Kustov Be healthy and happy! 2 GENERAL DESCRIPTION Individual Respiration Training Device IRT-01 is used in order to raise body immune and adaptive abilities, to prevent and treat various diseases, to rehabilitate human’s body and to restore human’s health under conditions of negative (including radiation) ecological and manufacturing factors, under conditions of stress situations. «The Third Breathing» has phenomenal medicinal characteristics that let it use for many purposes: as a pneumoresistor, hypoxicer, hypercapnicator, energy generator, endogenous ionizer, psychocorrector, immunomodulator. ! Training Device «The Third Breathing» is a device for individual use! PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION Fill up the training device with 20 ml of water. Breathe in and breathe out through the training device. Measuring glass or syringe......................................1 piece 5 8 6 7 4 2 9 3 1 MAINTENANCE AND KEEPING RULES Before making exercise for the first time and after every use of IRT-01 wash all the details of the device with warm water with a dishwasher detergent. If it’s necessary it’s recommended to treat all device’s details with 3% solution of hydrogen peroxide with 0,5% solution of a dishwasher detergent for 30 minutes at temperature of 18 - 24 °С. Don’t use the training device if its details have changed their colour, if there are splits or other defects which make the device useless. In such a case you should apply for some information to the shop where the device has been bought. Keep the device in a handy place and prevent direct solar radiation and other sources of heat. GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS • • • Train your breathing being in a quiet and good mood. If you fell unwell, don’t increase your breath-out, water volume and training time. Train as usual. Since the effect of training is long-term, train ONCE a day. The increase of the number of trainings a day may cause body overstrain and diseases exacerbation. 5 • • • • • • • • Try not to eat too much food less than 90 minutes before and after the training because a full stomach prevents diaphragm active moving. It causes discomfort and reduces respiration gymnastics effectiveness. People suffering from pancreatic diabetes, stomach ulcer and duodenal ulcer, and expectant mothers should respect their doctor’s recommendations concerning the time of food intake. One of the requirements of success achievement is respiration trainings regularity and gradual increase of exertion. It is necessary to give your body the opportunity to adapt to a new regimen of respiration. It is advisable to train daily and at the same time. You can train at any time but health-giving result after respiration training in the evening (before going to bed between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m.) is higher. It’s necessary to provide your body with vitamins and trace elements in order to achieve the best results. You should take medicine and treatment that have already been prescribed in full accordance with your doctor’s advice. There are reactions of body depuration during the process of respiration training and they can be accompanied by churning of water, abundant saliva, mucus and phlegm secretion. In such a case change the water in the glass and continue training. These manifestations will disappear little by little during the process of body depuration. While your state of health improves during the process of training, you may stop taking medical products or reduce their dose only according to your doctor’s advice! PRELIMINARY STARTING PROCEDURE OF TRAINING DEVICE «THE THIRD BREATHING» It is important to assemble the device correctly (pic. 1). 1. Fill the glass (5) with 9-12 ml (depending on the regimen of your training) of drinking water of room temperature. 2. Adjust the reticulate bottom (7 or 8 depending on the regimen of your training) tight to the inner chamber (6) and put it in the glass (5). 3. Pass the airway (1) through the hole in the glass top (4) and connect it with the inner chamber (6). 4. Cover the glass (5) with the glass top (4) tight, moving it down the airway (1). 5. Put the tip (2) on a free end of the airway (1). ! After assembling the training device it is necessary to check that the inner chamber (6) with the reticulate bottom (7 or 8) adjusted to it is on the bottom of the glass (5). The jar top (3) isn’t used during the respiration training. 