So plan your trip, hop on board, swipe your U-Pass and hit the road! Here’s how to use Just Click: When will the next bus arrive? Use Text4Next! 1. Enter your starting point, destination and when you want to go. 2. Choose fastest trip, fewest transfers or shortest walk to your destination. 3. You’ll get a complete trip plan with where to catch the bus and when. Text 4 Next is OCTA’s new text messaging program that lets you use your cell phone to get the next 3 scheduled times the bus will arrive at your stop. Simply: 1. Text 628246 (OCTAGO) 2. Type the key word (bus), your stop number and your route number. Example: bus 3563 71 3. You’ll get the next 3 scheduled bus arrival times for that stop, based on the time the text message was sent. Take Route 79 from Campus and transfer to Route 57 at the Jamboree/University stop. Grab your U-Pass and jump on Route 59 if you want to visit The District in Tustin. Of course you can keep riding and visit Old Towne Orange or the Santa Ana Arts District. OCTA’s Route 79 is the most direct way for you to travel to Fashion Island in Newport Beach. It’s just a short 15-minute ride from University Center to all those shops and restaurants. Head north on Route 175 and travel to the Woodbridge Movies Five, a discount theater where you can catch a movie for as little as $1.
