TERMS AND CONDITIONS: PAYMENTS: All reservation forms must be accompanied by a non-refundable check deposit of $300 per person made payable to Brit Olom Tours, Inc. Second deposit of $1500 is due by July 14, 2014. Final payment is due by August 22, 2014. Checks for the entire package should be made payable to Brit Olom Tours, Inc. LAND ARRANGEMENTS: Sightseeing is included as per itinerary. Package is based on double occupancy sharing a twin-bedded room with private facilities including service charges and taxes. Double rooms must be booked for two (2) persons. Diesenhaus Unitours does not arrange sharing. Single rooms are available at an additional cost. Diesenhaus Unitours reserves the right to substitute hotels of like category or better according to availability. AIR ARRANGEMENTS: Packages are based on departure from specified gateway cities. Fares from other cities are available on request. Deviations from the itinerary specified may result in a higher airfare. TRANSFERS: TTransfers are seat-in-coach basis unless otherwise specified. Passengers arriving and departing independently are responsible for their own transfers. NOT INCLUDED: Passport and visa fees, travel insurance (strongly recommended), tips to guide and driver; expenses of a personal nature. OPTIONAL TOURS: Optional tours will be reserved and paid for separately by each participant on an individual basis and are not included in the tour price. Diesenhaus Unitours,/Brit Olom Tours, Inc. are not responsible for any aspect of the optional tours. MINIMUM PARTICIPANTS: A minimum of 15 participants is required for this departure. In the event the required number has not been reached, the tour can be cancelled. Should this occur, your payment will be refunded in full. INSURANCE: Travel insurance is not included in any tour package. It is highly recommended to purchase insurance for baggage, trip cancellation and medical emergency. VISA & HEALTH: A passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the completion of the trip is required for all participants. There is no visa requirement for citizens of the USA for travel in Israel. Other nationals should contact the appropriate consulate for regulations. As this itinerary goes to press, no inoculations are required for travel to Israel, but please check with local public health authorities for up to date information. BAGGAGE: Baggage is limited to I piece of luggage per person; the combined total dimensions of the bag may not be larger than 62 inches or exceed 50 lbs. One piece of carry-on luggage is allowed, the total combined dimensions not to exceed 45 inches. All excess baggage charges will be collected at the airport. Baggage is at "own risk" throughout the tour. Diesenhaus Tours/ Brit Olom Tours, Inc./B’nai B’rith are not responsible for lost or damaged baggage. Baggage insurance is recommended. CANCELLATION FEES: All cancellations must be received in writing. Cancellation notices received by July 13, 2014: $300 per person processing fee/non-refundable From July 14 - August 21, 2014: $1800 From August 22: 100% penalty on total tour (land and air) There will be no refund for unused services. In the event that airline taxes will increase the ticket cost after final payment, we reserve the right to ticket immediately. Therefore, participants will be responsible to pay for their non-refundable tickets in their entirety should they cancel. CHANGES: Any changes or deviations made by individual passenger from the group flights will be subject to airline change fees plus $100 processing fee per change. FUEL SURCHARGE/TAXES/FEES: Fuel surcharges and taxes may be changed by the airline prior to issuance of tickets and any increases are to be paid by the passenger. RESPONSIBILITY: Diesenhaus Unitours/Brit Olom Tours, Inc./B’nai B’rith is acting solely as an intermediary agent for the travel suppliers providing means of transportation, hotel and/or all other related services being purchased (the "Third Party Providers"). Diesenhaus Unitours/ Brit Olom Tours, Inc./B’nai B’rith therefore, shall not be responsible for any injury, illness, loss or involved with travel resulting from detention, annoyance, delays, quarantine, quarantine, strikes, ,thefts, pilferage, force majeure, diseases, mechanical difficulties, failure of any means of transportation to arrive or depart as scheduled, civil disturbances, terrorism, government