Member Direct investment option fact sheet How to register for the Member Direct investment option AustralianSuper’s Member Direct investment option gives you access to S&P/ASX 300 shares, Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs), term deposits and many more features. You must be an AustralianSuper member with at least $10,000 in your account to register. How do I access the Member Direct investment option? Registering for the first time You follow a three step log-in process to register for the Member Direct online platform for the first time. These steps are described in detail overleaf. You access the Member Direct investment option through an online platform. The Member Direct online platform is separate to your online AustralianSuper account so you need to register and create a new log in. It’s where you: Your online AustralianSuper account will direct you to Member Online when you: Once registered, you can use this platform to: •• View your super account •• Make an investment choice •• Access calculators and tools •• Update your beneficiaries •• Access forms to manage your super •• Invest in shares, ETFs and term deposits •• Switch between investment options •• Access market research and company analysis Future visits Once registered, you can access the Member Direct online platform by: www.australiansuper.com 1300 300 273 •• Bookmarking the Member Direct online platform page •• Logging in to your online account at www.australiansuper.com and clicking on the ‘Login to Member Direct’ button 1 20212 12/11 Member Direct investment option | How to register Member Direct investment option fact sheet Follow these steps to register for the first time Step 1 – Log in to your online AustralianSuper account www.australiansuper.com and 1 Visit click Log in. If you haven’t set up 1 your new online account select the ‘first time users register here’ link under the Login button you’ve logged in to your 2 Once online AustralianSuper account the ‘My Account’ page will appear. Click on ‘Update my super investments’ on the left hand navigation menu. If you’re an ASX200 member a ‘Register for Member Direct’ button will appear on this page. 2 ‘Update my super 3 The investments’ page will appear. Scroll down the page and click on the ‘Register for Member Direct’ button You will now be transferred to Member Online where you’ll need to log in again. If you’ve forgotten your Member Online password or don’t have one, click the ‘Need a password’ button 1 you’ve logged into Member 2 Once Online, click on ‘Investments’ on the side navigation menu then click on the ‘Member Direct’ sub-menu underneath. 2 ‘Member Direct investment 3 The option’ page will now appear. Click on the ‘Register’ button. 1 ‘Confirm your details’ 2 The screen will appear. Enter and confirm your email address and create your user name and password 2 Member Direct investment option | How to register Step 3 – Register for the Member Direct online platform cont. ‘Cash transfer’ screen 3 The will appear. You need to transfer in at least $200 from your other AustralianSuper option/s into your Member Direct transaction account. If you’re already an ASX200 member you skip this step and go straight to step 4. 3 ‘Read and accept 4 The terms and conditions’ screen will appear. Read the terms and conditions and press ‘Yes’ if you accept them. 4 Member Direct investment option | How to register Step 3 – Register for the Member Direct online platform cont. You’re now ready to explore the features of the Member Direct online platform and buy and sell shares, ETFs and term deposits. Who can invest in the Member Direct option? Need help? You must be an AustralianSuper member with $10,000 or more in your account and you must keep a minimum of $5,000 in one or more of AustralianSuper’s PreMixed or DIY Mix investment options. If you have any problems registering or logging in to the Member Direct online platform, please call us on 1300 300 273. If you’re not an AustralianSuper member you can join by visiting www.australiansuper.com and selecting ‘Open a super account’ or calling us on 1300 300 273.
