Company Profile
Stasis Estates was founded in 1983, at a time when actual, real and registered companies dealing
with property developing where only a handful in Pafos. We have grown into a company involved in
the developing, building and operation of residential, commercial and leisure projects. From the very
beginning customer satisfaction has been not only our goal, but is treated as part of our ethics. This
concept was pioneering for its time, and has since then been copied many times but rarely matched.
Our initial activities involved developments of residential and commercial projects in central areas of
Kato Paphos. Building on to our good reputation and listening to our valued customers, the company
was one of the first to expand in other areas that are increasingly popular today. These areas include
Peyia, Saint George, Sea Caves, Coral Bay, Tala, Agios Neophytos, Pafos Town and suburbs to
mention just a few. Only a few years later, in 1990 we designed, constructed and since then operate
the Avlida Hotel.
This luxurious 4 star 200 room hotel, carefully designed to the highest standards with two restaurants,
three bars, extensive lounge area, large swimming pool with rock formations, lazy river, conference
facilities and boasts one of the best locations in the Pafos area. We accommodate our inspection visit
customers but also arrange greatly discounted accommodation for our off-plan buyers who wish to
visit their future home during construction.

happy to announce that we offer inspection visits.
Without doubt, the best way to decide about buying a home in Cyprus is by making a personal

Information on Cyprus
Cyprus, the third largest island in the Mediterranean, is situated in the eastern end of the
Mediterranean, is a land of truly magnificent natural beauty and rich culture. Enjoying
hot summers and mild winters, Cyprus has been for decades an established tourist destination.
Small as it may be, Cyprus is indeed the island for all seasons. Sandy beaches that go on for miles
and crystal clear water forms the majority of the coastline of Cyprus. Colourful plantations and
rare wildlife find refuge in the Akamas forest. One can ski on the snowy slopes of Troodos
mountains, and during the same day swim in the crystal clear Pafos beaches. The 8000 year
history of Cyprus is quite evident in ancient fortresses, castles, Tombs and Mosaics. Plenty for the
cultured to study and admire.
Such is the nature of Cyprus. It has something for everybody, small distances, perfect climate and
most importantly, welcoming people.
All the above are enhanced by the good infrastructure, membership to the EU and the
development plans for Cyprus. It is not by chance that so many foreigners have chosen Cyprus for

Pafos: Your Home, your Investment
The birthplace of Aphrodite, and ancient capital of Cyprus, Pafos has rich heritage and culture.

Located on the South-West of the island, it is arguable that Pafos has the best climate all year
round. Heat does not reach intolerable levels and winters are milder and shorter than other

Once you have selected your property and paid the reservation fee to take it off the market, you should seek

Education
The Public school system in Cyprus has a twelve-year span of education and in addition to the local Greek
schools there are private junior and secondary schools of a high standard catering for foreign pupils. There is
a private international school on the outskirts of Pafos town, where all preparations for UK university
examinations take place. An approximate cost is between 2500-3000 Euro per student per year. There are
also 4 internationally recognised universities in Cyprus which teach all subjects in English, and from which
transfers to UK universities are possible.

The European Pet Passport makes bringing your much-loved pets to your new home in Cyprus a hassle-free
and easy procedure.
You can avoid the need for your pet to spend any time in quarantine as almost all requirements can be
carried out before you move. Your local vet can provide you with the European Pet Passport, which requires
that your pet is micro-chipped, has had rabies vaccinations and has been blood-tested. Another condition is
that 24 to 48 hours before your arrival, your pet has a flea, tick and worm treatment. Your vet can do all these
and should fill in the corresponding pages in the Passport. Make sure you acquire a suitable travel box for it
and that it does not travel alone. Once you arrive you should pay a visit to a Cypriot vet along with the
Passport and any other paperwork for a typical and brief inspection. We can provide assistance by pointing
you to the Animal Welfare Society should you find any difficulties in the above process.
