It can also be combined with other technologies such as thermal printing to provide costeffective solutions in many situations. Our intelligent RFID products are based on the following frequencies: NF 125 kHz, HF 13.56 MHz and UHF 860-960 MHz. Through our joint partnership, Nagels and ESP Systex offer you our pooled experience and extensive capacities for the production of RFID tickets, cards and labels. RFID and public transport RFID tickets are manufactured to the international standard ISO 15457, 1-3, and can be produced as single, fanfolded or roll tickets. Materials range from normal card, thermal card and special foils, through to tickets with ‘buffer materials’ that hide the chip. These may be printed using standard or security inks, and special die-cutting, perforation, numbering and encoding are all possible enhancements. RFID chips in common use include Mifare Ultralight, Ultralight EV1, Ultralight C, Mifare 1K and SRT512 with a frequency of 13.57 Mhz. RFID and applications • Tickets for public transport, mass transit, events, car parks and hotels • Tags for vehicles, luggage, textiles and sports • Labels for trademark protection, acces control and anti-theft purposes • Plastic cards for time recording, access control and payments • Standards: ITSO, VDV, Calypso, EMV and ISO • Extras: Wristbands, key chains etc. RFID and events RFID tickets, with their unique chip ID, holograms and security inks, can take care of the most stringent security requirements at high-profile events. As in the public transport sector, HF chips are used to achieve maximum performance. Tickets may be further enhanced by the use of special die-cuts, perforations, numbering and encoding. RFID and vehicle access RFID-enabled stickers affixed to the inside of vehicle windshields provide remote access to car parks, company premises and secure areas. The special UHF antenna technology (860-960 MHz) transmits the data automatically and securely over a distance of several meters to the data identification unit. These stickers may be printed in multiple colours, numbered, and given barcodes. Pre-encoding and end-encoding are both possible. RFIDentic A joint venture company The Nagels Group and ESP Systex have joined together to develop RFID solutions to meet the requirements of customers and OEMs. To support this, the partners have made significant investments in state-of-the-art RFID equipment and have the capacity to produce millions of high quality RFID tickets, labels or tags every week. Our joint approach covers all the components of the final product - antenna, chip, materials, design, conversion, encoding and packaging - whatever our customers require to fulfil their needs. Nagels has vast experience of producing high quality machine-issued tickets used in mass transit, car parking, access control and event ticketing. ESP Systex bring a 12-year track record of successfully developing proven systems solutions, an array of added value bureau services, smartcard expertise, and industry application standards compliance.
