of Bonghwang, cloud/mist, geometry and etc. in the era of ancient dynastis or kingdoms to be adopted in the items of

beauty, and are going to make inroads into domestic and overseas market with our differentiated cultural art products.

It is no surprise to develop the Korean traditional natural dyeing technique to
dye fine texture of silk at Sangju deep in south eastern part of Korea where it
has for long been known as the place producing 3 white stuffs of silk, rice and
dried persimmon.
Our silk scarf wih unique colors and patterns from the natural
material of persimmon, one of the Korean traditional heritage,
is an traditional, pure natural and eco friendly environmental
art works expressed nature’s wonder and diverse colors and
patterns with indigo plant and rouge after the series of difficult
and long processes, drenching the silk into persimmon liquids,
twisting and wrenching it by inspiration of the craftsman,
maturing and fermenting the liquid of persimmon into the
fine texture of silk.This scarf was born completely by hands
with his devotion and endeavor same as birth pangs during the
whole process and steps for at least 30 days.

The bonghwang is a mythical bird of east Asia that is said
to a pair of Bong and Hwang meaning the king and the
queen because many people imagine it lofty and dignity
for its appearance while signifying peaceful reign and
auspiciousness.
Bonghwang pattern redesigned by GEMMY is combined with
lotus, peony and chrysanthemum with Taeguk symbol.
It is GEMMY idea to bring it back to the daily life, the dual
functional art goods of scarf and hankerchief which is born
in working together with Korean artists. The picture printed
on the scarf with handkerchief is to be consensual, about the
dream, hope and the world through the eyes of the artists and
painters staring at and pursuing to.
In addition, high grade of material of qualified digital printing
technology, the good material of cotton and meticulous
needlework will lead it to new level of completion and quality.

Lacquerware inlaid with mother-of-pearl being called as Najeon-Chilgi
in Korean that was once considered to be the symbol of wealth, and that is
precious artwork with profound colors and luster as well as scarcity.
