Balloon Ride at Flag City Balloonfest XVI The 2015 Flag City Balloonfest will be one of the most memorable experiences of your lifetime. That is, if you sign up for one of our paid Hot Air Balloon rides. The general public is invited to participate in this opportunity on Friday morning, Friday evening, Saturday morning and Saturday evening August 7th and 8th, 2015, at Emory Adams Park in Findlay, Ohio. To sign up for this once in a lifetime event, complete the application form, waiver of liability and submit with your payment of $250.00 for each person, made payable to Rides @ Flag City Balloonfest 2015. The full payment is due no later than July 19, 2015. This is a first come, first serve opportunity for your choice of day and time. Each flight is limited to 10 people and will last approximately one hour. Rides will not be scheduled until payment is received. Mail application, payment and passenger release form to Dan Clinger, Balloon Ride Coordinator, % Flag City Balloonfest, 2526 Foxbury Lane, Findlay, Ohio 45840. Balloon Ride Information and Restrictions Paid balloon rides will take place Friday morning and evening and Saturday morning and evenings August 7th and 8th at 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. at Emory Adams Park. The balloon ride does not wait for passengers so make sure that you arrive at least one half hour before scheduled flights. There will be no refunds for missed flights due to late arrival. A passenger cancellation refund of $225.00 will be reimbursed only if that space can be replaced with another passenger. All flights are weather dependent and the Pilot-in-Command will make the final decision on flying conditions. If we have a canceled flight, you will have an opportunity for a make-up flight on Sunday morning August 9th, 2015 at 7:00 a.m. If your flight is canceled and there is not an opportunity to do a make-up flight, or to reschedule at a later date, the Flag City Balloonfest will refund $225.00 of the original fee. Due to the incurred expenses for the ride balloon, $25.00 of the fee will not be refundable.
