On January 1, 2009, he made a New Year’s Resolution to record and release a CD of some of the songs he had written for his two daughters. A few months later, Thank You for Joining the Happy Club came out. The album was quickly well received by kid’s music bloggers, kid’s music stations, and, most importantly, by the kids! Since then, he’s been busy making music videos for kids, writing more songs, and playing shows with his band, Billy Kelly and the Blahblahblahs. The Blahblahblahs are made up of his friends: Bob, Jake, Gary, and Evan. In 2010, he released a follow-up album, This Some Kind of Joke?, which features a duet with Davy Jones from The Monkees. His newest album, The Family Garden, came out in April 2011. This album features a song written with Molly Ledford, from another kids band, (coming to DT in April) Lunch Money! Meet the Museum: National Air and Space Museum . The National Air and Space Museums showcase the largest collection of historic air and spacecraft in the world. It is also a vital center for research into the history, science, and technology of aviation and space flight, as well as planetary science and terrestrial geology and geophysics. The museum on the National Mall houses thousands of artifacts, including the Wright 1903 Flyer, the Spirit of St. Louis, and the Apollo 11 command module Columbia. There is even a lunar rock sample that you can touch! The museum also features an entire gallery, How Things Fly, featuring a collection of hands-on exhibits demonstrating how aircraft and spacecraft fly. Check out the Skylab and see what living and working in space was like before the Space Shuttle. . For more information, please visit: airandspace.si.edu/ ABOUT TOT ROCK: .