restrictions or regulations, and discrepancies or changes in transportation or hotel services or any other matter or event over which Diesenhaus Unitours/ Brit Olom Tours, Inc./B’nai B’rith has no control; or (ii) for any state of quality , hygiene, political stability, cuisine, sanitation facilities, cleanliness, telecommunication facilities, ,methods of conducting business, emergency medical evacuation, treatment or medical services existing at any travel destination. By embarking upon his/her travel, the passenger voluntarily assumes all risks involved in such travel whether expected or unexpected. The insurance and acceptance of any exchange orders or tickets shall constitute consent by the purchaser and/or passenger to the foregoing conditions. All exchange orders and tickets are also subject to such additional terms and conditions as the Third Party Providers may impose. Finally, Diesenhaus Unitours/ Brit Olom Tours, Inc./B’nai B’rith shall not be liable for any funds received from the purchaser and/or passenger and paid over to any Third Party Provider which subsequently becomes insolvent or files any bankruptcy or similar proceedings or fails to deliver services. SPECIAL NOTE: Delays, cancellations and overbooking by participating Third Party Providers may occur on air flights and land reservations. While Diesenahus Unitours/ Brit Olom Tours, Inc. will do their utmost to avoid these inconveniences, they shall not be liable or responsible for the acts or omissions of such Third Party Providers. Diesenhaus Unitours/ Brit Olom Tours, Inc. reserve the right (i) to cancel any tour, substitute hotels and make such alterations in tour itineraries as may be necessary or desirable for the convenience of the parties and the proper conducting of the tour(s); and (ii) to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of any tour. We reserve the right to refuse the application of anyone and/or to expel from any trip/tour members whose conduct is incompatible with the interest of the group. Any additional costs, if necessary, shall be the passenger's responsibility. In addition, Diesenhaus Unitours/ Brit Olom Tours, Inc. may cancel any tour prior to departure. In such a case, a full refund of all payments will constitute full settlement with the passenger and/or purchaser of the tour. All disputes arising under, in connection with, or incident to this agreement shall be litigated, if at all, in and before a court located in the Tel Aviv, Israel, and in the court of no other city, state or country. Retention of tickets, reservations or bookings by the purchaser and./or passenger after issuances shall constitute consent to the above terms, as well as an agreement on his/her part to convey the contents hereto to his/her travel companions or group members. A donation will be made to B’nai B’rith on behalf of each tour participant. Brit Olom Tours, Inc. may use a photo or video of their tour participants on their web site or for travel promotions. Lauderdale or other gateways for your overnight flight to Israel. Your flights includes meals, beverages, snacks and in-flight entertainment for your journey. Friday ARRIVAL–TEL AVIV– JERUSALEM–WESTERN WALL Arrival at Ben Gurion International Airport, where we are met by our tour guide. On our way to Jerusalem we visit the B'nai B'rith Scroll of Fire monument. A traditional Shehechiyanu will be made upon entering the Holy City. Time permitting, we visit the Mahane Yehudah open market to observe the pace and aromas of preparations for the Shabbat. We welcome Shabbat at the Western Wall and return to our hotel for a special cantorial Shabbat dinner with wine at the hotel. Overnight at the Leonardo Plaza Jerusalem (B,D) and special entertainment. Overnight at the Leonardo Plaza Jerusalem (B, D) Monday YAD VASHEM, HADASSAH/CHAGALL WINDOWS Visit the new museum at Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Martyrs' and Heroes' Remembrance Hall. Continue with a visit to the new, interactive Herzl Museum. We continue to Hadassah Hospital to view the world famous Chagall Windows. Time permitting, stroll the streets and visit the Artists Galleries in Ein Karem. In the evening, dinner on your own at the chic, new Mamilla pedestrian mall and then experience the spectacular sound and light show at the Tower of David in the Old City. Overnight at the Leonardo Plaza Jerusalem (B) Saturday JERUSALEM–SHABBAT At