6 pic. 1 FIRST OF ALL LET’S LEARN HOW TO USE DIAPHRAGMATIC RESPIRATION This method is based on diaphragmatic (abdominal) type of respiration (pic. 2, 3). Diaphragm is a main respiratory muscle that divides thoracic cavity from abdominal cavity. The diaphragm contracts and moves down when you breathe in. The abdominal wall at that moves forward and the belly protrudes. The diaphragm relaxes and goes up when you breathe out. The abdominal wall at that moves back to spine, the belly tightens. You should train your diaphragmatic respiration without the training device before the training with the training device: 1. Put your arm on your belly; 2. Breathe in with your nose trying to push your arm forward with your belly; 3. Now breathe out with your nose gently and little by little push your belly to spine with your arm; 4. Do several breaths in and breaths out trying not to use your thorax for respiration. Your thorax should be motionless while you breathe in and breathe out! To make it easier, train several times in lying position. HOW TO USE THE TRAINING DEVICE Choose the most comfortable position – either sitting before the table, in your armchair or reclining (pic. 4, 5, 6). Take the device in your hands or put it on the table. Since water level must be horizontal, always hold the device’s glass in vertical position (pic. 7). Put the tip in your mouth, shut your lips tight and begin doing the respiration exercises. 7 Breathing technique with the use of the training device: Breathe in actively during 2 or 3 seconds. Your belly should protrude (pic. 2). Breathe out just after your breathe in. Your belly should move back to spine (pic. 3). Breathe out gently, slowly and smoothly and tighten your belly at the end of breathing out. Disassemble the training device after finishing your training, wash and treat all device’s details and keep it accordance with the recommendations of «Maintenance and Keeping Rules» paragraph. The main criterion of a correct training is your comfortable and good state of health during the training and after it. ! pic. 2 Remember that your respiration must be diaphragmatic! WHAT TO BEGIN WITH First of all it’s necessary to determine the starting level of exertion: water volume, primary duration of respiration and training regimen. Primary water volume is 12 ml. It is recommended to reduce water volume to 9 ml for children and people with weak health. pic. 3 You should use clean water of room temperature. Use the measuring glass coming with this device (9) or an ordinary medical syringe to measure the necessary water volume. Use a watch with a second hand or a stop-watch in order to determine the starting duration of your respiration act (RESPIRATION ACT DURATION): add the duration of your usual and not deep breathing in (2-3 seconds) and the duration of you usual calm breathing in. At that you shouldn’t try to make you respiration act longer or hold your breath. pic. 4 pic. 5 pic. 6 8 • • Healthy people can begin using this training device at personal health improvement regimen (see below) at once. Children and people suffering from any diseases should begin with self-purification regimen (see below). SELF-PURIFICATION REGIMEN During primary stage (self-purification regimen) of training it’s necessary to normalize the function of body purifying systems Correctly Incorrectly (lymphatic system, kidneys, liver, bowels and etc.). In such a way a powerful program of self-purification is activated in your body. Then when you start training other body systems this program will continue functioning. It’s very important that health recovery programs should be activated exactly in this order: first of all it’s necessary to purify the body to the necessary degree, to create the optimal conditions so that pic. 7 body cells will be able to reveal their reserves. If personal health improvement program is activated before self-purification program, slags and toxins sudden coming out will cause state of health worsening and diseases exacerbation. You should use the reticulate bottom with LARGE holes (7) for self-purification program activation. At this stage children and people with weak health should breathe in with their nose because it is an easier way of respiration. Water volume at that is 9 or 12 ml. Primary training duration is 1 minute once a day. Water volume used in the training device remains permanent during the whole period of self-purification regimen. The duration of training should be increased little by little from 1 minute to 20 minutes. Do it steadily adding 1 minute every 3 or 4 days. If during primary stage you can steadily breathe in and breathe out during 20 minutes without any signs of breathlessness or other unpleasant feelings, you are ready to go on to the basic regimen of training (personal health improvement regimen). PERSONAL HEALTH IMPROVING REGIMEN At personal health improvement regimen both breathing in and breathing out should be made with your mouth (through the training device). To prevent air movement through your nose you can press your nose wings with two fingers of your free hand. If you go on to the personal health improvement regimen of training after selfpurification regimen, the duration of your training should be 1 minute. Healthy people may begin with 5 to 10 minutes training duration. At this stage increase water volume, training duration and respiration act duration little by little (see below). It is not allowed to increase more than one parameter during one training. 