Mongoose Truck and Van Jetters
are specifically designed to eliminate the need to tow a
trailer. All Mongoose Model Jetters are available in a
truck or van pack option. The smaller 123 Van Pack
allows you to have a quality jetting system without
having to sacrifice your storage area. For customers
that require a larger 18, 25, or 40 GPM system and need
as much storage as they can get we recommend
upgrading to a larger fully enclosed truck. Full size
truck mounts are also available.

The "Avanti” is a high speed rotational nozzle designed with a hardened
steel drilling fixture. The drilling action of this nozzle means it will bore
through even the toughest obstructions. This nozzle has rear jets only
(no front jets) which means it has a much stronger pull and thrust ability
than standard penetrating nozzles.

ROTOMAX
ROTATIONAL NOZZLES
The "Rotomax" nozzle uses a controlled rotational cleaning head which
rotates at a lower rotational speed than traditional spinning nozzles. This
reduced speed rotation means jet spray contact time is dramatically increased
thus allowing for superior cleaning of pipe walls. The Rotomax also has a
forward off-set jet that cuts and provides root maintenance.

SEWER JET HOSE
Piranha® hose is constructed from materials selected to provide rugged and reliable
service under even the most severe and demanding conditions found in high pressure
sewer cleaning. Every Piranha sewer cleaning hose is constructed with a polyolefin tube
which provides maximum resistance to the hydrolysis commonly associated with other
thermoplastic tube materials. Reinforcement with high tensile polyester fiber
contributes to an exceptionally low volumetric expansion rate and eliminates loss of
strength from moisture absorption. A polyether-urethane cover provides exceptional
cut, abrasion and fungus resistance. And, lastly, all components are bonded together to
maximize fitting retention and wear resistance, and to provide smaller minimum bend
radii.

HIGH PRESSURE
“LEADER HOSE” is more flexible than jet hose and will help the operator start
the jet hose down the sewer pipe. The PSI rating of the high pressure Leader Hose
must not exceed that of the attached Jet Hose. This is an important safety feature
that must be utilized. The use of a high pressure Leader Hose will allow the
operator to direct the nozzle quickly up the sewer invert. It will also enable the
operator to turn the pressure handle off and eliminate a live nozzle coming into
the manhole. Male and Female fittings are standard.

MANHOLE TOOL
The “DEBRIS STOPPER” keeps operators safely out of the manhole
and often eliminates the need for expensive vacuum machines. Solid back
catches debris and perforated holes allow water to exit manhole and flow
down pipe. Horizontal bar keeps stopper in manhole. Insert the Debris
Stopper in the manhole by using a ¾” pipe (three – 4ft. sections) and rope.
Jet the line until the Debris Stopper is full. Lift it to the top of the manhole
and dump it into a steel drum or similar container. Cleans lines 6” to 10”
in diameter.

WARNING
● Always wear a hard hat and safety glasses when operating high pressure water nozzles.
● All operators must read and fully understand all manuals related to these nozzles and tools and the
machines being used to power them “before” use. All warning labels must be read and understood. Failure
to heed these warnings may result in an accident causing personal injury or death.
● Always inspect sewer hose before use of high pressure water nozzles and high pressure jetting
machines. Be sure to replace the sewer hose with new and fully tested sewer hose if any defects such as:
hose movement in fitting; damaged cover exposing internal fabric reinforcement; cover blisters or bubbles;
hose kinking or collapse; or fitting cutting into hose.
● If freezing temperatures occur, make sure all nozzles and jetting machines are drained and purged of
any water from entire system, including sewer hose. All units, systems, nozzles and tools must be fully
thawed out to be certain that no ice is present.
● Never point the nozzle or any high pressure hose or wash down gun towards an individual since it could
cause bodily harm.
● Do not operate these nozzles or tools or the machines being used to power them in excess of their rated
capacities, speed, pressure ratings or temperature.
● In order to avoid possible property damages and personnel injuries when handling these nozzles and
tools, we recommend that the nozzles and tools be exposed to gradual pressure only after they have been
set and secured inside the pipe (with a nozzle extension), away from the operator. Sewer Equipment
Company of America is not responsible for damage or injury resulting from the improper or unintended use
of these nozzles and tools.
● Some type of nozzle extension must be used between the end of the hose and the nozzle. Extensions
keep the nozzle in the center of the pipe that is being cleaned and they minimize the possibility of nozzle
going up a house service or reversing and exiting a manhole towards the operator.
● Be sure to use hose guides to protect the sewer hose when it is traveling around a bend or corner.
Protecting the sewer hose from unnecessary wear will decrease the possibility of a hose burst.
● Never operate a high pressure nozzle or tool from a flooded manhole. Operator must know the nozzle
has entered the line properly or personal injury may result when the water flow is turned on.
● Safety must always be the first and most important step when using high pressure nozzles and jetting
machines. Follow the “Recommended Practice” of your sewer cleaning associations: ASTM, Water Environment Federation, NSF, ISTT, NASTT, NASSCO or local authority.
