HCR Manor Care
After a hospital stay,
many patients require
additional
medical
and rehabilitation services before returning
home. For many patients this reality can
be overwhelming. At
HCR ManorCare we
understand the importance of this “next
step” that many patients must take on
their road to recovery. For this reason we
continue to invest in
our ability to provide
a level of experience
and expertise to patients who need postacute rehab in order
to achieve a better
outcome. Advanced
therapy modalities are
available, offering patients and therapists
access to state of the
art equipment that
enhances the rehab
course of treatment.
With a higher rate of

most post-acute providers, lower unnecessary re-hospitalization rates, and higher

Longmeadow Farms
A Family Business
Since 1993
Welcome to Longmeadow Farm! Started in 1993, we originally began by selling
pumpkins for Halloween. But it wasn’t
long before Bradley
Burke, Longmeadow’s
owner, felt that something more was in
order. And with that
decision, our apple
orchard was planted.
Today, Longmeadow
Farm has 15 varieties
of apples along with
our pumpkins and so
much more.
Apple picking season at Longmeadow
brings new varieties
almost every weekend. Our season runs
from the first weekend
in September through
the last weekend in
October.
Though,
sometimes the season
can be longer depending on the weather! We
are open on those Saturdays and Sundays
from 9AM to 5PM.
To find what types of
apples we have and
when they are avail-
able, see our apple varieties page.
Our apples are our
main attraction, but
we offer so much
more! We also have
pick your own pumpkins for Halloween,
and our berry patch
with raspberries and
blackberries. Not to

Heating and A/C Tips
From The Pros
(NAPSI)—Next to
your home itself, a
home comfort system
is one of the largest
investments you will
make. That’s why the
decision to purchase
a heat pump, gas furnace or central air
conditioner is a significant one—a decision
that requires careful
thought and research.
To help you make
an intelligent decision
about heating, ventilation and air-conditioning
(HVAC)
equipment, here are 10
common questions—
and
answers—from
the experts at the Coleman brand of Johnson
Controls.
1. Is installing a central HVAC system really necessary?
In new homes or
remodels, a central
home comfort system
provides the highest
level of overall comfort, indoor air quality
and humidity control.
2. Should I repair
or replace my existing
system?
As a rule of thumb,
replace your existing
home comfort system
when repairs cost 30
percent of a new pur-
chase—or when utility
bills have increased
50 percent as a result
of older, less-efficient
systems that use more,
higher-priced electricity.
3. How much can I
save with new equipment?
Air-conditioning
and heating equipment consume about
44 percent of a home’s
culation or an energy
analysis to determine
your operating costs.
After getting to know
your needs, he or she
can customize a system just for you.
5. How can I be sure
I’m selecting the right
contractor?
Seek out a contractor who is associated
with a recognized
brand. If the contrac-

ENERGY STAR-qualified systems are as
much as 60 percent
more efficient than
10-year-old
equipment.
4. How do I select
the right heating/
cooling system?

• For a higher-quality finish and more

This will also provide

“Dinner With the Doctors” Sept. 25th!
Back, Neck or Joint Pain?
De-Flame Your Inflammation First!
Learn about de-flaming your blood inflammation with seed nutrition therapy! Used by the
ancients over 3000 yrs. ago by science not studies. Learn why doctors are getting away from
what I believe are harmful nutrition blockers. Fish oil (why folks burp on it!). Asparatame,
Fluoride, canola oil, soy oil & even flax seed is considered a phyto-estrogen!
At 56 years of age I was suffering for over 25 years with inflammation of my blood and did not
know it, diagnosed with osteo-arthritis, compresseed discs L1-L5, bone spurs, agnozing pain
even when I did not move. living on naprosen, aspirin, ibuprofen & flexeral. I refused to take
the narcotics doctors would prescribe for my pain which was caused by inflammation, in fact
all disease & illness is now said to be the cause of all pain and inflammation. Smart doctors
help folks to balance blood ph, homeostasis, and de-flame the blood first, get to the root of
the problem, do everything you can to get rid of the inflammation before having any
procedure. Always get a 2nd opinion!
23 months ago I got on a combination of cold pressed black rapsberry seed, grape
chardonnay seed, the bibles black cumin seed, and the good D-Ribose. Look up ingredients at
www.pubmed.gov. This changed my life. - These 4 ingredients magnify each other and have been
used by hospitals to help reverse the inflammation & side effects of chemo-therapy. On
you-tube type in: “Rain soul blood analysis.”
Seeds are over 20 times more effective than any extract. Juice, herb and are loaded with good
omega 3, 6’s & 9’s. Or go to my website www.seedsfromgod.com. Hope to see you at “Dinner with
the Doctors”
Friday, Sept. 25th 6-9 p.m. Southmoore Golf Club.
