Tickets are $10 for residents, $12 for nonresidents and include dinner, DJ & dancing, a keepsake photo, and a Halloween treat bag for the kids. Reservations must be made in advance starting Oct 5 for residents by calling the Quirk Cultural Center at 330-971-8425. Space is limited so register early! SPOOKTACULAR! Join your friends & neighbors at this fun event on Saturday, October 31 from 2-4 pm at the newly restored Keyser Barn in Keyser Park (851 W. Bath Rd). Admission & participation in the Keyser Barn Trick or Treat are FREE! Enter the Costume Contest or bring a pre-carved pumpkin for the carving contest. Participants must be seated at the stage by 2:15 pm for the costume contest. A $5 activity stamp is available for unlimited access to petting zoo, hayrides, pony rides, and more. Youth Sports CFABA (Youth Baseball) Registraion- Saturdays, 2/6, 2/13, and 3/5 at the Quirk Cultural Center from 10 am-1 pm. Bring birth certificate, registration fee, & a parent to sign permission form. Ages 5-18. Most reasonable prices to play baseball in the city! Dance & Gymnastics Classes- offered on Saturday mornings at the Quirk Cultural Center. Tap, Tumbling, and Jazz, Pre-Ballet, and Gymnastics! Wear your costume over a bathing suit and parade around The Natatorium before getting a picture- bring a camera! Enjoy open swim afterwards until 9 pm. Visit The Natatorium’s welcome desk for more info and reservations. 28th Annual Halloween Creative Writing Contest All area middle & high school students are invited to show their spooky side by submitting an original Halloween themed short story or poem. Entries may be submitted to any English teacher between 9/14-10/2. Entries must be 350 words or less, typed, & double-spaced. Include a cover page with title, author’s name, school, grade, & English teacher’s name. Trophies awarded 10/30. 58th Annual Window Painting Contest Show off your artistic abilities by joining in on this fun Halloween tradition! All middle & high school students are invited to submit an 8 ½” x 11” Halloween themed drawing to their art teacher by 10/2. Students chosen to paint their drawings on area windows will be notified by 10/9; painting will take place October 10-25. Winners will receive a Halloween trophy! This enchanting father/daughter tradition will be held on Fri, Feb 5 & Sat, Feb 6 from 6:308:30 pm, & Sun, Feb 7 from 1-3 pm at the Quirk Cultural Center. Girls must be 4+ years old to attend.
