in this field?
Conveying the living energy of Paris in this richly artistic period of history,
Churton brings into full perspective the characters, personalities, and forces that
made Paris a global magnet and which allowed later cultural movements, such as the
“psychedelic 60s,” to rise from the ashes of post-war Europe.

In the past few years the world has witnessed changes in social consciousness whose
sudden development the ruling scientific paradigm has not been able to explain.
These changes correspond with the activation of new Waves of Creation emanating
from the center of the universe that influence human thinking. From the Big Bang to
the present, these Waves guide the evolution of the universe and, through their holographic resonance with the human mind, profoundly shape revolutions in religion,
technology, economy, and social consciousness.
Presenting a quantum-holographic perspective on world history and human consciousness, Carl Calleman explains the quantum physics behind the Waves of the
Mayan Calendar system and how these Waves allow us to understand the shifting eras
on Earth as well as the possibilities of the future. He describes how, prior to the activation of the 6th Wave in 3115 BCE, our social systems were based on a unified cosmic
order, but the hologram of this Wave shifted society to an all-consuming focus on Good
and Evil, leading to the rise of patriarchal religious structures, slavery, and warfare. He
explores how later Waves and their new holograms helped humanity survive the negative effects of the 6th Wave, such as the Industrial Revolution of the 7th Wave and the
Digital Revolution of the 8th Wave. In 2011, the 9th Wave was activated, bringing with
it an accelerated push for a more egalitarian world, a rising awareness of unity consciousness, and access to the full power of all Nine Waves of Creation.
Calleman explains how our individual resonance with each Wave plays a role in
the quality of our lives and how we must consciously work to resonate with the higher
Waves. Revealing how we can become quantum activists in a holographic world by
aligning with the 9th Wave, the author shows how we each can help manifest the destiny of humanity hinted at in ancient texts.
Carl Johan Calleman is a scientist and philosopher with a Ph.D. in physical biology
from the University of Stockholm. Recognized for his theory that the Mayan calendar

The Lost Continent of Pan
The Oceanic Civilization at the Origin of World Culture
SUSAN B. MARTINEZ, Ph.D.
Reveals the Pacific Ur-culture that seeded the ancient civilizations of China,
Egypt, India, Mexico, and Peru
• Shows how the Pan diaspora explains the similarities between Gobekli Tepe and
Toltec carvings and stone towers in Japan and on Easter Island
• Reveals the mother tongue of Pan hidden in shared word roots in vastly different
languages, including Quechua, Sanskrit, Japanese, Greek, and Sumerian
• Explains the red-haired Caucasian mummies of China, the Ainu of Japan, the
presence of “white” humans in early Native American legend, and other lightskinned peoples found in Southeast Asia and the Middle East
The destruction of the vast continent of Pan—also known as Lemuria or Mu—in the
Pacific Ocean 24,000 years ago was the greatest catastrophe that ever befell humanity. Yet it resulted in a prehistoric Golden Age of arts and technology thanks to the
Sons of Noah, who, forewarned and prepared for the disaster, escaped in 5 organized
fleets. Theirs was the masterful Ur-culture that seeded China, Egypt, India, Mexico,
and Peru, explaining the sudden injection of the same advanced knowledge and
sophisticated arts into those widely separated lands.
Examining the diaspora from the sunken continent of Pan, Susan B. Martinez
finds traces of the oceanic Pan civilization in arts and technologies from canal-works,
masonry, and agriculture to writing, weaving, and pottery, but most importantly in
the art of navigation, the hallmark of the survivors of the catastrophe. Using archaeolinguistic analysis, she reveals the mother tongue of Pan hidden in strikingly similar
words for royalty, deities, and important places in vastly different languages, including
Quechua, Maori, Sanskrit, Japanese, Chinese, Greek, and Sumerian, as well as English
through the prefix “pan” which denotes “all-encompassing.”
The author reveals how the Pan diaspora explains the mound builders on each
continent, the presence of “white” humans in Native American legend, the red-haired
mummies found in China, and the Ainu of Japan. She shares recent genetic studies that
reveal Polynesian DNA in central Europeans, Mesopotamians, South Americans, and
the 9000-year-old Kennewick man and shows how Pan provides the missing link. She
reveals why carvings at Gobekli Tepe are similar to Toltec artistry, why stone towers in
Japan and Easter Island are identical, and how the Pacific Ring of Fire was activated.
Moving the Garden of Eden from the Fertile Crescent to the South Seas, Martinez
strikes down the pervasive view of Atlantis as the source of ancient knowledge and
exposes the original unity of mankind on the ancient Pacific continent of Pan.
Susan B. Martinez, Ph.D., is a writer, linguist, teacher, paranormal researcher, and
recognized authority on the Oahspe Bible with a doctorate in anthropology from
Columbia University. The author of several books, including Time of the Quickening
and The Mysterious Origins of Hybrid Man, she lives in Clayton, Georgia.