leisure in Jerusalem to enjoy the Shabbat. You can attend Sabbath services at the synagogue of your choice. Many are walking distance from your hotel. Optional - a walking tour to Christian sites including the Via Dolarosa. Dinner at Darna - an authentic Moroccan restaurant. Overnight at the Leonardo Plaza Jerusalem (B, D) Tuesday MASADA AND DEAD SEA, TIBERIAS Today we leave Jerusalem and travel to the Galilee via the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley. Upon arriving at Masada, we ascend by cable car to the last stronghold of the Zealots in their struggle against the Romans. Then, visit the acclaimed Ahava Cosmetics Visitors Center. We stop for lunch at the Hod Hotel for a "Dead Sea experience." Float in the healing waters, swim in the hotel pool or maybe teat yourself to the spa. We then drive north to our kibbutz in the Galilee. Overnight at Kibbutz Lavi Resort (new wing) (B, L, D) Sunday JERUSALEM, OLD CITY AND NEW CITY Enter the walls of the Old City through the Dung Gate and visit the Davidson Center Archaeological Park then continue to the Westem Wall - the Kotel. From there we proceed to a tour of the Kotel Tunnels, followed by a walk through the colorful bazaar the shuk. We continue to the Shrine of the Book at the Israel Museum and then we travel to the Government Compound, Supreme Court and the Knesset (Israeli Parliament). Our afternoon ends with a walk down Ben- Yehuda Pedestrian Mall for browsing and shopping. In the evening, we enjoy a 66th Israel anniversary gala celebration including dinner, wine, music Wednesday SAFED, SEA OF GALILEE, GOLAN HEIGHTS Begin the day in Safed, one of the four holy cities in Israel and the center of Kabala. Visit the ancient synagogues, artist colony and candle factory. Then we return to the Sea of Galilee and relax on a boat cruise on the Kinneret (Sea of Galilee) to Kibbutz Ein Gev where we enjoy the local St. Peter's fish for lunch. Following lunch, we ascend the Golan Heights for a breathtaking view that spans the topography and allows us to envision the battles that took place here during the Six Day War in 1967. Afterwards, we visit the renowned Golan Winery to share its vision and tastes. Time permitting, continue to Nazareth to see the famous Church of Annunciation, the largest Basilica in the Middle East In the evening, we will enjoy a presentation from a kibbutz member about kibbutz life and its history. Overnight and dinner at Kibbutz Lavi Resort (new wing) (B, L, D) and rich aromas as everyone prepares for Shabbat. Overnight and Shabbat dinner at Herods on Tel Aviv Beach (B, D) Thursday ACRE, HAIFA, CAESAREA. TEL AVIV Drive to Acre, visit the Crusader Knights' Hall and the recently excavated underground streets. We continue to the picturesque mountain city of Haifa. We enjoy the panoramic view of the bay, harbor, and the magnificent Bahai Shrine and Gardens. Then on to Caesarea the ancient capital of Roman Judea. Relive Roman life with a short movie presentation. See the ancient aqueduct and walk among the ruins and magnificent amphitheater on the Mediterranean Sea. Overnight and dinner at Herods on Tel Aviv Beach (B, D) Sunday INDEPENDENCE HALL, PALMACH MUSEUM, JAFFA In the morning, we experience Independence Hall and the establishment and declaration of the State of Israel in 1948. Then visit the Palmach Museum and join the group of young Palmach recruits from its military inception until the end of the War of Independence. In the afternoon, we walk through the picturesque alleys of Old Jaffa and enjoy its historic atmosphere. Farewell Dinner at a specialty restaurant. (B, D) The bus will take us this evening to the airport where we will board our return flight to the USA. Friday AYALON INSTITUTE, CARMEL MARKET, TEL AVIV This morning we drive to Ayalon Institute, a secret arms factory hidden under a kibbutz. Afterwards continue to Tel Aviv and visit the famous Carmel Market and Nachlat BenYamin arts & crafts market. Observe the busy pace Monday ARRIVAL IN USA Saturday TEL AVIV, SHABBAT At leisure in Tel Aviv for rest and relaxation. You may opt to relax on the beach or visit one of the museums that are open on Shabbat. Maybe take a stroll along the Mediterranean Sea Promenade to the old port of Tel Aviv that has been transformed into a new and vibrant dining, entertainment and shopping experience. Overnight and dinner at the Herods on Tel Aviv Beach (B, D)
