The world is pure colour, an infinite range of combinations that create multiple emotions. Block of primary colours that transport you to distant exotic natural worlds. Her idea is to present scarves for which every woman can find a different use. In turn a stole, a scarf or a sarong, they can both add a touch of elegance to a simple black dress. And they are large size, three meters. She likes to create the romantic effect of the scarf blowing in the wind. An accessory to dress. A multi purpose accessory. A unique accessory. Printed on a fluid, pure silk Georgette crépe, Fosca's long stoles are very recognizable with their broad graphic patterns inspired by her passion for painting and architecture. Her geometric designs come from her architectural roots. Like in painting, she likes to play with multiple dimensions, moving from two to three and four dimensions. Each side printed with a different design, the perfect balance between two intertwining stories, breaking all conventions; a unique style that requires her to use a stamping technique to obtain a unique special effect. The production is in Lyon, for generations the site of the "savoir faire" of silk, where the taste for extreme detail and quality is king and where the use of inkjet technique was pioneered. The inkjet allows for larger scale drawing and only the best quality French silk is selected for her scarves. The seams are perfect; each scarf undergoing many controls to avoid that even the minimal imperfection is overlooked; each scarf hand sewn by magical hands that know exactly what colour to use for each of the scarves. A foulard Fosca Bertrán is romance, sensuality, elegance, extreme quality, colour, joy, personality, art object, trendy, an accessory that makes us unique. LUCE SHOOTING EVA QUINTANA LUCE This is a very special collection and as indicated in its name, its light shows you the way. A polar star that takes you to magical places. Luce, or light, is the beginning of a new life, full of new challenges and things to learn. This is my first collection after many years. LUCE LUCE MUGEN SHOOTING QUIQUE JIMENEZ MUGEN I am settled in Paris and still working for Karl Lagerfeld. My collection is now becoming known. I do fashion shows in Milan and Paris and sell to multibrand shops worldwide; we continue working out the house I bought. I am fully integrated in the world of fashion and glitz but it neither attracts me nor fascinates me. I very much like the process of creation and the aesthetics are like that of architecture. My designs are becoming more sophisticated. Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Monica Bellucci, Mario Testino, Vincent Cassel y Emmanuel Beart have scarves from this collection. MUGEN MUGEN MUGEN MUGEN NEO SHOOTING JORGE APESTEGUIA NEO This is my first official collection. What an adventure. I had just relocated to Paris to work with Karl Lagerfeld and decided to launch my own label. After the first fashion show with Lagerfeld Gallery, where everything is hand painted, I decided “no more” and decided to focus my attention on design. It was then that I met my manufacturers, a small company of craftsmen in Lyon who work with love and ethics. Quality and professionalism are their main concerns and, after eight years, I am still working with them. Penelope Cruz and Queen Rania of Jordan have scarves from this collection. NEO NEO SID SHOOTING ERIK MADIGAN HECK SID The name Sid comes from the word YES. Yes to life, yes to expand and yes to oneself and all one’s fears. SID SID SUAVE SHOOTING QUIQUE JIMENEZ SUAVE The last of my Paris collections. Some designs are more complex. This collection is limited to 30 pieces instead of 100. SUAVE WHITE SHOOTING EVA QUINTANA WHITE This collection was created after the first private sale before Christmas 2012 which was very successful. I understood the value of human contact. The chose the name "White" because everything is born white and in this color goes with everything you want. Also it's spring, everything blooms with pale colors, the first daisies in the grass, the first flowers of almond, cherry, apricot trees. It’s life reborn from purity, from the retreat of a winter! WHITE ABOUT LUCE FOSCA BERTRÁN Discovered by Karl Lagerfeld in 2003, an encounter that radically changed her young artist's life and it was the beginning of a long passionate collaboration and the launching platform of the atelier Fosca in Paris in the following years. Since then, Fosca has collaborated with many fashion designers including Balenciaga and Juanjo Oliva. Her Couture scarves have become a fashion icon worn by stars and princesses and Fosca has designed exclusive products for Penelope Cruz, Queen Rania of Jordan, Salma Hayeck, Eva Green, Monica Bellucci, Vincent Cassel, Sophie Marceau, Lou Doillon... Born in Paris of an Italian mother and a Spanish father, her work is inspired by the different cultures of the countries she lived in and travelled to since childhood, when her father’s business imposed on the family a nomadic lifestyle. Due to her frequent travels, Fosca felt the desire to create an accessory that was easy to carry around, that could be worn in different ways and that gave her a touch of sophistication no matter what she wore it with. During the years, this idea flourished and Fosca continued to design scarves for herself and her friends while still working as an architect in Ibiza, until the unexpected call to the Maison Lagerfeld. Fosca's education and early work as an architect and designer has a great influence on her creations. Her scarves mix the colors of nature with the graphic lines of industrial drawings. Her style is personal and contemporary; her scarves are works of art resulting from the same experimental and creative process mastered by sculptures and painters. Her products are created to tell a story and express an emotion, a hybrid between fashion and art. © FOSCA BERTRÁN