Stones and crystals are our most ancient teachers. The relationships between the
mineral kingdom and the human kingdom are as old as life itself, for the mineral
kingdom—comprised of beautiful crystals, dense rocks, sands, clays, and everything
in-between—is the very foundation upon which life developed on Earth. Supporting
humanity through the eons, these teachers offer curative and restorative properties for
healing as well as powerful guidance to catalyze spiritual growth.
Integrating gemstone lore from around the world with modern mineral science,
Nicholas Pearson guides readers on a journey into the inner realm of the mystery
teachings of the mineral kingdom, a journey that mirrors the soul’s path to perfection.
He reveals the archetypal wisdom embodied within 7 essential crystal and gemstone
mentors—obsidian, jade, lapis lazuli, emerald, quartz, amethyst, and diamond—examining each stone’s mythological, historical, and cultural associations in tandem with
their crystalline structure and chemical composition. He explores each stone’s healing and spiritual properties, providing practical exercises, esoteric revelations, and
meditations on the specific spiritual work each stone archetype supports. Obsidian, for
example, is the stone of initiation, revealing our shadow side and guiding us to places
in need of light. Diamond, the final perfected stone of the seven, illuminates Divine
Love, purifying us and leading our consciousness to enlightenment, cutting through
any vestiges of fear or illusion because it is the hardest, sharpest, most luminous
teacher the mineral kingdom has to offer.
Enabling each of us to harness the power of stones for spiritual evolution and healing,
this guide to the mystery teachings of the mineral kingdom shows how the ancient call
to evolve with the crystals and stones that surround us lives on in an unbroken legacy.
Nicholas Pearson has been immersed in all aspects of the mineral kingdom for more than
20 years. He began teaching crystal workshops in high school, later studying mineral science at Stetson University while pursuing a degree in music. He worked for several years
at the Gillespie Museum, home to the largest mineral collection in the southern United
States. A certified teacher and practitioner of Usui Reiki Ryoho, he teaches crystal and
Reiki classes throughout the United States. He lives in Orlando, Florida.

In 3200 BC, Orkney Island off the coast of Northern Scotland was home to a small
farming village called Skara Brae. For reasons unknown, after nearly six centuries of continuous habitation, the village was abandoned around 2600 BC and its stone structures
covered over—perhaps deliberately, like the structures at Gobekli Tepe. Although now
well-excavated, very little is known about the peaceful people who lived at Skara Brae or
their origins. Who were they and where did they go?
Drawing on his in-depth knowledge of the connections between the cosmology and
linguistics of Egyptian, Dogon, Chinese, and Vedic traditions, Laird Scranton reveals the
striking similarities between Skara Brae and the Dogon of Mali, who still practice the
same cosmology and traditions they once shared with pre-dynastic Egypt. He shows how
the earliest Skara Brae houses match the typical Dogon stone house as well as Schwaller
de Lubicz’s intrepretation of the Egyptian Temple of Man at Luxor. He explains how
megalithic stone sites near Skara Brae conform to Dogon cosmology, each representing
sequential stages of creation as described by Dogon priests, and he details how the houses
at Skara Brae also represent a concept of creation. Citing a linguistic phenomenon known
as “ultraconserved words,” the author compares words of the Faroese language at Skara
Brae, a language with no known origin, with important cosmological words from Dogon
and ancient Egyptian traditions, finding obvious connections and similarities.
Scranton shows how the cultivated field alongside the village of Skara Brae corresponds
to the “heavenly field” symbolism pervasive throughout many ancient cultures, such as
the Field of Reeds of the ancient Egyptians and the Elysian Fields of ancient Greece.
He demonstrates how Greek and Egyptian geographic descriptions of these fields are a
consistent match with Orkney Island. Examining the similarities between Skara Brae and
Gobekli Tepe, Scranton reveals that Skara Brae may have been a secondary center of
initiation and civilizing knowledge, a long-lost Egyptian mystery school set up millennia
after Gobekli Tepe was ritually buried, and given the timing of the site, is possibly the
source of the first pharaohs and priests of ancient Egypt.
Laird Scranton is the author of a series of books on ancient cosmology and language,
including The Science of the Dogon, Point of Origin, and China’s Cosmological Prehistory.
He has presented at conferences throughout the United States and is a frequent guest on
Red Ice Radio and Coast to Coast AM. He lives in Albany, New York.