9 If you increase breathe out time so you shouldn’t increase training duration and vice versa if you increase training duration so you shouldn’t increase respiration act duration and so on. The principle is the following: only one parameter is increased during one cycle (3 to 4 days). TRAINING DURATION INCREASING Increase training duration to 30 minutes as time goes by. Do it little by little adding 1 minute every 3 or 4 days. The maximum training duration for children shouldn’t be more than 16 minutes. RESPIRATION ACT DURATION INCREASING The duration of breathing in in the process of respiration training as a rule isn’t changed. Breath in has usual depth and intensity (2 or 3 seconds). The duration of breathing out in the process of respiration training is increased little by little. To do it you should add to your primary breathing out time 1 second every 3 or 4 days. Remember that the speed of respiration act duration increasing is individual and it may differ greatly for different people. During the process of training the duration of your breathing out may increase to 50 or 60 seconds and even more. When the duration of your breathing out is more than 12 seconds (diagram 1) you might feel uncomfortable (your belly has been tightened to spine but there is still some air in your lungs). In this case it is recommended to divide breathing out into two short ones (6 seconds each) with 1 second pause between them during which you should relax your belly muscles (diagram 2). Breathe in, your belly protrudes. Breathe out just after you breathe in. Begin breathing out during the first 6 seconds, your belly moves back to your spine. Stop breathing out for 1 second and at this moment relax your belly muscles (at the same time your belly protrudes). Continue breathing out during the next 6 seconds, your belly moves back to your spine again. Pause for 1 or 2 seconds. Now breathe in again! Thus your respiration act will consist of one breathing in (2 or 3 seconds) and two breathings out 6 seconds each between which you should relax your belly muscles for 1 second (diagram 2). Continue increasing your respiration act adding 1 second to the last short breathing out (6 seconds) every 3 or 4 days. When the last breathing out duration is 13 seconds, divide it into two ones 6 seconds each and relax your belly muscles between these two short ones (diagram 3). With time your respiration act will consist of one breathing in (2 or 3 seconds) and two, three and even more breathings out 6 seconds each between which you should relax your belly muscles. 10 Then increase your respiration act duration according to your body capacities. You should train at personal health improvement regimen not less than for three months. The sufficient result of training at this regimen will be the achievement of the following characteristics: water volume is 20 ml, training duration is 30 minutes, and respiration act duration is 30-35 seconds. The achievement of this exertion signifies that personal health improvement program is surely activated and that it will continue functioning. REGIMEN OF BODY SPARE CAPACITIES DISCLOSURE At the next stage it is necessary to activate the program for our body spare capacities disclosure in various spheres of life. For that it is necessary to change the character of exertion during training. At this stage of training it is necessary to use reticulate bottom with SMALL holes (8). The use of it results in air quantity reducing under the same conditions (water volume and breathing in duration). Thus while at the stage of personal health improvement the exertion variant through qualitative change of the inspired air was used, at this stage an additional exertion of quantitative change of the inspired air volume is added. NOTICE: RESPIRATION ACT DURATION AND TRAINING TIME MAY BE REDUCED GREATLY DURING THE ADOPTION OF THE REGIMEN OF BODY SPARE CAPACITIES DISCLOSURE TRAINING! IT IS NECESSARY TO DETERMINE COMFORTABLE LEVEL OF EXERTION AGAIN! Start your training in a comfortable regimen and increase the exertion gradually up to the following parameters: training duration is 30 or 40 minutes; Respiration Act Duration is as long as possible (50 or 60 seconds on average). The stage is mastered when two results have been achieved: 1. During the day diaphragmatic breathing is basic for you (i.e. it is natural when you rest). It means that your body works in a new regimen of health maintenance. 2. While training you have achieved the maximum Respiration Act Duration. It means that all body spare capacities have been fully activated. Healthy people need about 3 months to achieve these results. The respiration training program includes the following stages (pic. 9): Recovery stages: • At the first stage function of lungs becomes normal, the training device works as a pneumoresistor and diaphragmatic breathing is mastered. An intensive lymphokinesis starts, the co-ordination of lungs and heart work increases. • At the second stage these mechanisms as well as kidney and large intestine start their main function that is an intensive slags and toxins excreting. Later the effect of this stage remains and the effects of other stages are added. • At the third stage the training device starts working as a hypercapnicator, energy is generated by body cells, the process of immunomodulation starts.
