Monday thru Friday 9am – 5pm EST • Saturday Hours 10am – 4pm EST 1863 Copper Nickel Indian Head Cents – PCGS Graded – Here’s an amazing deal of 1863 cents that hadn’t seen the light of day since shortly after they were minted, during the Civil War, 149 years ago. They were stashed in paper wrapped rolls of 25 coins and have the beautiful look of freshly minted cents! We purchased three of these 25 coin rolls, so there should be enough to go around. Still, you don’t want to miss out as the quality is remarkable and copper-nickel cents rarely look this ‘fresh’! E-mail us at info@coastcoin.com Visit our website at www.coastcoin.com OUR ‘RAW’ GRADING Grading Grading: Coins Our grading is based on Photograde and our interpretation of industry standards. We describe our Uncirculated coins with adjectives, as follows: Select BU (Select Brilliant Uncirculated) These are nice Uncirculated coins. We reject coins with unsightly bag marks, below average strikes or unsightly defects. You can expect a very attractive coin. Choice BU (Choice Brilliant Uncirculated) These are premium quality Uncirculated coins with above average strikes and luster with cleaner than average surfaces. Gem BU (Gem Brilliant Uncirculated) These are our finest Uncirculated coins. They offer superior strike and luster as well as a lack of major abrasions. Grading: Paper Money Our grading for all grades is the industry standard: VG (Very Good): Will be fairly well soiled; may be significantly worn; might have roughness around the edges with only minute problems. F (Fine): Well circulated with little crispness remaining; edges may be rough. VF (Very Fine): Some circulation; may show several folds and will have lost some of its crispness and color. XF (Extra Fine): Circulated; may have some folds; still has some crispness. AU (Almost Uncirculated): (Almost new) These will be much the same as a “new” note, except for a single fold or several corner folds. CU (Crisp Uncirculated): No trace of circulation. Can have centering problems, pin holes, counting smudges, wrinkles, close margins, or a corner tip fold (not into design). Choice CU (Choice Crisp Uncirculated): A nice new note but not quite Gem. Centering may be a little off. May show some aging, light counting smudges, or wrinkles. Gem CU (Gem Crisp Uncirculated): An almost perfect note. Better than average margins. No aging or fading. MS-64 1896-O Morgan Dollar Flashy blast white luster on the obverse that is reminiscent of an 'S' mint rather than the normally subdued luster of an 'O' mint. The reverse also has its share of flashy white luster with a very light haze. The strike is as sharp as you're likely to ever see on this rare date and there are very few marks, all of which are very insignificant. Here's a wonderful example of one of the rarest Morgan Dollars of which only 7 have graded higher at PCGS! A very high quality example of this scarce date with crisp white luster and a fantastic strike for this often poorly struck date. The few marks that define the grade are well placed as to not harm this dollar's excellent eye appeal! Only $16,250.00 #204051 Only $7,095.00 #204030 PCGS. MS-63 1911-D $2 1/2 Indian Gold Coin 1934-S Peace Dollar PCGS. MS-62 CAC PCGS. MS-65+ CAC In a PCGS Secure holder. Blazing mint luster and a great strike with beautiful smooth surfaces. Very few trivial marks, and the lightest chestnut hue imaginable, on this incredible, original Gem! Strong D. Extremely well struck with the mintmark being as bold as you'll find on any $2 1/2 Indian! The lustrous yellow-gold surfaces show a very light green hue which we love to see as it attests to the originality of this exceptional '11-D. This is of course the 'key' to this popular series. The 55,680 coin mintage is more than four times less than the second lowest mintage in the series! Only $10,950.00 #204082 Only $12,950.00 #203894 1861 $3 Princess Gold Coin 1869 Judd-743 PCGS. AU-58 Pattern Half Dollar A true 'borderline Unc.' as it is difficult to find the bare trace of wear that keeps this rare date from being fully mint state! The luster is rich and flashy and the strike is bold on the obverse and showing a touch of softness on the reverse. Just 5,959 minted and most of the couple hundred or so survivors show considerable wear. PCGS. Proof-65 "Standard Half Dollar". Struck in silver, plain edge. High rarity-6.