The Shamanic Powers of
Rolling Thunder
As Experienced by Alberto Villoldo, John Perry Barlow,

Edited by SIDIAN MORNING STAR JONES and
STANLEY KRIPPNER, Ph.D.
Eyewitness accounts of Rolling Thunder’s remarkable healings, legendary
control over the weather and animals, and inspiring teachings
• Includes accounts of Rolling Thunder by his grandson Sidian Morning Star
Jones, Stanley Krippner, Alberto Villoldo, Larry Dossey, William Lyon, Jean Millay,
John Perry Barlow, Stephan Schwartz, Ed Little Crow, Leslie Gray, Oh Shinna
Fast Wolf, Jürgen Kremer, and David Sessions, among others
• Shows how his teachings and powers have transcended his death and how
many of his climate change predictions have come to pass
One of the most celebrated and controversial Native American medicine men of
the 20th century, Rolling Thunder (1916–1997) was known for his remarkable healings and for his ability to call on the forces of nature, typically in the form of thunder
clouds. He was also a passionate activist who worked to trigger social change on
behalf of Native American tribes. Sought after as a lecturer and workshop leader, he
used the money he earned from teaching to construct Meta Tantay, a community
in the Nevada desert.
In this book, edited by his grandson Sidian Morning Star Jones and longtime
friend Stanley Krippner, we hear directly from people profoundly changed by Rolling
Thunder, whether through direct experience or through his teachings. We learn of his
legendary interactions with animals and the forces of Nature and hear from witnesses
to his remarkable healings, including the healing of a young boy where a “mist wolf”
was seen by several people. We learn of Rolling Thunder’s inspiring impact on men
and women now devoted in service to humankind and the Earth and read stories both
insightful and humorous from friends that prove his climate change predictions true.
Revealing his trickster teachings, his legendary shamanic powers, his devotion to
the Earth, and how his impact did not stop with his death, these stories of Rolling
Thunder from a variety of sources demonstrate how transformation can come even
while walking gently on the Earth.
Sidian Morning Star Jones, Rolling Thunder’s grandson and one of the caretakers of his
spiritual legacy, is a graphic designer and founder of Open Source Religion. The coauthor
with Stanley Krippner of The Voice of Rolling Thunder, he lives in Boise, Idaho. Stanley
Krippner, Ph.D., is a professor of psychology at Saybrook University and past president of
the Association for Humanistic Psychology. The recipient of several distinguished awards
and author and coauthor of many books, he lives in San Rafael, California.

