Not much happening this month, a few of us have
been
able
to get out and fly with our skis on the weekends,
8
other day’s its been to windy. But now that the snow is gone
9 I put the wheels back on in place of the skis (a sure sign
that we’ll get more snow).

“NAME THAT PLANE”
JANUARY’S ANSWER
No one guessed the January plane. It was the Douglas A3 Sky Warrior.
FEBRUARY’S PLANE
This aircraft built to operate from a carrier deck combined
the strike and anti-submarine warfare roles into one. Its
unique engine was the key to the aircraft’s service
success, as it boasted 2 independent power sections
driving separate propellers combined in a coaxial
arrangement.
Send all responses to Bradford Walters at Bradford@thehoverzone.com.
