The Swallows is a beautiful Victorian property located in the popular coastal village of Overstrand
just a short drive from Cromer. The house is just a 2 minute walk to the sandy beach at one end
of the road, along with the cliff top café, which sells Cromer crab sandwiches, cakes and icecreams. If you time it right you might be able to watch the local fishermen bring in the day’s
catch. At the top end of the road is a pub serving good food and a well stocked local shop and
post office – what more could you want for your Norfolk seaside holiday?!

The house comfortably sleeps 6 with sea views from two of the bedrooms. The rooms are large
and bright and have been stylishly decorated by the owners. The house is particularly suited to
families especially those with young children as the owner makes available for guests use a
travel cot, high chair, buggy and a baby box containing all the useful essentials such as
steriliser, baby warmers and baby monitors – no need to pack your own!

Sitting/dining room: Two large sofas and armchair, dining table and seating for 8, wood
burner (first fire laid in colder months), huge bay window. Flat screen TV with full sky package
(from 22.10.16), stereo with iPod docking, Wii games console (plays DVDs also).
Kitchen: Single oven/grill, gas hob, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer
(additional fridge and a freezer in the shed)
First floor
Bedroom 1: Master bedroom with king size bed, chest of drawers and wardrobe. Ensuite
shower room & sea views from the bay window.
Bedroom 2: Twin room – two full size single beds and a wardrobe, great for children.
Family bathroom: Walk in shower, bath, basin & WC
Second floor
Bedroom 3: King size bed, wardrobe and dressing table with drawers. Flat screen TV with Free
Sat channels and DVD player. Sea views from the velux windows!
Landing area: Perfect for the travel cot

The Swallows is a perfect get away house. Ideal location, really no need to drive any where once
you arrive. Would definitely stay there again. This was are second stay with Kett, no need to use
any other company, always happy to help.

A superb house with lots of space and almost every possible holiday requirement met by the
owner. Thank you for a lovely holiday base. Recommend Sea Marge Hotel, Overstrand, for
excellent seafood and the Bann Thai, Church Street, Cromer, for superb thai food.

Lovely spacious, light & airy house in wonderful location. Equipment and furnishings to a very

This house is beautiful and I highly recommend it! It is right by the beach, a lovely pub and a
corner shop. We went as two families with 3 kids between us aged 2, 4 and 5. There was
everything we needed for the kids including a travel cot, buggy, monitors, toys, books and
games, so we didn't have to fill the car with necessary bulky things for small people. The beds
were comfortable which is always a big thing in my opinion. We will definitely be returning!

Lovely, comfortable house with everything you need in a great location - a short distance from
the beach. Doesn't need to be summer to enjoy it!