Health/Pain Management
Throughout history many healing traditions have focused on analgesia—the alleviation
of pain—an area in which modern medicine provides few options beyond narcotics,
steroids, and surgery. For those seeking drug- and surgery-free alternatives or complements to conventional pain management, the choices can be overwhelming. How do
you know which method will work for you?
In this guide to safe and effective natural therapies for acute and chronic pain,
authors Marc S. Micozzi, M.D., Ph.D., and Sebhia M. Dibra explain how your emotional boundary style—how you react to emotional, social, environmental, and physical
stresses—affects which complementary treatments will work best for you. Providing an
easy questionnaire to determine your emotional type and an interactive self-assessment
for finding the right pain treatment for your condition, they explore the effectiveness of
mind-body treatments for each emotional type and for many common pain disorders,
including arthritis, back pain, fibromyalgia, irritable bowel, ulcer, migraine headaches,
carpal tunnel, anxiety, PTSD, and other chronic pain conditions. They review the
available research and scientific evidence in support of each therapy, suggesting only
well-established, safe, and clinically proven alternative treatments, such as acupuncture,
biofeedback, hypnosis, massage, chiropractic, yoga, herbs, and essential oils.
Approaching pain holistically, they reveal how pain should be understood as a
dynamic condition—an interaction between mind and body as well as between patient
and therapy—and how your emotional type is key to long-lasting and successful results.

Edited by STEPHEN GRAY
Foreword by JULIE HOLLAND, M.D.
A guide to the benefits and challenges of the use of cannabis in
spiritual practice

movement, including Kathleen Harrison, Joan Bello, Hamilton Souther, Steven Hager,
Chris Bennett, Dee Dussault, Jeremy Wolff, and Roger Christie
• Explores the use of marijuana in a wide range of spiritual practices, including
meditation, yoga, chanting, visualization, shamanism, group ceremonies, work with
other entheogens, and as a creative aid
Truly a medicine for body and soul, one of cannabis’s greatest gifts is its remarkable
potential for spiritual healing and awakening. In this authoritative guide, editor
Stephen Gray and 17 other influential voices of the modern cannabis movement
explore the spiritual benefits of cannabis and offer guidance on how to interact with
the intelligence of this plant ally, a companion and supporter of humanity for millennia. Exploring cannabis spirituality in practice, Gray’s chapters examine dosage,
strains, and methods of intake; the use of cannabis to open the creative channels;
how to conduct group ceremonies with cannabis; and cautions and counterindications for cannabis use. We hear from Chris Bennett on the religious and ritual use
of cannabis from pre-biblical times to the present, Joan Bello on marijuana and the
body-mind connection, Dee Dussault on ganja yoga, Kathleen Harrison on humanity’s co-evolution with cannabis, and cannabis shaman Hamilton Souther on working with the spirit of cannabis. The contributors explore the spiritual future of this
plant ally as well as the ritual use of cannabis by the Rastafarians of Jamaica and the
Sadhus of India. The chapters from Brazilian ayahuasca shaman Mariano da Silva
and ayahuasca apprentice Francisco present wisdom on comingling the sacramental
medicines of cannabis and ayahuasca.
Revealing the potential of “the people’s plant” to enhance a wide range of spiritual practices, such as meditation, yoga, chanting, visualization, shamanism, spirit
work, and explorations with other entheogens, this guide shows how cannabis is an
effective ally on the awakening journey, unlocking the receptive energy in us all and
helping us to feel connected to nature, to each other, and to ourselves.

Through the energy psychology practices from the 5000-year-old Taoist Chi Kung system, you can recycle negative emotional states into positive energy for your spiritual,
emotional, and physical benefit. By combining these ancient practices with the recently
developed therapy of EMDR, or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, you
can produce fast, profound relief from emotional trauma, as well as address the emotional imbalances underlying depression, anxiety, PTSD, and even addiction.
In this illustrated guide, Master Mantak Chia and Doug Hilton explain how to integrate the eye movements of EMDR with the energetic exercises of the Universal Healing
Tao to rid yourself of the negative feelings associated with past trauma, build up positive
feelings about handling similar events in the future, and remove any physical sensations
connected to the issue. The authors explore how negative emotions are stored in the
organs, the effects they have on physical, mental, and spiritual health, and the maladaptive emotional states people develop to deal with the pressures of modern life.
Providing step-by-step instructions for each practice, the authors show how to deactivate your emotional triggers, trace energy disturbances back to the affected organ
systems, transform negative emotions into positive ones, and harmonize the organs with
EMDR and the Universal Healing Tao techniques of the Inner Smile, the Six Healing
Sounds, and the Microcosmic Orbit. The result is a powerful self-healing practice that
can be learned and applied quickly and easily.
Mantak Chia, world-famous Inner Alchemy and Chi Kung master, founded the
Universal Healing Tao System in 1979 and has taught tens of thousands of students and
trained instructors all over the world. The director of the Tao Garden Health Spa and
Resort in northern Thailand, he is the author of more than 50 books, including Chi SelfMassage and Healing Light of the Tao. Doug Hilton has a master’s degree in counseling
psychology from the University of Calgary and has been a practicing counselor for more
than 20 years. A certified Universal Healing Tao instructor, he is also certified in the
emotional processing method of EMDR, level II. He lives in Burnaby, British Columbia.

