Day 1:
Arrival in Baku
Meeting at the airport, transfer to the hotel
Check-in at 4 * hotel in the city center, check-in at the hotel and free time till the evening.
Excursion 1: Walking tour in the famous Nizami street.
Nizami Street is a large pedestrian and shopping street in downtown Baku, Azerbaijan, named after famed classical poet
Nizami Ganjavi. The traffic - free segment, which begins at the Fountains Square and ends at the Rashid Behbudov Street,
is commonly known as Torgovaya ("the merchant street" in Russian).
Dinner at Karvansaray Restaurant with traditional music and local meals or any other similar restaurant.
Karvansaray Restaurant is one of the oldest traditional restaurants in Baku, Azerbaijan. You will enjoy traditional Azeri food
with local wine and a splendid show.

Excursion 1: Baku Highland Park with funicular.
Excursion 2: Old City-“Icheri Sheher” (including Palace of the Shirvanshahs and Maiden Tower)
Old City or Inner City is the historical core of Baku. Baku was divided into two sections: Ichari Shahar and Bayir
Shahar. The Inner City was the main part. In December 2000, the Old City of Baku, including the Palace of the
Shirvanshahs and Maiden Tower, became the first location in Azerbaijan to be classified as a World Heritage
Site by UNESCO.
Excursion 3: Flag Square and Carpet Museum
The Azerbaijan Carpet Museum is the treasury of Azerbaijan national Culture. Established for researching, keeping
and displaying carpets and carpet items, as well as applied art works, The Museum has the largest collection of
Azerbaijan carpets in the world, of different weaving techniques and materials.

Excursion 4: Ateshgah (The Fire Worshippers' Temple)
Excursion 5: Yanar Dag (Fire Mountain)
The Baku Ateshgah or "Fire Temple" is a castle-like religious structure in Surakhani, a suburb of greater Baku,
Azerbaijan. "Atash" is the Persian word for fire. The pentagonal complex, which has a courtyard surrounded by
cells for monks and a tetra pillar-altar in the middle, was built during the 17th and 18th centuries. It was abandoned
after 1883 when oil and gas plants were established in the vicinity. It is one of the most important centers of
Zoroastrianism in the history.

Excursion 1: Qala Archaeological and Ethnographic Museum Complex
The Qala Archaeological and Ethnographic Museum Complex in the open air to preserve the monuments in the
territory of the Qala State History and Ethnography Museum and enrich the Preserve by bringing in archaeological
finds discovered in Absheron. Petroglyphs covering the period from the 3rd and 2nd millennia B.C. to the Middle
Ages, gavaldash (tambourine stone), ceramics, domestic and adornment items, weapons and coins, conserved
remnants of an ancient residential complex etc. found in the Absheron peninsula were placed at the Complex.
Museums:"Qala" Archaeological and Ethnographic Museum Complex , “Qala” Castle
Museum and “Qala” Antiques Museum.
During the excursion, you may learn to bake bread, weave, iron forge from professional
masters for extra payment.

Excursion 1: Gobustan National Park (reserve) and Mud Volcanoes.
Gobustan National Park officially Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape is a hill and mountain site occupying the
southeast end of the Big Caucasian Ridge in Azerbaijan, mainly in the basin of Jeyrankechmaz River, between the
rivers Pirsaat and Sumgait. In 1966 Gobustan was declared a national historical landmark of Azerbaijan in an
attempt to preserve the ancient carvings, relics, mud volcanoes and gas-stones in the region.
