IMPORTANT This symbol used for specify the danger situations. Ignoring safety information can result in damage to machinery or other materials! SAFETY GUIDELINES WARNING The use of toxic or hazardous materials! This guide has all instructions for lessen the risks of mixing toxic and hazardous materials always read chemical safety data! Analyze the hydraulic parts of the dosing pump and use it's just all parts smooth case. Use available materials for pipes, records, covers, suction and injection valves. Please read the notes below 1,2 and 3 for remove the dosing pump. For taking pressure and draw out the chemicals from the pump head look at "MAINTENANCE" CAUTION Before any service : 1. Disconnect pump from electricity, 2. Release the pressured part from pump head and injection line, 3. Discharge dosing liquid from pump head. R3 Sayfa 3/34 DOSING PUMPS GENERAL ADVICES WARNING Before working on the metering pump, always de-pressurise the discharge line, empty the liquid end and rinse out! Never allow the metering pump to operate when the stop valve on the discharge line is closed, as this can result in the rupture of the discharge line! CAUTION Install pump at a dry place far from heat sources and ambient temperature must be below 40ºC Make electrical connection in electrical rules (3.1). Mount pump as in figure 16 Liquid distances at underside and upper side of pump must be shorter then two meters. Keep pump upper then liquid level ant close tank tightly. NOTE Be cafeful to avoid folding on the pipes IMPORTANT Do not remove the screw caps that on the pump head. R3 Sayfa 4/34 DOSING PUMPS 2. Definition and Features 2.1. Usage The dosing diaphragm is driven by an electromagnet, which is stimulated and controlled by a microprocessor. Chemical feed occurs as a result of pulsed deflections of the dosing diaphragm within the liquid end, which causes pressure differentiation between the suction side, the liquid end cavity and the discharge side. The feed rate is determined by the stroke length and stroking rate The stroke length is adjustable between 0 % and 100 % using the stroke length adjustment knob. When electric pulse released, a spring move back the piston and liquid filled in from suction valve. Usage is easy; the pump does not require lubricating. Therefore, maintenance is zero Equipments used at pump body are special made to protect against to poisonous substances. Pumps produced, at different capacities to use in max 16-bar pressure in a range of 0 to 20 litters per hour. Control knobs on analog models easily change pump capacities. 4.1 Explanations for Analog Models Pump capacity can change easily with the potentiometer on the front panel in analog models. Can be attached the liquid level sensor to the level sensor BNC connector for stopped the pump when chemical finished. Press %10 button (number 14) for increase the pump capacity to %10. Press both arrow keys(UP▲ and DOWN ▼ button ) simultaneously Monitoring 60 sec. and decrease the value. After 1 minute pump turns to using operation mode. R3 Sayfa 25/34 DOSING PUMPS 4.4.5 Parameter Explanations P1 This parameter used for changing the pump operating mode.5 different operating mode it has. 0_Manuel In this mode, pulse per minute changed with up and down buttons and pump starts and stops with ON/OFF button. 1_Auto In this mode, pump operates like manual mode, but runs for open period adjusted in parameter P 2 (on time) and stops for closed period adjusted in parameter P 3 (off time). 2_Volumetric 1 In this mode, pump shots for P 5 (Vol. Set value) times in every P 4 (Water meter set value) signal get from a counter and wait for other signals. If P 4 and P 5 parameters adjusted 1, pump can be operated according to a signal obtained by a control device. For example P 4 parameters set value is entered 3 and P 5 parameter set value is entered 5. When water meter (counter) signals comes 3, pumps shots 5 times. The device according to the time between signals automatically adjusts the stroke range. Summarize, the dosing pump shots equal intervals that depending on the incoming signal from counter. 3_ Volumetric 2 4_0/4–20 mA P2 In this mode, pump shots for P 5 (Vol. The device adjusts the stroke range according to stroke per minute. Device adjusts the stroke range according to analog input value. Pump starts and stops with ON/OFF button. This is on time parameter. If device operating mode adjusted AUTO pumps works according at entered on time value. User can adjust the on time value 1 to 99 minutes. For example the user enter the on time value is 5 minute. A 5 message shown on main screen while the pumps working. P3 This is off time parameter. If device operating mode adjusted AUTO pumps wait according at entered off time value. User can adjust the on time value 1 to 99 minutes. For example the user enter the off time value is 2 minute. A 2 message shown on main screen while the pumps waiting. P4 This parameter is counter set value it is used just device operating mode adjusted Vol1 or Vol2. User can adjust the value 1 to 999. P5 This parameter is volumetric control set value it is used just device operating mode adjusted Vol 1 or Vol 2.User can adjust the value 1 to 999. P6 Minimum pulse value adjusted by user also this parameter adjusted analog input range minimum value. Device minimum pulse value used in Manuel, Auto and Analog operation modes. If the minimum value entered different value from "0" (zero) pumps will continue to work else coming "0" volt from analog output source that in the Analog operation mode. R3 Sayfa 26/34 DOSING PUMPS P7 Maximum pulse value adjusted by user also this parameter adjusted analog input range maximum value. Device maximum pulse value used in Manuel, Auto and Analog operation modes P8 This parameter uses for work the pump depending on a analog output source. Pulse/Minute value is calculated according to the value of analog input. User can select of one from 4 different working mode (0 – 20 mA, 20 – 0 mA, 4 – 20 mA, 20 – 4 mA) P9 This parameter used for password activation. Parameter value is entered 0, password is disabled. Parameter value is entered 1, password is enabled. Device is need the true password for enter parameter list. P10 This parameter is used for enter the user password value. User can select any value 1 to 999 P11 This is memory mode for volumetric control. If the signals (max. 999) higher than pump working capacity device can not work over its capacity. Parameter value is entered 0 memory mode is disabled, Parameter value is entered 1 memory mode is enabled. 4.5 Details of External Socket Figure 38 4.6 Volumetrik Modellerde Sayaç Bağlantısı Counter connection in volumetric models must be as below.