non-aggressive methods, such as dietary changes, herbs, and relaxation methods
• Explains gentle, natural ways to empty the bowels when quick relief is necessary
• Reveals how treating constipation properly can restore full function not only to
the digestive system but to the liver and kidneys as well
Constipation has many causes. Most people do not know the exact cause of their
constipation and thus have trouble finding lasting relief. Yet there are many natural
remedies available that can be tailored to your body’s specific needs.
In this step-by-step guide, Christopher Vasey explains how healthy intestines work
and the different forms that constipation can take. He details the 8 main causes of
constipation: lack of roughage, lack of water, liver dysfunction, constipating foods
or medications, weak muscles, imbalances in intestinal flora, stress and anxiety,
and nutritional deficiencies. He helps you discover which of the 8 causes underlies
your unique case and offers practical advice on how to correct it with natural and
non-aggressive methods, such as dietary changes, herbs, and relaxation techniques.
For situations when quick relief is necessary, he provides gentle ways to empty the
bowels, including natural laxatives and enemas, explaining which to choose for each
type of constipation, but also stressing that these are only temporary solutions.
Explaining how constipation can be a symptom of a deeper imbalance, the author
explores how treating it properly can restore full function not only to the digestive
system but to the liver and kidneys as well. In this practical guide, you will learn
how to support the work of your intestines, allowing your body to gradually resume
its natural working rhythm.

Ancient Mysteries

Despite millennia of fame, the origins of the Great Pyramid of Giza are shrouded in
mystery. Believed to be the tomb of an Egyptian king, even though no remains have
ever been found, its construction date of roughly 2550 BCE is tied to only one piece of
evidence: the crudely painted marks within the pyramid’s hidden chambers that refer to
the 4th Dynasty king Khufu, discovered in 1837 by Colonel Howard Vyse and his team.
Using evidence from the time of the discovery of these “quarry marks”—including
surveys, facsimile drawings and Vyse’s private field notes—along with high definition
photos of the actual marks, Scott Creighton reveals how and why the marks were
faked. He investigates the anomalous and contradictory orthography of the quarry
marks through more than 75 photos and illustrations, showing how they radically
depart from the established canon of quarry marks from this period. He explains how
the orientation of the Khufu cartouche contradicts ancient Egyptian writing convention and how one of the signs is from a later period. Analyzing Vyse’s private diary,
he reveals Vyse’s forgery instructions to his two assistants, Raven and Hill, and what
the anachronistic sign should have been. He examines recent chemical analysis of the
marks along with the eye-witness testimony of Humphries Brewer, who worked with
Vyse at Giza in 1837 and saw forgery take place. Exploring Vyse’s background, including his electoral fraud to become a member of the British Parliament, he explains why
he was driven to perpetrate a fraud inside the Great Pyramid.
Proving Zecharia Sitchin’s claim that the quarry marks are forgeries and removing
the only physical evidence that dates the Great Pyramid’s construction to the reign of
Khufu, Creighton’s study strikes down one of the most fundamental assertions of orthodox Egyptologists and reopens long-standing questions about the Great Pyramid’s true
age, who really built it, and why.
Scott Creighton is an engineer whose extensive travels have allowed him to explore
many of the world’s ancient sacred sites. The host of the Alternative Egyptology forum
on AboveTopSecret.com, he is the author of The Secret Chamber of Osiris and coauthor
of The Giza Prophecy. He lives in Glasgow, Scotland.

