Giving Grace
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone,
the new has come! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself
through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was
reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against
them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are
therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal
through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God
(2 Corinthians 5:17-20).
We’re not only to be the _____________ of grace; we’re to be the
________________ of grace.
And now, brothers, we want you to know about the grace that God has
given the Macedonian churches. Out of the most severe trial, their overflowing joy and their extreme poverty welled up in rich generosity. For I
testify that they gave as much as they were able, and even beyond their
ability (2 Corinthians 8:1-3).
_________________ is the most tangible way to ___________________.
Entirely on their own, they urgently pleaded with us for the privilege of
sharing in this service to the saints (2 Corinthians 8:4).
Anyone can ______________

But just as you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in
complete earnestness and in your love for us—see that you also excel in
this grace of giving (2 Corinthians 8:7).
So I thought it necessary to urge the brothers to visit you in advance and
finish the arrangements for the generous gift you had promised. Then it
will be ready as a generous gift, not as one grudgingly given (2 Corinthians 9:5).

Thank you very much for your
help with Thanksgiving Day in the City!
With your help and God’s blessings,
MRCC provided meals for 1,460 people
in the community. Those meals were
delivered to 150 locations in Edmond,
Oklahoma City, Luther, and the surrounding area. In addition, approximately 200 of our 500 volunteers ate
lunch together after the work was
completed. If you are one of those
folks, you can attest with me that our
volunteers are fabulous cooks!
We hope that you were blessed
by serving and that our meal recipients
were blessed by receiving. Please continue to pray for those who received,
that their life situations may be improved and that they will feel the love
of God and His church.
Again, thanks for your help last
week. All of your good work made this
year’s event go as smoothly as ever.
