To use a rear view camera, the REVERSE GEAR SIGNAL wire connection is requi red. For details, see "Installation/ Connection". (-+ 20) Selects the view angle. 16:9 I 4:3: Selects the aspect ratio. When a rear view camera is connected, the rear view screen is displayed when you shift the gear to the reverse (R) position. • Check the safety of your surroundings with your eyes before backing up. Restores the default settings. 10 Blueto oth {Only for KD-AV41 BT) Information for using Bluetooth®devices Connecting a Bluetooth device 0 Bluetooth® To use a Bluetooth device (mobile phone or audio player), pair the device and the unit. Pairing allows Bluetooth devices to communicate with each other. • Use a Bluetooth device compatible with Bluetooth 3.0. • You can pair the device and the unit using SSP (Secure Simple Pairing) which on ly requires confirmation. • Once a device and the unit are paired, the unit is registered on the device. When you next use the device with the unit, you can connect the device and the unit by selecting from the registered device list on your device. • One device can be connected at a time . Bluetooth is a short-range wireless radio communication technology for mobile devices such as mobile phones, portable PCs, and other devices. Bluetooth devices can be connected without cables and communicate with each other. Notes • While driving, do not perform complicated operations such as dialing numbers, using the phone book, etc. When you perform these operations, stop your car in a safe place. • Some Bluetooth devices may not connect to this unit depending on the Bluetooth version of the device. • This unit may not work for some Bluetooth devices. • Connecting conditions may vary depending on your environment. • For some Bluetooth devices, the device is disc~mnected when the unit is turned off. Standards: If any defects should be found in aJVC product within the applicable terms. necessary repairs shall be made at no cost to the purchaser for parts or labour when JVC acknowledges that such detects are due to faulty material or workmanship. 1. (d) Any JVC product tampered with, adjusted or repaired by any party other than JVC or authorized JVC Service Centre personnel. (e) Any JVC products on which the serial number has been defaced, modified or removed. (I) Maintenance, cleaning or periodic check-up (g) Conversion to foreign or domestic voltage or frequency. (h) Any JVC product without the Canadian Electrical Safety Regulations ID. (i) Any JVC products used for commercial or institutional, rental, or display purposes. (m) FOR AUTO PRODUCTS Warranty does not cover elimination of car static or electrical interferences. cleaning of head. adjustments. or labour cost lor the removal or reinstallation of the unit for repair. 4. Exclusion of All Other Express Warranties: This warranty constitutes the entire express warranty given by JVC for JVC products and nodealer or service centre personnel or his, its or their agent or employee is, or areauthorized to extend or enlarge this warranty on behalf of JVC. 2.