The Lost Art of Resurrection
Initiation, Secret Chambers, and the Quest for the Otherworld
FREDDY SILVA
Reveals the radical ancient practice of living resurrection, in which initiates
ritually died and were reborn into a state of higher consciousness
• Explores living resurrection initiation practices from world cultures, including
Egyptian, Greek, Gnostic, Chinese, Celtic, and Native American traditions
• Describes the secret chambers and temples where Mystery Schools practiced
“raising the dead”
• Shows why this practice was branded a heresy and suppressed by the Church
More than two thousand years before the resurrection of Jesus, initiates from spiritual
traditions around the world were already practicing a secret mystical ritual in which
they metaphorically died and were reborn into a higher spiritual state. During this living
resurrection, they experienced a transformative spiritual awakening that revealed the
nature of reality and the purpose of the soul, described as “rising from the dead.”
Exploring the practice of living resurrection in ancient Egyptian, Phoenician, Greek,
Persian, Indian, Japanese, Chinese, Celtic, and Native American traditions, Freddy
Silva explains how resurrection was never meant for the dead, but for the living—a fact
supported by the suppressed Gnostic Gospel of Philip: “Those who say they will die first
and then rise are in error. If they do not first receive the resurrection while they live,
when they die they will receive nothing.” He reveals how these practices were not only
common in the ancient world but also shared similar facets in each tradition: initiates
were led through a series of challenging ordeals, retreated for a three-day period into a
cave or restricted room, often called a “bridal chamber,” and while out-of-body, became
fully conscious of travels in the Otherworld. Upon returning to the body, they were led
by priests or priestesses to witness the rising of Sirius or the Equinox sunrise.
Silva describes some of the secret chambers around the world where the ritual was
performed, including the so-called tomb of Thutmosis III in Egypt, which featured
an empty sarcophagus and detailed instructions for the living on how to enter the
Otherworld and return alive. He reveals why esoteric and Gnostic sects claimed that the
literal resurrection of Jesus promoted by the Church was a fraud and how the Church
branded all living resurrection practices as a heresy, relentlessly persecuting the Gnostics
to suppress knowledge of this self-empowering experience. He shows how the Knights
Templar revived these concepts and how they survive to this day within Freemasonry.
Exploring the hidden art of living resurrection, Silva shows how this personal experience of the Divine opened the path to self-empowerment and higher consciousness,
leading initiates such as Plato to describe it as the pinnacle of spiritual development.
Freddy Silva is a leading researcher of alternative history, ancient knowledge, sacred
sites, and the interaction between temples and consciousness. He has appeared on
Discovery Channel, BBC, and Coast to Coast AM radio. He is the author of 5 books
and lives in Portland, Maine.

When we look at the vast and intricate cosmos—galaxies, planets, organisms, organs,
cells, molecules, atoms—there is a fundamental order, a music or harmony of the
spheres. Our cells reflect the images of galaxies seen through our telescopes. We are the
microcosm, reflecting the macrocosm of the heavens. Our ancestors understood these
patterns and connections between humanity and the universe and developed spiritual
and healing traditions in line with these cosmic truths. Yet in the 19th century, knowledge of these connections was set aside as medical science sought to create the “one size
fits all” approaches to healing that dominate modern medicine today.
In this comprehensive exploration of the celestial influences that underlie health and
healing, Jennifer Gehl, with Marc Micozzi, examines how ancient and modern traditions
of healing interconnect through the doctrine of signatures, “As above, so below”. She
reveals how one’s celestial nature—the arrangement of the cosmos at the moment of
birth—has implications for personal health and how each sign of the zodiac corresponds
to parts of the body, the chakras, and specific plants, herbs, colors, and emotions. She
explains how sound re-arranges forms according to the principles of harmony, leveraging
not only the human self-regulating capacity to restore health but also that of the Earth
to restore balance and harmony. Also explored are the recurrence of geometric forms in
nature and how to apply this knowledge in sound healing and medical astrology.
Weaving together the threads of ancient science and spirit that formed the original
tapestry of medicine, Gehl explains how to restore the cosmic foundations of healing for
personal, planetary, and universal health and wellbeing.
Jennifer T. Gehl, MHS, instructs astro-harmonic medicine continuing education to

author and editor of 30 books, he lives in Longboat Key, Florida.

Sexuality is one of our core soul qualities, best evidenced by the design of our
physical and spiritual bodies and their inherent propensity for sexual expression.
By embracing your sexual power in a loving union, you can enact a sacred trinity
between your two souls and the Divine, transforming your relationship into an initiatory temple of spiritual development and awakening yourselves to divine gnosis,
direct knowing of God, through sacred body rites.
In this workbook, Anaiya Sophia and Padma Aon Prakasha explain how to
reactivate your primal sexual expression in harmony with the Divine, navigate the
waters of Divine Relationship with a partner, and ignite the alchemical process of
Sacred Marriage or Hieros Gamos—union with God. Integrating shamanic, gnostic,
tantric, and alchemical traditions with sacred sexual practices, including teachings
from the Temples of Isis, they explore how to unite the Divine Feminine and Divine
Masculine energies within each of us and experience the Great Work of sexual
alchemy. They explain how, when two lovers come together and abandon themselves to loving each other, they re-enact the primal union of the Cosmic Couple,
Shiva and Shakti, that created the universe.
Weaving together mystical feminine wisdom, transcendent masculine consciousness,
and sexual psychology, the authors offer practical tools to balance your masculine and
feminine energies, help with relationship obstacles, and bring about sexual healing,
emotional clearing, spiritual growth, and physical release. Offering female specific, male
specific, and couples exercises, they detail practices for self-awakening, womb pulsing,

practices, you can not only deepen your connection with the Divine but also develop a
loving connection with yourself, with your partner, and with the world around.

Tantric Jesus
The Erotic Heart of Early Christianity
JAMES HUGHES REHO, Ph.D.
Foreword by MATTHEW FOX
A guide to the history and modern practice of transformative Christianity
• Reveals the original tantric practices of Jesus and the early Church and their
similarities to the tantric yogas of India and Tibet
• Explains how tantric Christianity views the human body as the primary “temple”
of the Holy and erotic energy as the signature of indwelling Divine Presence
• Provides step-by-step instructions for a series of partnered Christian sacred sexual
practices as well as Christian tantric rituals, mantra and energy work, and eye gazing
Unbeknownst to many, the original Christian spirituality as practiced in the early
church and by Jesus himself was a tantric spirituality. In the West, Tantra often
evokes images of arcane rituals or acrobatic sexual positions, while in reality Tantra
is a holistic transformative path of life, love, and being—grounded in practice.
Offering a new understanding of Jesus as guru and master of left-handed Tantra, James
Reho, an Episcopal priest and tantric initiate, reframes the Christian story and restores
to modern Christianity the tantric wisdom practices that were edited out of church tradition and forgotten over the centuries. He explains how tantric Christianity views the
human body as the primary “temple” of the Holy, with erotic energy as the signature of
Divine Presence within. Rev. Reho reveals the similarities of the earliest Christian practices to the tantric yogas of India and Tibet and explores the role of Kundalini and the
chakras. He details how to work with mantras, icons, and pranayama breathing exercises,
as well as with gazing as a spiritual practice. Informed by the insights of ancient texts
and early masters of Christian spirituality, the author provides step-by-step instructions
on how to practice Christian tantric sex with a life-partner of the opposite or same sex.
Rev. Reho reveals how these heart-opening practices are rooted in eros, the life
of deep desire, expressive of God’s grace within us, and are still alive in monastic
practices in the Christian East. Integrating his personal spiritual experiences, years
of study of ancient Christian mysticism, and an expertise in yoga and tantra, the
author shows how we can re-engage the original truths of the early church to affirm
the body as a holy vehicle and to utilize the energy of the erotic to achieve ecstatic
union with the Divine.
The Reverend James Hughes Reho, Ph.D., is an ordained Episcopal priest with a
Ph.D. in Chemistry from Princeton University. He has served on the staff of Trinity
Episcopal Cathedral in Miami, as the Chaplain and Director of Spiritual Formation
at the General Theological Seminary in New York City, and currently pastors a
Lutheran-Episcopal church in Fort Myers, Florida. A spiritual director and certified
yoga instructor, he leads retreats and workshops on yoga, meditation, and tantric practice in both religious and secular settings. He lives in southwest Florida with his wife.
